Happened to 3 members of our ls.
Two different events, 2 different days (yesterday dyna, today vagary), and they always d/c together at the same time.
Two of them are not even from the same country.

Sandworm and Ixion was all. Earlier expansion had more than just a sprinkling of NMs to keep people busy.

ToAU would have sucked if it were just Cerberus, Khimaira and Hydra. WotG had no salvage, no einherjar... or any other semblance of something that would be called endgame. Just my pennies.

Ixion + Sandworm are not content
but
KB + Fafhogg + Aspid are content

I'm not saying Sandworm and Ixion weren't HNM, just that it wasn't what anyone who was involved in endgame at the time would call 'content'.


Also, voidwalk and voidwatch were just before and just after the uncapping IIRC. Pretty sure the adjustment that changed HNM from timed to forced spawn was right around that time as well. RIP

Found a stupid Typo that i did not see the first 2 times I looked through it.

i should also have fixed cordinates for all Abyssea mobs which is just a nice way of handling trades nothing changes functionality wise

I keep getting error code FFXI- 4001 no connection. Or the other error code that is connection based. I get them all the time now, I have a feeling its some kind of addon doing it

Joke is on you guys. Mythic weapons were released more than a year after WotG, so they are the WotG ultimate weapons.

WotG had the wacky evolith system and corresponding Cobalt Ore weapons.

WotG didn't have any endgame, so it's hard to imagine that there was any plan to add more ultimate weapons. That and the fact that the people who had been dedicated since the beginning were barely finishing their weapons by then. People weren't dripping in REM back in the day like they are now.

I hope it isn't done its only been like 5-6 episodes

They need to upgrade relic so I can use my Gutler more often. I am so sad that with all the buffs, the best it can do was like half of Calamity or less. I mean, I am not looking for anything too awesome, just a bit extra like 120% the damage instead of a measley 68% buff.

I think SE has always committed to delivery and "finishing" content in 9-12 months.

I think what has changed since 2014 (SoA) is that SE now releases content with some headroom. It gives SE the chance to return to refresh content and direct players to it: like Delve 2, Domain Invasion revisions, Divergence RP, etc etc. In these situations, SE returned to these areas with updates in 1.5-2 years.

Sortie is on year 3, and needs something fresh.

So, I do agree with your point. Things feel stale. (We have had prime weapons for 3 years but no content to really use them on)

I don't think we fully understand what is the limitation there.
Someone suggested each player has an internal 72hrs cd, so if you get a ??? then it moves but 72hrs haven't passed since last time you git, you will not be able to get the new one.

It's just a theory. Go and check what happens to prove it wrong or right!
