You can hit cap on locus mobs without nyame path D easily provided your pet MB set is good and attachments are optimal for bursting.

Automaton struggles with macc more than anything when maximizing for mab/bursts and vice versa. Locus stuff is fine, but can often get resists on stuff like omen nms or above if maximizing for damage.

Umm technically yes you should keep the other animators but tbh I hardly use them because the gain is marginal and only useful in specific situations of pet only engaged imo.

DRK tp gear is amazing. I think it's more a problem of DRK not being a SAM and he is trying to fight higher lv apex mobs with trusts and only 500+ JP and R15 Sakpata. He lacks stp from /Sam and Sakpata hands and neck. He lacks acc from gifts. I also hope he gets at least one March from BRDs.

As for DRK TP being shafted, yeah well maybe ambu+3 gear would be nice...

I kept thinking about AF/Relic +5, which a lot of people here seem to be taken for granted.
I mean, I won't rule it out, at the same time though I don't think it's a given.

If AF/Relic+5 is gonna come, I'm a bit skeptic imagining a jump similar to the one we had from the previous armours +2>+3.
To be honest even a small jump like the +3>+4 one seems unlikely to me.
I was thinking that if +5 is to come, maybe it could increase the stats that haven't been touched on the +3>+4 update.
So no boost to acc, att, macc etc, but all of the stats that were untouched.
Yes, potentially even some (but not all) of the job specific enhancements.


I still think Thorny's theory (about new armor sets, new accessories and stuff, following the Ultima/Omega equipment) makes more sense than +5, honestly.
But I guess it doesn't have to be one or the other, it could be both!

On the topic of Odin Gear.
I feel like the crit rate on Odin Body is a trap. As long as attack is capped, the PDL on Sakpata's boosts damage on every swing.

You have a constant damage boost over something that has a chance of happening.

It is a bit annoying that we don't have too many high MEVA/Store TP Options, but it's only really an issue for say AM3 Liberator.

It gets to the point that you just need to make it up via rings/accessory pieces.

this is for getting jp with little-no buffs, im assuming he has his acc capped as that would be the main reason he couldnt multi-step conistently, though thinking on it apex poxhounds with no real buffer could be hard to reach acc cap on possibly. But if so it becomes a matter of needing to get more TP a hit. Dont see an issue with having to compensate for that on trash tier mobs

I must agree with that. Having arguably best possible tp set in the game and trying to find reasons not to wear it is simply ilogical. Every DRG would kill for access to Sakpata.

I demand the most hardcore of servers, 1.0 version of the game, no QoL improvements, and if you are knocked out at all ever your character is deleted and you are banned from the server.

Anything less is pussy *** easy mode.

Or a job with access to sakpata yet making any excuse not to wear it insisting on that damn Odin body instead.

I don't trust anyone with the freak show goblin from the absolutely insane fever dream from the OG Twin Peaks as an avatar.

I'm not sure yet. I'm leaning towards leveling RUN and go with Epeolatry. I've got BST, THF, MNK, BLM and BLU to 99 on my main so I should probably go with something I haven't played before but would be good with party content.

If anyone has a better idea of what one should do in this position let me know.
