If your only source of PDT is gleti's legs, malignance gloves, and JSE cape that's just 23 PDT. I've been taking thief out to limbus now and again to add some variance to the runs and get some exemplar on it, and when I get hit on thief I take so much more damage than I do on monk or warrior I notice it immediately

OK, but let's take that logic a step further. Let's say you're getting hit for, IDK, 400 damage per hit from the mobs with 0 DT.

You say you have 23% PDT, so you're at 308/hit. Now add Alabaster Earring, 288/hit.

Is that 20 damage/hit saving your life? IDK...

If that damage is lower than that, the "savings" of wearing an Alabaster Earring is even worse. If you're taking 100 damage/hit, chances are you will never, ever, possibly notice that damage reduction.

Meanwhile, you're dropping 10 PDT to gain a TINY increase (if any) by swapping 3 STP for 7 DA on the back piece. On THF.

So...5 DT is amazing and worth dropping 3 STP (straight up), but 10 PDT isn't worth swapping...a tiny, tiny, insignificant amount of TP gain rate for...? While dropping 20% TA damage. I don't think TA damage is a significant contributor to THF damage, but it's a non-0 number.

I guess the argument could be made that it's a swap for the meva, but I don't believe that Meva will make a significant difference (and you can add 30 meva to the ambu cape at the cost of acc if you want)

The set you propose also only has 35% DT so...is DT a concern or not...?

There is no question that every thief should want to include fully upgrades alabaster earring, duty body, head, and legs at the very minimum to their tp sets within the next year or two.

I don't understand everyone's obsession with alabaster earring. In a set with 5/5 of the limbus gear you absolutely don't need accuracy. The DT might be relevant, but a lot of times it isn't, and then haste which is, often times, not necessary. So...it's a 5 STP earring. It's not bis for anything. Unless you need accuracy, dt, or haste.

Seems like everyone is putting it in all their sets and I just don't get it.

Maybe you could add a form of popularity rating (imagine github stars), so you could generate a curated list based on popularity.

Just a thought.

my Stage 5 Helheim

8 master levels later, all of the puppet's skill categories are capped. *wheeze*

Armor Shatterer should be given to Archery for Ranger mains. Looks cool as hell, and the effect is *chef's kiss*

Guess I can use my Stage 5 Helheim to Master RUN now.
By Vyrerus on 2026-02-27 03:39:41
Minor nitpick: Why use a VIT WSD cape for Fimbu, particularly on RUN? Moar tanky while WSing, since equal mods?

Raw damage would still be better with STR though, yeah? Gotta get the fSTR pumped. All the other Gsword WSes(not you Dimi) use STR too.

Sketchy!
By maletaru on 2026-02-27 03:23:33
So...If spamming then maybe lion is marginally better. If you're able to SC then helmheim will absolutely wreck lion.

Not terribly surprised?

If you guys come to a conclusion on what sets are optimal for TP + WS sets I'll add them to the front page, I haven't had a ton of time to run the gear through sims myself and test different stuff. I'll likely add a separate set for like dream TP set etc. Appreciate the discussion it was on my next todo list, interesting to see how good this gear makes DD RUN again. o7

Pretty sure you left prime equipped on the TP set when you swapped to lionheart reso set and ran dps which is why its listing higher dmg/hit.

It's quite possible, I probably shouldn't be doing this at 11pm after donating blood and just finishing leg day at the gym, but I don't make good decisions, and you all will pay for it.

Ummm something isn't mathing here.

Lionheart has higher avg white damage...how?

What TP set did they use? Same one I'm guessing. Wonder how the attack and TP gain rates are the same when lionheart has much higher delay.

Had to reset my PC, so I don't have it up, I'll rerun them and screenshot each TP/WS set and post for accountability. Give me a few.

During the Doll Festival, you can trade a sweet rice cake to the moogle in order to obtain an #FES dial key. So take on the activities bit by bit each day and something good might happen!
* You can acquire one #FES dial key per day (Earth time).

â–¼Acquisition conditions
- Trade the sweet rice cake to the moogle
* The Hume rice cake, Elvaan rice cake, Tarutaru rice cake, and Mithran rice cake are not supported.
SE decided to make this event's #FES keys obtainable only by trading a synth-only item, so predictably the price of sweet rice cakes has skyrocketed making this event's #FES keys anything but festive.

The way they worded it makes it seem like we can get sweet rice cakes from doing "the activities" but there are no such activities. :/

Can anyone explain how to maintain the Expert words? I think i'd prefer that over blue text tbh
You just level up something new without revoking artisan or whatever.

You get Expert rank from completing the 98 skill test and once you lose that, you lose the rank with it, so it ends up looking like this:

Could have them all as Artisan at the end if you want but then you risk skilling up and pulling that point away from whatever you 110 craft is. Also, blue is true.

I just went down 88 for the GP item and didn't get the key item from 98 though. Oops.

Fair. I could have SWORE I saw a screencap of all blue Experts, but maybe I'm misremembering or it was a gag

Ridiculous, I need to try mercari or somewhere. Over 100 dollars in fees. I lost 80 dollars on something that was brand new unopened and the only way it sold in over 3 months was to promote it. Crazy
I quit selling on eBay well over 10 years ago because the fees were outrageous. It seems they've made them even worse.

eBay can rot and fail for all I care. They give absolutely no protection to their sellers. The last straw was I sold a portable microphone recorder (for acoustic music capturing) marked as used-like new.

