Sounds like we should just do an omen boss challenge on each single job in the game just for the hell of it. Someone get Aragan to setup the rules and job requirements.

You know what's funny? People who don't even play eroge games AND they fight for other people's freedom to play very controversial kind of eroge games only because they feel they are oppressed by feminists, not because they are real eroge game player with their right being taken away. I don't play eroge games probably for the same reason I don't watch porn. They are visual, I'm into tactile. (If they ever come out with feeley porn I might be in trouble.)
But they are both free speech issues, or actually the same free speech issue and therefore worth defending.
So Visa/MC should get to decide what illegal sexual conduct is permissible to profit off of? This is the slippery slope i originally alluded to. Visa and mastercard are businesses, not governments. They have no interest in free speech, only profits. If they loose money from this, say because gamers switching to discover or another card, they will change their tune. |

Well I went with Idris. Seems like the item that will have the most impact. I debated on Nirvana as well, but SMN isn't what it was.
It's not "patience", it's a willingness to be controlled by mind numbing hoops you are made to jump through. Only a moron would feel accomplished for doing that.
Sound familiar? You just described every objective in every game in existance. Not at all. That's ridiculous. Tactical RPG take cognition and skill. "Run to ??? to touch it" is just wasting your life.
I only have one Mythic per char and I started with about 70k on them from doing Nyzul when it was cool (armor, weapons to get WS, etc.) so I didn't suffer that much. |

Just ran a quick Temenos w/ LS on Asura and we accidentally spawned the Temenos ??? RIGHT next to the chest in Central 4.
We didnt kill anything out of the ordinary. Like most groups, we ran all the mobs (grah + goblin + meeble + euvhi) from the entrance to the chest, slept them there and killed. After we killed about 3 KI's worth it popped
EDIT: if one of them was an NM, theres no way to know since it's not like we were /checking them.... I had assumed that the placeholder would be some random mobs outside of the normal route people take and that's why it was not spawning... but I guess this disproves that. Thanks for reporting but... why in the Sortie thread I wonder? °-°
That was my mistake haha. But yeah theres no dedicated thread for Temenos (due to rarity). I can shift it to Limbus thread, or yall can delete, up to you guys |

What kind of party composition?
What weapons and subjobs? I did a write-up on the video, but I'll repost it here.
MNK/RUN, MNK/DRG, COR/DRK, GEO/DRK, BRD/WHM, RDM/DRK. Open all bosses with Chi Blast except Thunder mode B/F bosses. Bring Panaceas, Remedies and Holy Waters to remove your own Curse, Paralyze, Bind, Gravity and Slow. H boss and Aminon should have only the MNKs on it. Every other boss the RDM, COR and GEO can help DD. Make sure your BRD has 1-2 Ballads and Refresh so they can spam Curaga III as they will be your main healer. MNKs should have 75 Subtle Blow in both TP and WS.
Run to D boss and aggro some Acuex along the way. Bring them to the Fomors near D boss room and do A objectives and D objectives at the same time. MNK1 opens Fusion or Light and the RDM and GEO burst the Acuex down. MNK2 does 4-steps on the Fomors with Shijin Spiral > Tornado Kick > Tornado Kick > Tornado Kick for something easy to remember. Kill D boss.
Run to the entrance porter and warp to C and start making your way counterclockwise: C > B > A taking care of objectives along the way. All bosses go down easy and objectives are simple to take care of.
After defeating A boss, run to H boss. SV/CC (Honor March, Madrigal, Aria, Minuet x2) and have your COR Cutting Cards them so SV/CC will be back up for Aminon. MNK1 alternates between Dragon Kick and Howling Fist and MNK2 alternates between Tornado Kick and Raging Fists to avoid the WS wall. If you're lucky and get good WSs in, H boss will die without unleashing any fetters. At most you'll have to deal with 1 set of fetters if you have bad luck with lack of multi-attacks on your WSs.
After defeating H boss, run to F boss. You should be able to make it to him and defeat him in the same set of SV songs you applied at H boss. Have your MNK/RUN apply Gelus or Tellus Valiance depending on the mode he's in. GEO does Bolster Barrier, Frailty and Entrust Fury. Gartell should go down pretty quick.
After defeating F boss, run to G boss. Defeat the Naraka along the way to be able to remove the Curse. MNK/RUN apply Lux Valiance at G boss. This is the fight your BRD is most likely to run out of MP on. Double check they have Ballads and Refresh to be able to keep up with cures.
After defeating G boss, run to E area. If you already have E temp item, move to Aminon. Otherwise defeat E boss first. We like doing Aminon before E boss so we can have SV/CC songs up for both. E boss is simple. Sulpor Valiance and go to town. If you fail to get the Metal from the Botulus, MNKs should be prepared to Chakra after Cesspool to avoid being 1-shotted by Clobbering Wave.
Aminon -
Buffs:
BRD: SV Honor March, Madrigal, Aria, Minuet x2. BRD Pianissimo Ballad themselves. Dark Threnody on Aminon.
RDM: Haste on everyone, Refresh on everybody but the MNKs. Frazzle, Dia 3 and Paralyze on Aminon.
COR: Samurai Roll and Chaos Roll on the MNKs and Caster's Roll on themselves. Make sure they can reach a 12 second Absorb-TP recast.
GEO: Widened Compass Blaze of Glory Ecliptic Attrition Geo-Fury (goal is to affect the MNKs but be out of range of Aminon's auto attacks), Indi-Frailty, Entrust-STR on MNK and Entrust-Focus on COR. COR can Wild Card if Random Deal fails to reset Entrust as it's never necessary at any point in the run.
Like with H boss, MNK1 alternates between Howling Fist and Dragon Kick and MNK2 alternates between Raging Fists and Tornado Kick. You can throw in Victory Smites as well if Impetus is up. Alternate Penance to keep it up full-time. Turn around while it's down for safety. RDM, GEO and COR should make sure their Absorb-TP recasts are at 12 seconds. Space your Absorb-TPs out as close to 4 seconds apart as you're able to. He should go down in 5-6 mins.
That's about it. I'm happy to answer any other questions viewers may have about our run. |

