For magic pacts, Grioavolr always wins.
Something like 25 Avatar MAB and 10 BPD on the Grio?

Honestly, 900 VE is kind of pitiful for something on a 45 minute recast. Invincible is 7200 VE, and 2000 CE(with JP). And Shield Bash is 450CE/900VE on a one minute timer. <,<
Certainly, the point of the Intervene isn't enmity in any case, but... They really could have done better. Better than nothing I suppose.

For multi-hit physical BPs (this covers basically all the popular ones: Volt Strike, Hysteric Assault, Predator Claws) Nirvana with AM3 is top, then Opashoro stage 5, like Dodik said. Opashoro stage 4 and R15 Nirvana without AM3 are tied for 3rd place.
For single-hit, Opashoro stage 5 always wins. Opashoro stage 4 ties with Nirvana R15.
For Flaming Crush, Opashoro stage 4/5 always wins, especially with AM3. Without AM3, R15 Nirvana ties with stage 4 Opa again.
For magic pacts, Grioavolr always wins. I dabbled with Opashoro with AM3 a bit and it wasn't awful, but Grioavolr still beats it.

Anyone got opinions on reward choices?

Bronze still giving 6x Abyssea drops in Kupon form, Silver now giving Ridill/Joyeuse/silly Shadow Lord helmet from Fiat Lux, I have zero complaints about this from both a functional standpoint and a meme standpoint.
(hope the objectives are slightly less awful this time in terms of how they rotate/how they're selected/what's in the pool...)

Not a surprise anymore!

I'm guessing they sold out of NA supply of the kraken club, as I ordered one back when it was up for preorder alongside the ArkAngels shirt. Still have it wrapped up because I'm waiting to give it as a surprise gift the next time I visit a long distance friend lol

Good to stockpile REMA currencies for everyone too.
Returnees and people that lack REMAs should take advantage of easy Ambu months + campaigns like this one.

This is second hand so grain of salt etc.
Nirvana comes out on top if you have AM3 up. Otherwise Opashoro.

If anybody's morbidly curious, with the current exp campaign going I decided to finally master my THF and just grinded mobs in one spot in Temenos until I was done.
Starting at ~100 JP until master, got ~25k units total. Honestly was alot better than doing it by grinding regular apexes given mobs continuously respawn ontop of you and die faster than regular apexes. Not too bad given it knocks two birds with one stone.
I mentioned this before, but if any healers need to hit master 2100 job points, Limbus is a cheat code. You barely do any healing in there and get tons of exp in a short period of time.
That's the ultimate catch up mechanic for anyone looking to JP their jobs

wonder how much they regret adding the original kraken club to the game.
Zero. The rarity of Kraken Club alone keeps Beastmen's Seals relevant for decades. I'm sure they can query how many Kraken Clubs there are across all active characters since it was introduced, and there's likely a tiny fraction in circulation. If FFXI continues for another 10 years, Up In Arms BCNM will continue to get run daily by the hundreds. People can spend their login points endlessly on orbs to try for a chance at it.
The recent interest in it over the past half decade or so is due to all the gear creep and gameplay changes that has allowed for it to be accessible inn ilvl era (tons of acc+ gear, better food options, Job Points, MLs, etc). It wasn't this sought after prior to ilvl, and I'd argue it wasn't even super sought after shortly after ilvl. It became a recent craze due to player hype tbh (when I got mine, it was less than half of the price it is now, and that was less than 3 years ago).
Kraken Club has unintentionally become the most desired item for the longest period of time in the game, just because the players made it that desirable. It's introduction can be viewed as a huge success, IMO. They probably regret not introducing more of these kinds of ultra rare carrot-items to keep people chasing after them xD
i fully agree with regard to the rarity and status of the item, and for keeping content relevant.
Initially, though, they changed a large number of NM drops into r/ex versions to discourage people from camping the NMs 24/7 and selling drops. Unless I'm mistaken, kraken club was the only one where they changed the item itself into a much worse version of the original. I'm not saying kraken club is on the same level as peacock charm, ochiudo's kote, emperor's hairpin, leaping boots, etc. only that they were all adjusted at the same time.
They kinda had to. Imagine if they didn't and every single player now had an octave club that performed the exact same way as kraken. Super busted. They knew how broken that weapon was from the beginning, putting out a fake version and stuffing the original in a bcnm with god awful drop rates was the smart thing to do. Of course they couldn't have anticipated kraken being usable over a decade later; I don't believe ilvl was anywhere close to being in the plans at the time, but even for that era, it was broken. But it was only a toy then because most jobs couldn't land any hits with it, so it was fine for the time. The revival of kraken was just an unintended side effect of iLvl scaling. They made out like a bandit with that weapon

Weird, the leafkin plushy is there on the NA store but not kclub.
I believe that's Eri-san in the picture.

everything in SE merch store is expensive :)

A) the server is monetizing or profiting off SE’s content
Speaking from experience here, nobody is making money running private servers. You lose money. You're doing it because you love the game. The one I ran was a money pit even though we "monetized" via Patreon for a while since that money just got dumped directly into an account that all of our miscellaneous hosting costs withdrew from. For a large server (500+ players) the demand to have 24/7 dedicated hosting puts you in a situation where you're pretty much forced to pay for dedicated hosting and that isn't cheap.
Totally I agree with that. I suppose what I mean was like... they are less inclined to step in(even though they could) if you weren't making money off the IP itself. It's part of the reason HXI doesn't ask for donations from the community.

Limbus good for low-level MLs too. I took an ML1 DD job to Limbus, they are now ML15 or so after a half dozen runs maybe.
You get about 20-30K EP an hour at CL130 without corsair roll.

They had Eri-san the VA advertise it for them.

Just to add to it, only 1/1000 orders should get a kclub when ordered, so it can be chased IRL too.

I've been doing Climbs at 126. SAM+RDM+Sylvi,Ulmia,Ygnas. I can still kill most everything with mumeix3. I've tried most every level, 119-122 you fall way behind on the weekly cap and 130 seems best in a full party.

PLD doesn't have much trouble with VE generation, does it? It's too bad it isn't 900 CE or something.
