I was willing to defend him in the other thread, and I thought maybe other people were just kind of bullying/being mean since his speech is a little off. I ignored that other thread and let everyone else carry on. But he used the word "secret" one too many times, even bringing that nonsense here, to the point that it was absurdly annoying (since nothing this guy has ever done in ffxi or shared is unknown), so I couldn't take it anymore.

Also, I just posted one of my favorite Street Fighter characters and get told to "go to hell". I could REALLY go in on Aragan for the rest of the AH community to see how much of a major scrub this guy is (Asura already knows), but I'll spare you all since you can probably imagine just from reading his posts.

Also heard second hand ( so I cant fully confirm this but I trust the sources) that someone killed the ITG in tem on asuyra today and no ??? appeared. But I guess based on "making it easier" we knew at least prior that simply killing it wasnt gonna be good enough. Must be some other condition.. with SC dmg or idk something else.

You can overwrite them with the same song, but it's tricky to keep track of.

So, your cheer songs keep you kind of stuck. You can overwrite the one however much you want, but until it has more duration than the cheer songs you can't overwrite any of them. But, you can recast, say you did Ballad2 naked:
Ballad2 (2:00)
Blade Madrigal (4:55)
Ballad1 (14:35)
Victory March (14:40)

Now, your next song overwrites ballad2 because it's the shortest song.

...Obviously this is very impractical during content of any difficulty. It's more of a technicality than anything else, and if you plan to use miracle cheer it's vital to plan your song order correctly to begin with.

You're describing a client behavior (whether you can move on your client), so it's client-side and can be bypassed. That said, depending how it works, it may not be possible to bypass it using packet injection.

I think the division may be a little less clearcut than what you laid out. Konschtat Highlands has no lock while La Theine Plateau does. I had assumed that they lock player movement on the client in zones where there are certain kinds of NPCs that need to spawn and restrict player movement (e.g. doors).

feels like a full tem climb just got 15-20 minutes added onto it. No exaggeration. The portal thing is just brutal. but yeah i think the menu thing velner mentioned is probly the way. I had 2 alts and I targeted the portal. i didn't go into the menu.

There is a trick to handling the teleports but it takes coordination. Everybody first needs to be in the menu before anybody actually chooses to teleport. Anybody in the menu will be fine. Otherwise, the target will disappear for a bit. So annoying.

Short answer is I don't know. It's not my understanding that you can override 15 minutes songs with anything but a different 15 minute song. I use miracle cheer to ballad healer then do all DD songs with healer nearby. They are NEVER overwritten by anything
