Its always a benefit to have a positive video about the game, so it doesn't hurt and I enjoyed hearing their perspective.
Their comments about any PS game that have gone all the way to the bottom make them look irrelevant. |

I always assume these fluff videos are done for "content" or growing subs, usually from xiv players just doing some nostalgia bit. So they usually dont stick around, which is okay. Its always a benefit to have a positive video about the game, so it doesn't hurt and I enjoyed hearing their perspective. I couldn't help but think the voice is AI but who knows these days.

I agreed that they shouldn't even comment on retail related videos.
I think whoever created that video is no XI fan so I don't think she will last that long.
Look at the locked thread in the PS subforum for an example.

Is there a personal reward for killing ultima and omega or is it just the server wide bonus for the box upgrades.
Just server wide afaik. I was there for both on bahamut and got nothing and didn't hear of anyone else getting anything. |

Last time I saw that much death in a single area was probably some early Mireu fights and before they changed spike flail in DI. Was also giving me some early Beseiged vibes. Tractoring and raising on WHM was fun. The death toll on Asura made even the worst ever Mireu fights look like a cuddly teddy bear. Tanks were getting blasted for 5K+ with the rest of us. And usually the fetters would spawn in a large enough range to collapse multiple alliances in seconds. Pretty much be prepared to eat a lot of floor tiles on this one |

FWIW... when you do an aoe Phy WS(eg shockwave) with the ampulla it will consume 1k gil per mob hit
Yep this is because multi-attack is calculated for each target separately. This is very visible on MNK spinning attack when you do it with some QA/TA/DA, some targets get hit for 5k, some 10k, some 15k and some 20k. |

You idle in it for the pet DT, not the geomancy (you don't have to idle in geomancy gear, it's potency is applied on cast with your midcast set)

The monstrosity shops tell you which jobs you beat maat for real? that's interesting Yeah, there's an Instinct sold for each job. If you haven't beaten Maat on that job, the base price is 10,000 Infamy. If you have, the price drops to 5,000.
(also works for the non-Maat jobs, obviously - if you've done the ToAU/WotG/Adoulin limit breaks, same thing) |

Means what Dynamis zone has the current active treasure bonus, and what volte set is from said zone. |

Speaking of Monstrosity, you get 10% of your xp as Gladiator Prestige when you have the writ of summons and go to one of the three PvM zones. That means you need to farm 500k xp to cap, which is about 2k kills.
BLM isn't doing it for me. I see two paths:
1. PUP
2. Use a mule to farm Infamy, then kill it to convert to prestige

Well, bug report submitted. Whether SE does anything about it is another matter. But... the attempt was made. Dont know if you're aware, but it got moved to insufficient information lol
Not "unable to verify" or "working as intended" either I saw it, but.. I dunno wtf to do about it. I thought I was pretty detailed, and followed the template. Maybe I should have written out idiot level instructions. What specific pieces of gear to swap, etc? I dunno. If they can't see something as blindingly obvious as taking damage instead of not with a fresh sentinel up... I'm not sure I can help them.
This isn't some esoteric arcane mystery like the 99k Mijins were.(Even to the very end, we didn't figure out part of the trigger conditions.) It's consistent, easily observable, and easily reproduced.
EDIT: I dunno, maybe I should have broken each factor into its own report? Pain in the *** though. SE makes reporting issues.. extremely annoying. And for all I know, these could all be aspect of the same issue. It's all related to physical damage. You have to find a Japanese player to make the report on the JP side. |

Were you already at max fame in that area? If yes then repeat quests should also give a rank increase, presumably at a low rate.
Things like millioncorn and the Norg fame repeat quests are good things to test this out with.