I like the Ergon requirements.
Weeds out the impatient, that would not make good Geos or Runs anyway.

If you don't like it, use JCB and buy games on DLsite with vpn. Then visa/MC will lose power on this matter.
Entity with wealth distribution right always gets power over another. That's how human society works. Plus they also have the moral high ground here. Visa/MC isn't the only entity that uses their wealth distribution power to enforce certain policy.
Either way, if you aren't eroge game players, whatever policy that they enforce don't affect you. I don't understand the reason to fight for it if you aren't affected. Sounds like you are just mad because someone else has power, not because you are personally affected. |

It was doing this to people last time the temenos one was up on bahamut too. I'm not really sure what the logic behind it is as some people were able to get it and some people weren't. I assume it's bugged in some way just not sure how exactly.

Thats weird. we just swung by there and grabbed the points. You shouldn't "need" anything to get it. Only time you're supposed to get that msg is if you snagged it already. Or last week when the emergency maint moved the apolly one on asura.

Something you find it untolerable may be tolerable for some and vice versa. |

Asura Temenos ??? is currently near chest on Central F4.
However, clicking on it, I get "There is nothing out of the ordinary here". I don't understand why - I have completed multiple Temenos runs and have 3 grace effects. What else do I need? I have never obtained Temenos units from this ??? previously.

To add to this, I was raw dogging points in Apollyon last night on the 3rd bug floor, pulling everything and killing it, and about 30 minutes or so in the ??? appeared right smack in the middle of the floor. |

Are any of the Ethereal weapons worth upgrading with the Moogle Iris? I've literally seen nobody mention them... probably because of the rarity.
If you got a rank1 on a mule/alt that also has a bonanza weapon kupon please please please get a weapon and upgrade it to lord it over all us plebs tell us if the upgraded weapons are any good. |

I didn't know what they were called. I like the idea of having possibly a 1 of item in the game. But like you said, none of them seem exceptionally worth it, especially the upgraded version. They don't even get a white box or anything.

Ergons really arent that bad, idk why people are hung up on it and hell when you finished one the other is basically 70% completed already as you just gotta get the monetary grind(of which is just hp bayld cause you can copper voucher through all of the stones) + delve grind that covers both the mats you need and pays off the cost of hp bayld in the process
Assignments arent any worse than the other bunch of dailies out there if you wanna go that route, or just burn them all at one time then come back in a few days
