Switch 2 will become worth it to me once it has new Fire Emblem & Xenoblade entries. Until then, snooze. Third party stuff gets bought for much cheaper on PC.

thats a subjective answer but I appreciate it nonetheless. AE exemplar cleave is actually very good. And I enjoy playing the game, I would never buy exemplar. ALso more ML = more acc/ evasion, thf is a lot of fun in more then just a few peices of content for me. BUTTT dooo I want to spend this much, I wish I could see a video of someone with 20 mobs n them, I wanna see the tp gain.

I am a firm no on a Switch 2. My Switch has been collecting dust in the closet since I finished TOTK. I feel like they just abandoned the console. Where is Mario Odyssey 2? Why isn't Mario Kart coming to Switch 1? Why did we get 3 bad Mario Party games? I've always liked Nintendo, but with the economy the way it is, there is no reason to support them for nostalgia's sake. Unless you just love Mario Kart, I would wait a few years. |

I saw an article yesterday that said retailers were canceling preorders. I only read the headlines but I assume it has to do with supply or tariffs or both. |

- Upgraded AF weapons would be cool to see.
- Upgraded Relic (and maybe Empyrean) accessories are another thing they seem to have just entirely forgotten about.
- Armor upgrades I'd like to see more unique benefits. Apply some of the neat things from Bonanza weapons or whatnot - even just the Weapon Skill stat% boost could be cool to see. Maybe a multiplier to WSD, so the piece scales up as someone upgrades.
With where the game is at, maybe it's fair to say that REMA weapon enhancing stats would be generally beneficial. Extra stats as a latent with weapons, reduce TP needed for AM levels, make Afterglow more useful, offhand stats/WS apply, whatever. Lots of stuff to play with there that could be interesting.

TP bonus stacks, doesn't it? So put TP bonus on the new armor, and people are still going to use the magian weapons, they'll just use them along with the new pieces. Unless SE gives the armor TP bonus +2000, which would be a terrible idea. |

I use my Gandring solely for farming detritus, or old dyna. That’s it. It’s a farming weapon (that need a matching idle turtle idle set) where the more enemy, the merrier. Usually those content provides crap ML. It’s also not the best for purely thinking of AE (the calculator actually show another weapons combo, I forgot on the top of my head). Think more like a play style.
So no Gandring will not help you ML faster, doubt it’s worth the money (can RMT a lot of free ML for that price… just saying), unless you are planning on daily detritus farming for 1+ year, then yes.
THF also is in no use in any endgames where ML is a need.

I'm so *** sick of Thibron and Centovente They could raise the aeonic tp bonuses to 1000 and make them work in the offhand. It would give people a reason to make some of those. But then everyone would just be using those instead and ignoring all other options. |

If you were going to fix chocobo racing and make it worth doing, how would you do it.
A whole zone was made and wasted on it. There are a ton of things that could be improved with chocobo raising including but no limited to stats being invisible, over-reliance on care plans for improving stats, and negative stats from care plans. As for the races themselves, the biggest issue is that chocobucks are too hard to get for how many you need.
But to make racing worth doing it all comes down to rewards. The exclusive titles are a good start for completionists but there needs to be a better incentive to keep doing it. Even something like silver vouchers. Personally I'd love to see something like silver or even rainbow mog pells as a reward.
Races are now almost completely random. Stats and items used to help until someone found a way to win most of the time for money, SE ended up patching the heck out of it afterwards. It's been so busted it's just not worth doing. |

It's an expensive toy. Not a must have by any means, but it is a lot of fun to play with. If that gil can be spent on something like o.sash or some other big gain item, then probably better to get that.
It's perfectly ok to buy toys and spend gil stupidly too.

SO after reading this thread I still cant decide if I should pick up a Gandring. My goal would be for it to help assist me in master level progress and maybe other mid tier content? Aeolian edge only. What do you guys use it for, are you happy you spend 80 mil gil on it? Help! Dynamis is today must decide!

Not that any of this is actually a secret. Groups have been using Jinpu spam, Aeolian spam, Scythe, GS or Sword to do the six step for years.

You can see whenever Besieged is taking place through your menu. I' a filthy, bottom feeder casual who's been logging in 3 or 4 times a week for a couple hours, and I've done ilvl Besieged multiple times over the last couple weeks. |
