100% agree, it would be healthy to shift the mage gameplay away from "tons of gear + good lua". It's a fun minigame on its own but if they're not going to add 1st party support to it, it feels like a waste of energy from everyone involved.

It needs to be a lot more than 4 days for me to even consider it.

I left out tanks because usually someone will have those, may not be great at it cause they wanna dd but its dd-adjacent and both run and pld, pld especially can get up to speed with minimal effort.

Whm i agree its just something id see often. Its dumb its what new players can get bombarded with, starting off in tank/support is mmo standard, you fill in the more desireable slots until you get your gear/find a group to let you join in with the dps class bloat most have. XI partly by its dedign and just skewed idea by players makes that entry role a hurdle in itself

Always seemed the issue isnt that people dont wanna play support, they just dont want to put in all the work to be "passable" at it, which has gone well above what a new player would be expected to do. Cor is the best compromise(not exactly support but still) but thats also what everyone has as a baseline.

Brd needs its 2-4 remas, geo needs an idris, whm needs a yag etc. Dead horse but its a recurring player created problem

My argument is always that player that wants to clear content should be able to bring at least one, preferably more than one, job that is appropriate for clearing that content.

DD being their only job only limits their own ability to clear the content they want to clear.

Given that, and the ongoing since 75 cap and still continuing shortage of support jobs, I am going to go with - lack of support jobs directly contributes to multiboxing.

Fight me for it if you disagree (not really).

No one wants to play support jobs, but all the support job roles are held by someones multibox.

Discord mobile has become a buggy mess, please assist.
The keyboard no longer tracks with the app and hides the text you are editing or sometimes even typing.
Some of my servers say they need channels created when they already have plenty and are active.

Have to force close the app multiple times a day and it sounds like I am not alone.

Discord desktop crashes a lot or just stops writing to the window visually.

Of course it is. But clearing even older content needs support jobs.

LS does dyna D. LS members want clears so they can augment and request w3 boss. Leader says great, for w3 we need one core party whm brd cor tank dd dd. Anything else is extra bonus.

Guys that need clears all jump to be the dd. Leader says everyone and their mother has a decent dd. Do we have any bards, whms or tanks capable of doing w3?

Or just stop playing all jest jobs and pretend you need all Nyame B for them. I switched helm to A and nothing really changed to me, beside having less damage with mostly niche magic WS on few jobs.

Let's take the attack penalty off weaponskills that still have it for a start. While we are at removing things... let's remove the rare tag off Nyame so we can do all the paths or make Malignance all jobs instead.

I would REALLY like to see fixes addressed at the base level, and not with gear.

Today in sortie for Casket B1, I was able to replicate the issue.

Step 1: clear all of A normal objectives on foot (everything but boss)

Step 2: proceed to B on foot, passing through D fomor rooms shortcut, so I qualify for Chest B5

Step 3: go straight to bitzer+device and get Chest B2+B5, click both device and bitzer

Step 4: teleport down to basement F and do empy lockstyle clear, and come back to B

Step 5: step out and kill the entire fire elemental room. Most of my kills were sub 15s. I acquired Chest B3, but Casket B1 never spawned.

Step 6: Now for the test, leave back to bitzer b and teleport to d

Step 7: toss my wing for Chest d2

Step 8: warp back to b, respawn wing

Step 9: go back out and kill elementals

Step 10: kill 1 elemental slow, then 1 sub 15s, and Casket b1 spawned

This is making me think so.ething related to teleporting is necessary for Casket b1

I think it makes sense as a clever trick since the same wing has Chest b5, which aasks you to not teleport.

I expect anyone teleporting counts, so if people split up the condition always is satisfied so ppl don't notice

Keep the bonus from gifts, traits, ect., but remove fast cast from gear. Shorten the base cast time of all current spells to be more in line with the haste cap era.


I get that people like to obsess over gear, but beyond a certain point; you're carrying around armor to compensate for lazy development. Way past due for an update.

Especially odd since they lay out how each AF piece is obtained, but with no context for how you actually flag the quest, NPC to talk to, etc.

Like, anyone who needs to consult this chart to know that you get your DRG AF weapon by doing a quest is not getting a ton of valuable information when they see:
