It might change depending on your control scheme, I've never used compact keyboard, but with my control scheme you absolutely do not need to hold ctrl or alt to move a bubble. Cast a bubble, from any <st> command or from the menu, and you can immediately move the bubble with arrow keys. No additional steps or key presses necessary.

Thank you for confirming you spend every spare minute of your life dictated by SE though.
Happy for you though. Enjoy your epilepsy inducing limbus gear. You need help.

I genuinely enjoy your little fantasy stories about my life. I wonder where you come up with this ***.
Like people can only have a meaningful life if they spend several hours a day "developing", whatever the hell that's supposed to mean. What makes you think it takes me an hour to make dinner every night, or that I need to spend *whatever period of time you think I spend* prepping for the next day?
Even if all that were true (again, it's not), I'd still have like...16 hours a day on the weekends to do whatever development you think I need to do.
You are projecting on me SO HARD and frankly I find it hilarious. I have a very enjoyable life and I'm very satisfied, you don't need to worry about me spending too much time with my friends bro. I'm glad you're thinking of me though.

It specifically applies to pets. No idea if that changes any BiS slots for pet jobs.
For BST/PUP its generally the best in the slot it's provided, for SMN they keep putting BPD off of those pieces so more of a grey area there
SMN isn't even on it.

If you're adding condition data, a summary block with a countdown to the end of the tally period and a list of what still needs to be done would be cool.
It's readily available information when you're in limbus, but it would be nice to be able to check it outside the game.

Sub cursor speed can be adjusted with a in game command that I forget. This is the sub target marker on the floor when you move offensive geo spell target for example, ctrl+movement or L2+movement on controller.

and you spend hours on a video game forum being a troll, for a game you apparently dislike. Yet you are talking about his measly 3 hours a day, can't make this up.

The command to switch between different inventories can be found under Main Menu>Mog House and was added during the version update it was introduced. The manual is by no means 100% comprehensive but is still a good resource regardless. Except I'm not doing it in moghouse. It works outside so even if it was there on the website I wouldn't have found it or known it works anywhere.

Didn't know the first one, that could be useful. Have used F8 and F10 since forever. Have to spam F10 near home points that have dozens of people surrounding them.

You can use Shift + Tab to cycle targets into the other direction.
F8 targets nearest hostile NPC in sight. If none is in sight, nearest friendly is targeted.
F10 targets nearest friendly NPC in sight. If none is in sight, nearest hostile is targeted.
Disclaimer: Windower/Gearswap may fiddle with F10.

What is new to the limbus update that would be nice to have for the tracker?
So far I played around with collecting info on the conditions and semi-automate the /check for monsters in close proximity of the player if they’re the NM.

On a side note, you can get a Hoxne Ring using a SP Gobbie Key. (had 200+ keys lol)

Welp, the rumors of an FFVII Part 3 name reveal at The Game Awards were wrong.
If I'm being honest...the game trailers were pretty lackluster this year. Also, nice to see you Rav.
Agreed, and likewise!
Honestly, sometimes I prefer to see lackluster trailers because it means that I can work on my game backlog for a bit...

There is actually quite a large amount of documentation regarding shortcuts and commands including ones listed above on the PlayOnline website. Some things are listed in odd places and there are some links that no longer work but there is a large wealth of information for anyone willing to look for it.
Under the Play Guide tab select Game Manual
The command to switch between different inventories can be found under Main Menu>Mog House and was added during the version update it was introduced. The manual is by no means 100% comprehensive but is still a good resource regardless.
Additionally, for anyone that is not aware yet, if you type "/?" in the chatlog this will bring up the commands listed under the "Command Types" submenu of the game manual while in game. If you want to know more about a particular command you can type "/? (command name here)" and it will bring up a description and example of its use.

. That whole design was just stupid, I don't know how they thought that was going to end up being anything other than a dramafest.
I think it worked well in jp communities, but could just be the fact you barely saw it vs all of the drama on the non-jp side.
I sometimes wonder how much cultural differences impacted their decisions on stuff like this and how the JP communities handled it compared to NA/EU. Seems like it just bred drama but I have no exposure to the JP side.
I also wonder how unique the process is compared to other MMOs of the era. EQ2 was the only one I played for any length other than XI and the epic gear in it was hard to obtain but didn't require nearly the commitment of such a large group. You had time gated raids but the drop distribution was more even and there was less
scarcity. Did MMOs prior to XI (UO? EQ?) have this type of mechanic the way XI did?
Fending off RMTs for Okotes
I'll never not be big mad at my luck with that ***. I still go kill him randomly whenever I'm in the area just out of spite. I spent months camping him and between combatting RMT and no drops, it wasn't until long after they were made ex that I got them.

SE really needs to come out and say what the trigger is if it goes beyond "kill the mob". The ??? is no longer just a free 3k points every few days, its tied to the new Limbus content.

People like MT play 4-6h a day every day for 20 years and at the current rate of change will be doing 6-8 if they add more content and keep old content relevant. People stopped making aeonics after a few generally and then did more slowly over time, but with primes you could make yourself believe you need 6-8 and the grind is scheduled, you can't break SE's forcing you to do it to their schedule.
Here you go again, making baseless, incorrect assumptions about me and being incredibly wrong.
I play about 2-3 hours, 5 days a week. I often take breaks, including about ~10 days I just took off for a vacation.
This imaginary person who you think I am doesn't exist. Maybe you should pick another target who actually is whatever it is you're angry at.

I usually agree with you on just about everything, but be real here. It was mentioned in one month's version update 3 years ago and it's not commonly discussed. I think there are probably quite a few people who weren't aware it was possible, so the thread could be extremely helpful.
I didn't make this post to say that this isn't a potentially helpful tip, fine thread.
I made the post because there were comments saying this was a "hidden secret" and that it was part of the SE mythos of being "mysterious" and how SE "doesn't document things" when this was an example of the complete opposite.
Sure, it's only documented in some patch notes, but it's not as though this was some minor patch nobody was paying attention to. This was a HUGE patch which included 4 more wardrobes and several massive QOL things, including the recycle bin and this (which made the juggle from inventory to other places unnecessary). This was a fairly monumental update, and, as my post pointed out, quite well-documented and not at all a mystery for the playerbase to "come together to figure out, old school style."
