Just to speed it up some, with chi blast up he still only gets the one fetter off around 10% or less with rdm and monk on it, found he would fetter a bit earlier if the cor/brd got on it as well.
Normal mode aminon usually looks like:
mnk>cor>rdm>brd>geo
Hard mode:
rdm/cor/brd dmg can shuffle around some depending on how much effort is being put in (which is usually not much).

Yesterday I was thinking so much about my video script that I couldnt fall asleep at my usual time.
I normally go to sleep at 10pm, but it was already 0:30am and I was still wide awake.
This is kinda a bother because I wake up early and start doing my things right after. Sleeping late means waking up late and that means messing with my schedule.
Worried about not being able to sleep, and tired of trying to forcefully sleep, I tried my last resort: I grabbed my ipad and restarted reading the current chapter of Computer Systems book.
The current chapter was talking about boolean operation with bytes.
Shortly after reading one paragraph I successfully managed to sleep like a rock.

What kind of gear on everyone to do this? Specifically the MNK (looking to progress more too, so we could try to get this set up).

The lead actress from Scream 5 and 6 did not return.
|
|
 |
|
|
depends on the encounter, its not a 1 size fits all kind of thing in both how they can be proc'd and what they do when proc'd, wiki has (some) of the proc conditions on those specific NMs and what they do
|
|
 |
|
|
What do !! procs in UNMs and Escha NMs do exactly?
I know the purpose of !! procs in Dynamis and Voidwatch and Abyssea but it seems like UNM and Escha procs just terrorize temporarily.
Is there more to them or just terror to make the fight easier?

Um the actual lead actress returned. I think the other girl was a bad actress. And I despise when they sideline legacy characters

I thought it was awful. The ending was stupid as ***, which ruins the entire movie. I hope they lose money on it and end the series. Honestly this one should have just been a tax write off. As soon as they decided to fire the lead actress, just can it.

Dang that lua would have been nice before I started raising new birds. Its odd food doesmt do stats anymore but SE does weird things. 3/4 characters have birds of varying quality already made from like 15 years ago. Do chocobucks earned on one bird carry over to another if I just hoard them?

scream 7 was good, despite the critic reviews. I hate when political crap tries to hurt movie franchises. I think the ending and reveal was quite lame though. I wish they did something else, but I liked the overall idea of it and the scenes were quite intense.

***, ***...I haven't talked to my chocobo chick in like 5 days.
Lol gg bro. That thing ded.
I officially have the worst chocobo imaginable. I can't even win the first race where you have to come in 1st 2nd or 3rd out of 4 chocobos.
I really half-assed this chocobo raising. My chocobo is 75 days old, and is STR/END/DSC/RCP: A little below, A little below, Poor, Poor.
I gave the stables a new, warm chocobo egg. Do I check on him every day, like the monsters in Monster rearing? If yes, then why do the care plans even exist? I guess I have to feed it every day too right?
.....Frustrating. What do I do? Yes, you have to check it every day. Care Plan works best when the chocobo thinks of you as its parent, and basically not at all once affection is low enough.
Feeding daily is part of that.

Bg wiki (kinda maybe) implies that celerity salad gives more discernment than zegham carrot ("boost" vs "small boost") and a ffxiclopedia guide states its +4 and "almost as much as a token". From what I've noticed below it seems to be much smaller. To be fair, I wasnt intentionally measuring its value and there's lots of flaws to what I observed. From what I noticed, salads are either giving discernment and receptivity equally, neither, or only a very small amount of discernment, like 1-1.5 weeks of feeding was less than a days difference of listen to music.
I know nothing previously about the parent chocos, only color which isn't relevant. All were made via matchmaking
Chocobo A has different parents than the other 3. ChocoA was walked amd fed zegham daily. Care plan was music. It reached a substandard in REC/DSC the same day. This suggests it did not inherit boosted stats. About a day or so later, I switched to a combo of celerity/tornado based on hunger levels and maximizing salad intake w/o over feeding. This led to 2-3 tornado/celerity a day. It reached A bit deficient in both stats simultaneously.
Chocos B-D have the same pair of parents. All 3 inherited either gallop or canter. Again walked/checked daily. Listen to music care plan. They began with celerity/tornado salads. One was overfed in one instance, but never recived a stomach ache. Choco's B and C reached substandard in -REC- prior to discernment reaching substandard. This and the inherited abilities tell me the mother likely had good receptivity. Choco D did not appear to inherit that receptivity as its rec stayed poor for a few days longer amd REC/DSC reached substandard on the same day.
Without wrecking the usability of my chocobos, is there a better way I can try to measure the effect? Celerity salads are not hard to make, but it is more effort than carrots and it doesnt seem to be worth feedimg them daily with a neglible return.

Maybe I didn’t read hard enough but the easiest/stress free method would just be doing 8 boss with a 9boss comp and then transition into doing Aminon as well. Kiting F/H is so much better than fighting them 2DD 8 boss style. To each their own though.

At that point DNC and MNK with subtle blow sets, PLD go COR and COR alt to GEO?
Should work fine, yes. Only dnc and mnk engage, geo/whm and probably brd/whm for healing. If you go the subtle blow route rdm/brd aren't engaging, but can do tactician's for them.

Pretty sure WAR can Impulse Drive and destroy most/all bosses. I don't recall if it conflicts with any of primary WS, but it's a fantastic option. IMO better than Upheaval from Chango, unless you're specifically SCing
I didn't think about that. Assumed Chango would've just been better, as I don't really see a lot of discussion between weapons not Naeg or Prime.
So based on preferences you're looking at:
P1: Dnc (dagger), brd alt (savage, mythic for aminon later)
P2: Pld (kite), cor alt (savage)
P3: Rdm, war alt (chango/shining)
We don't mind swapping around, as everyone kinda has the mentality of "will play what will be most efficient".
We were talking about the 2 DD/no tank set-up today, and I was curious about it. At that point DNC and MNK with subtle blow sets, PLD go COR and COR alt to GEO? RDM is already putting out solid numbers, my COR alt needs help, as it was sort-of thrown together to fill my spot for other things when I started needing to come PLD.

It is a bit of a moot point. You just get what you get and if it sucks you skip it. You lose a day. Not earth shattering.
But interesting to think about.

No reason to have a Lehkos ring. If by chance it helped for a single fight (it doesn't matter) then yes you could swap it for a week and then swap right back to a good ring.
98% of the time Ephramad is best for current content, 1.99% its Cornelia and lets throw Lehkos a bone with .01%.

Eh, I never had any go issues just staying at 70 to get points and raising or lowering rank with guild tests if the item was bad at that day
Obviously more of a pain if the test item for raising cap past 70 sucks for said craft

Could have gotten him lower with more lehko (possibly)! Wouldn't have made a difference for clear but if you can quantify the gains there's no detriment bringing it along for a push I'd suppose. Could be the difference between 1-2% loss and a win.
I mean, in theory, but I'd argue that the loss of Cornelia (or ephramad) could actually make you lose the fight by 1%, seeing as how the group with the lehkos performed worse than the group without them? Not seeing the strong evidence for this ring being the key to pushing this fight.
As I said above, there are a lot of factors either way and it's not definitive either way. I only posted to show that having the ring clearly isn't required to do the thing. It might also be detrimental (especially for DNC IMO) but it certainly doesn't seem necessary.
As an aside, we definitely wouldn't have gotten 1-2% more because:
The double regen will absolutely destroy your DPS
The second add will probably cause significant chaos
The second yaegasumi will slow your progress to a crawl for a long time.
