I ran a Ps2 controller and Ps2 controller usb adaptor, worked like a charm.
stupid FF made me destroy (wear/tear) about 4 controllers

in the meantime try to imagine now with twice as many *** crammed into the same spaces... feel yourself drowning in a sea of humanity unable to escape. there are twice as many cars on the road since I learned how to drive and in that same time things like manors, courtesy, patience...they're all gone. they're just memories now.

everywhere you go, everywhere you look, everywhere you see all of these people twice as many people blocking up the isles with their shopping carts, pushing, shoving, clamoring, yelling.

did you know that in the seventies it was rare to see a fat man, there was probably like one in every neighborhood. maybe there were two in ours, big old beer bellied butts of every joke.

but now it's everyone. twice as many people and they are all double the size in a world made for half as many people at half the size.


I saw a triple wide wheelchair the other day.

they had the regular wheelchairs, you know, the kind that have been around and the same size for the last four hundred years they are kind of all nested together like disused old shopping carts in the corner and and then they got a few of the double wide wheelchairs left...and then they has this thing that you could probably wheel a hippopotamus around in if you could get him or her to sit still long enough...

Friday night: FFXI is installed, bluetooth receiver bought. sweet titties. I decide to imbibe a fair amount of alcohol and frame / hang the new door to my son's room. decide best not to PC drunk, and go to bed early-ish.

Sat morning: wake up waaaaaaaaayyy to ***' early and doddle about town for a couple hours, then set to hooking up my controller to play ffxi. chimichanga catches wind of what I'm up to so I run out there to help him install / get his controller running. blammo no problems out there, ok back to my house by 2pm. no matter what I *** did, I couldn't get that ps4 controller to run on ffxi. ffxi config everything worked perfectly, ingame, super lag to the point of non-functioning in the square triangle O and X buttons. W T F.

long story short and lots of fighting later, 10pm-ish, I figure out it's a windows 10 issue, in that the OS makes playonline viewer and the bluetooth dongle dip into "low priority" and attempts to set to "high priority" only last 5-10 minutes at best before resetting. *** stupid windows 10.

ok well it's late, go to bed.
