Honestly, the doc wanted blood at 8;30am, and said no coffee or food or whatever 12 hours prior, so I was waffling (speaking of references no one got) on whether or not to skip out on my bedtime cereal and keep playing until whenever, or eat my bedtime cereal and go to bed early. well then I remembered I had to get up early and take kids to school anyway, so the latter won out, but instead of explaining all that gibberish, I opted for the easy route and bold-faced lied to my comrades.

Pfft I've enjoyed my freedom since I first moved out. My first taste of freedom was buying an entire chocolate cake and eating it for dinner.

And you know what?

Greatest decision of my life.

Know what I did today? Had chocolate cake for breakfast.

Well yes because someone brought it into the office... but also because I AM AN ADULT! THE ADULTIEST OF ADULTS!

of course it's weak. because if you are honest with yourself you really only wanted the dessert in the first place anyways, it's cheaper than the meal, it's better than the meal and the only reason you ate the meal is your mom told you couldn't eat dessert until you finished your dinner first....

The only thought I have against it is I sometimes take not eating dessert as a sign that I was meant not to spend extra money past the dinner. But even that's weak. lol

it's the best. for a number of reasons. if the dessert sucks then what are the chances anything else is going to be any good. and if you get too full because you went to a typical american mammoth portion place and don't have room then you miss out on the best part of the meal. and if the dessert is ginormous and awesome then what's the point of eating anything else anyways. life is too short to miss dessert even once.
