SE has kind of ignored crafting gear ever since the introduced the shields. It would be nice to see more crafting gear. Maybe another piece or two of HQ+ gear.

Kinda depends on your server, on cerb there's 2.8k(ish) active characters, if 10 people with 15 alts reactivates them all then it jumps to 3k and that's a noticeable difference, and 10 people doing it is not a difficult thing to happen.

If they were using the database on this site to *** player counts, that information requires AH transactions to count players. I highly doubt people are dumping stuff on the AH from all 15 mules.

IDK...It looks like you're saying the player counts are skewed because of this thing...that 1% of players are doing.

IMO, it's less than 1%. I'm sure there are some people who are logging in 16 mules every day, and doing AMAN trove on 16 mules, and doing Ambu on 16 mules every month...but it's not even remotely close to the normal experience.

Since it's such an outlier situation, it feels really strange, to me, to point to it as a reason why the player count would be high. It's like a rounding error in the grand scheme of things.

If you look at some of the other jobs, down at the bottom Sel adds in buff state modifiers.

So if you wanted to have certain pieces of gear equipped when Valiance or Vallation are up, you would stick that in the sets.buff.Valiance and sets.buff.Vallation lines down at the bottom, I expect.

I really wonder how many people actually have 16 active mules. Either these forum members have an exaggerated opinion of the situation or I have a freakish sample size of friends in game. I think I know 1 person with 16 characters on their account. It might honestly be 0 though. It's certainly nowhere remotely close to the majority. Its the vast, vast, vast minority in my experience.

For synthesis/fishing skills, I wonder if it is an 'all or nothing' sort of situation where in order to get crafting-related experience to help boost up your rank you need to complete the category perfectly, i.e. crafting shield, all fish caught, synergy, choco digging maxed, plus the traditional crafting 110/subs 70.

Such a convoluted system. I've posted again on the JP forums asking for clarity not on what directly influences one's rank, but instead asked them to confirm what does NOT influence one's rank. Linkie. Vote me up on the last post!

Caught all of the fish at Fisherman's Heart (164 total) and nothing new happened. No rank up to 9 still. I had hopes though.

Worth noting these quests show if you trade the real empyrean to get the weapon skill unlock. I only have 2 unlocked but one of them was with an actual Almace and it shows the sword quest here for me

Not super interesting, but 1 Expeditionary Force completion, got me the title "Expeditionary Trooper" and got 2 of my alts from Rank 5 to Rank 6 (1 has 297 completed RoE, and the other 300; However a 3rd alt with 340 RoEs completed is still at Rank 5).

Personally, I think RoE completion only matters by way of getting a title ...but might as well check the box now, right?

This statement is absurdly vague. No, 'certain interactions' don't trigger automatic flags. If the addon is implemented correctly, the server cannot distinguish it from a legitimate use. I've had automatic med buying from curio since the moogles were released and not been acted on. If that was the cause, it's likely his addon had errors.

If the intent isn't to fearmonger, why PM the email instead of just sharing it openly? Obviously people can draw their own conclusions as to whether it's legitimate or not, but the whole thing just doesn't smell right to me.

That is true, but usually it's pointless, because 5 is not enough to cap with one Kendatsuba+1 piece, unless it's a Kenda Body, but then Schere > Sherida.

Yes actually I was, I had a tool that would automatically buy meds from the moogle to restock for Sortie. Why do you ask ?

According to BG, the cap is 50 for both SBI and SBII for a combined total of 75, so you could use all 4 alleviating the SBI requirement by 5.

Can you show the email? I never heard or seen a SE support email notifying you getting banned stating it can lead to further legal actions.