The buyer purchased it, received it, used it for 2 months, then filed a claim that it wasn't in the condition listed. The microphone recorder even had hundreds of recordings from the buyer left on it. eBay forced me to accept the return and refunded the seller, putting my eBay account in negative status as I had no other things sold... which gave me a strike on my seller account, closed all my other listings, and wouldn't let me sell again until I paid the funds back to eBay.

Damn that sucks its like my biggest fear there lol. Especially since I'm selling some resin statues that tend to break easily in transit

Where else do you sell stuff that is better?

Just wanted to drop my two cents in here. I have no problems with links to my addons being included here, and I love the idea of a website that raises the visibility of available addons, however there's quite a few things I don't love about the actual result.

I have 6 addons hosted on my github, only 5 are linked to here, and of those 5, only one links to my actual repo, the rest are links to versions re-hosted by others.

I'm not at all opposed to others re-hosting, or editing my stuff, and if any of those re-hosted addons were edited in a way to make them preferable, or even different from my originals (better is subjective), I wouldn't have an issue with it either preferring enhanced versions or even just duplicating entries, but the fact that in these 5 cases they're either carbon copies of, or older versions of the ones on my repo, I have to agree with the people saying manual handling is preferable, at least compared to whatever you're doing now, though I'm not sure if you're up for that.

Regardless, I'm not asking you to take down my repo or addon links, I generally lean towards extreme openness for code and have never had a problem with anyone doing anything they like with my code, but felt compelled to give my opinion.

I'm actually working on this very problem right this second, because I've noticed the exact same issue myself, and it could be done better. This is going to take time though, and even when I work it out, I'm gonna need to perform a complete recrawl which is going to take a while too.

As for a, manual list of "these are solid addons and you should check them out", that's coming too! I'm a little concerned people will immediately get bent out of shape about <insert addon> not being immediately included, but, it's coming. Whilst I've started some very basic "these are the addons I use and enjoy" listing, it's a much more significant project and is further down the line when I get the rest of the site at a point I'm happy with and the community is too.

Thank you for putting forward your opinion, it really helps!

For those who want to hear my voice in english... not gonna happen.

I wont be trying to speak in english with my mother around.

I will just drop it to the AI to convert it.

In the future, maybe.

Seems decent-ish the translation.

I think I will try to record me telling the manga story in a video, instead of trying to replace the text and such.

It would be damn large project that Im totally not sure if I will make it real. Certainly not worth, but at least something Ive wanted for years.

This night I wrote the script for the first chapter. The script alone was almost 2 hours of work. Considering maybe I got all images and text done, the rest is me recording the speech and putting the images, probably more 2 hours of work.

4 hours of work for 40 pages. The volume is 200 pages long so required 20h / volume. The story has 14 volumes so we are talking about a commitment of 280h of effort...

Im not sure if this will work, but we will see...

When leveling all your crafts to 98 to acquire every KI/item from GP worth a title, is there a way to keep the Expert tag on all your crafts after they de-level?

I'd like to have all Expert on the list if it's possible... or does changing guild's revert it back to Artisan when it de-levels back to 70?

It's purely an aesthetic endeavor... but it'd be nice... (And I could of swore I saw a screenshot of such)

Brother, you just said to use Regal gloves (a piece you want to lower your DT amount, so you get hit harder, for better TP gain) along with the highest DT body in the game. That logic is extremely sound. Can't argue with you there.
Well if you few the regal gloves gimmick in a vacuum then sure, don't wear any -DT. In reality I imagine you do want to manage the incoming damage for obvious reasons and that's where the -DT and extra HP should come in handy.

I dont think I've seen any documentation (atleast I dont remember seeing it) of where the StoreTP and Triple Attack augs start appearing.
Zorak has updated BG with their augments on Duty Crown up to R30. STP shows up at R16, TA shows up at R20. We can probably safely assume the other pieces follow the same pattern.

I personally just see it as sakpatas for RUN, just with 100x the work to get it to that level, very welcome to have but man thats a slog to get it useable

They had to add the work required to get it to Sakpata level or Sakpata would be replaced almost instantly. They gave the best stats of Sakpata's gear on the base and then augments enhanced it further. Moogle Amplifiers also drastically sped up the Odyssey rank up process, they threw the players a bone with that. If they never introduced that system and the only RP you could get was from beating/damaging bosses, it would take forever to R30 every single Sakpata's piece. The slog would probably be even worse, once you start factoring in wipes and amount of Segments you require to attempt that many fights. They learned their lesson with Limbus sets by not making them easy to breeze through and finish.

Minor note but it also got left behind with PDL, which was the other way devs seperated the roles out. Has some trouble long term as a DD too as you either full-time hasso as /sam and lose the atk perks along with the casting debuff, or have 2 mins of downtime with LR

I personally just see it as sakpatas for RUN, just with 100x the work to get it to that level, very welcome to have but man thats a slog to get it useable

Because the pieces come with max augs when you compare them, clearly, granted if its like sworn i think the traits come earlier than youd think.

Kinda like alabaster earring comes with stp+5 when put into sets
