I haven't seen anyone talk about this event during the current cycle, but the Green Festival is live until the 18th. It's a rare one that only comes around like once a year. There's some interesting food options available from Cafe Maid #2.

Cheaper stuff stacks to 99 and lasts 5 minutes (perfect for short fights like Sortie Bosses or UNM w/e, helping someone with a quick fight; In Sortie, the food will wear off by the time you get to the next boss due to all the travel). Most food lasts for 30min/60min/180min, but a lot of it is wasted due to idle time/afk/death/travel, so I think 5-min food is an interesting on-the-go type of deal.

They're not groundbreaking, but interesting budget options. STP/DA, MDB, MBB+2 FC etc. Worth holding on to a few stacks. The annoying part is the Ex 5-min food isn't sendable to mules, so I have to make space in Storage to hang onto them, but still worth the inventory space IMO.

Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for the reminder!

Also, the fact you can get a green apron and rancid coffee seems like shots fired at a certain coffee shop.

It's also schedule I not 1
Isn't that just the Roman numeral 1? (never played the game)

For our math geniuses

How much fotia would fotia ammo need to do to beat knob or the VR wsd reward?

I realize this is a loaded question and this may be an even more so loaded question is it easier to compare pdif vs wsd? #:#

Troll everyone and GOTY ends up being Madden 25.

exp33 should be game of the year, but I think dunkeys game of the year will win.
By Asura.Eiryl on 2025-08-07 11:45:29
Better reason for game of the year than *** Balatro.

We need a Fotia Sachet :(

Thank you for checking. Did I disable the party actions incorrectly? I opened the settings file in the data folder and starting at line 689 I set party_1_actions to <show>false</show>. I did the same for party_2_actions and party_3_actions. Sorry, I'm not that computer savvy.
That's how to disable the Party Actions for them, you got it.

Everyone should be using xipivot for dat mods these days

What's happening in game when you crash to desktop be specific
By Jinxs on 2025-08-07 11:08:11
It would be cool if something could be coded into the website on each item page for quick gear building outside of generating an itemset

Just a quick output
Slot name in both ashitacast and gearswap format
Slot="name",
Uh idk how ashitacast does there's I think it's xml shaped.
<Slot>"name"</slot>

Not a huge qol improvement but would be convenient

I'd love to see augments added to the default data dumps for enhanced searches but I know this would be significantly more work

To cap pdif, your ratio needs to be 0.375 above pdif cap, because above 2.44 ratio your pdif is randomly chosen from range of ratio - 0.375 to ratio + 0.375, so to ensure you will be at pdif cap even if you randomly got -0.375, you need to be that much over pdif cap with your ratio.
By Byrthnoth on 2025-08-07 10:48:34
That's probably approximately correct but maybe not exactly. Ratio historically doesn't map 1:1 with pdif, but maybe it does at the high end where PDL matters.

Bgwiki lists a ratio cap per weapon type (3.625 for 1H), but it isn't clear how PDL affects that.

my understanding is it'd be the same as pdif and just moves the cap up by however much total PDL you have in traits/gear

This is not how it works. Ratio caps the same for normal and crit hits. Now what crit does is add +1.0 pdif on top of cap for regular hit, but that doesn't require additional attack. This makes crits extremely potent in very low attack scenario because if you have some ridiculously low pdif like 0.2 and you crit, it will go to 1.2 on that crit increasing damage x6. In general pdl lowered the base effectiveness of crits, because without pdl +1.0 pdif was boosting damage by like 30% at the capped attack. Now with pdl increasing pdif on normal hits even to something like 5.5 or 6, +1 on top of that is relatively much less of a boost.

You beat to the point but I'm glad you did. I wasn't thinking in terms of how beneficial crits are for a low pdif situations, but simply in total max damage. I don't see PDL+ in any kind of detriment because it doesn't lower crit damage, just raises how high we can make it. but your point is solid, the relative effectiveness of crits is reduced.

hmm I like the insight of focusing on crits when hard to cap pdif. wish I would have thought that way years ago... because several hybrid jobs lie in this situation, and crit rate + is probably more beneficial in solo and lowman situations when trying to tackle bigger stuff.

Just curious, what if youre inflicted with say a silence aura, or any unremovable debuff. Will it keep spamming echoes, panacea, etc until you're out of the meds?
Agreed, this is the downfall of these addons
By Tesahade on 2025-08-07 09:54:45
an incorrect dgvoodoo set up can cause crashes, I would suggest you come to the windower support discord channel
By Byrthnoth on 2025-08-07 09:29:22
It used to be that attack/defense ratio capped at the same point for normal hits and crits. Is that no longer the case?

Bgwiki lists a ratio cap per weapon type (3.625 for 1H), but it isn't clear how PDL affects that.

Should make a mechanic to sacrifice th stacks for damage
Maybe make thf a more relevant dd

Th breaker

Especially if you could just gain them back

A better option would be to have your damage increase per TH stack. This would encourage Thf to stack TH even in mobs that aren’t affected.

Idk, increase PDL and WS damage.
By silvanesti on 2025-08-07 09:13:44
Well looks like I'll have to do some more research. Still crashing, 3 times in fights in sortie tonight. Had minimal addons loaded too.

Lol, thanks for the mansplaining on PDL, Xilkk-wiki! xD
:P you started it saying I was confusing crit rate w/ crit damage!

... errr you are right I didn't have full context on the conversation between you & Melliny

my bad.

gonna crunch the numbers later. but between def down and even the attack bonuses from trusts, gear and abilities, I stand by my statement about being able to cap attack on most content your want to lowman.

and 4k ~5.4k attack to cap... sure there are fights like that, but again, those will have a full party, not trusts, and capping that attack is doable. shucks, a pug in temenos I had some ridiculous attack at like 6k iirc. methinks the cases where you need that high of attack are cases where you only go in w/ alot of support anyway.
By Jakey on 2025-08-07 07:18:19
I mean if you really want to go crazy with evisceration offhand the 50 crit damage besieged dagger and go to besieged.

If they actually make something worthwhile to do with besieged theres so many builds i have planned for that dagger.
