Cardinal is MB2
|
|
 |
|
I did some Cardinal Chant testing for Galero +3 (weirdly, not always a perfect +100%) and the dependency of potency on direction.
I'll try to go back and do MBB later because that's obviously the most important one.
Also, I have a long-held belief that they just messed up the magic crit implementation. I think they intended it to be multiplicative with other magic damage terms instead of being additive with MAB. I'm more curious... how does it scale with mixed directions?
Like if the monster is SE from you, how is the game mixing Macc and Mab?
Which angle tolerance is there to receive the full bonus of a direction, when does it start to scale and how much etc?
I know difficult stuff but I wonder if anybody ever tested that.
Afaik SE never gave official info about this particular situation, did they?
Side note: what do you mean that Galero+3 can be the BiS head for nuking during Magic Burst? I assume you mean that it autocaps MBB1 alone, so you can focus exclusively on MBB2 in the other slots?
Then again there's not a lot of options out there I'm afraid.

We've gone from enough medals to make two pieces of +2 gear, to enough to make half of one. Pointless. It will also drive prices down, at least in the short term, so there is benefit past what you individually get.
Smart implementation would have been to not do medals at all, just make it a voucher that you give Aurix to satisfy the shard requirement for any one +2 piece. No meddling with the market, super easy to springboard players into early Dynamis gear. Would have taken someone like twenty minutes of copy/paste coding though, so obviously not a realistic possibility. This would still have been the better option. They could have made it 900 points or whatever to keep their original 300 pt ratio, and made it EX.

This is kind of disappointing news. I Mean, yeah, 300 points for a medal would have been bad, but now 750 points for a medal just defies usefulness. We've gone from enough medals to make two pieces of +2 gear, to enough to make half of one. Pointless.

Some cards can get 5 or more alternate art treatments in 1 set now. wow .... Maybe I won't blow $450 for the art.
You thought M:TG stood for Marjory Taylor Green?
No... I thought it was cheap youtuber content creator bait, is all. I don't Utube, I therefore can't see the connection, sorry.

Hey Keylestra, Loving this addon and just wanted to report a minor bug I found with the latest version.
I have <show_self_action> set to FALSE, but it's still showing a mini-cast bar for my own spells, without any wording. And the green cast bar sticks around on the screen afterwards permanently.
 Oooh good catch, thank you!
This is such a well made addon and it's being very actively maintained. Hats off to the dev. You've really outdone yourself. Thank you so much for the kind words ^^;

300 points for 700k, or 600 points for a kraken club
you're dumb if you take the medals
wut
I have no idea what this guy is talking about, either.
It's 600 points for 60 beastmen's seals! Yes because Kraken Club has such a high drop rate, everyone has one lol

Wow, they actually took notice and fixed it before the rollout, lol.
Still, I find it incredibly weird that they value ONE AF Armor Job Card and a Beastmen's Medal at the same amount of login points.

$200 per Play Booster Box
$70 per Commander deck
$450 per Collector Booster Box Collector Booster Box?? How is this different from the Play Booster Box? (It has been awhile.)
What a stupid and misleading title... You thought M:TG stood for Marjory Taylor Green?
Yeah, Final Fantasy expansion followed by a LEAKED. 100% puts the stress on 3 letters most people here don't know anything about. You would be the first gamer I met who hasn't at least heard of Magic: the Gathering.
I thought the title was clear. "M:TG Final Fantasy expansion LEAKED!" So does everyone else posting ITT.

There was a video I watched where a dev was complaining about his career in IT/CS.
Complaining because he started this riad because he loved gaming, but never made into game developer team, and his authoral games were doing poorly.
He said that, if his only scope was gaming, then he would be broken but he managed to publish few courses and manage the basic income for him.
That made me wonder. My current and previous work kinda forced me to study many technologies that are more focused for enterprises, not gaming or other common field. I mean, developing things for a popular field/technology has lower entry barrier. For example, making games with any framework probably will have many others trying to do the same, because you just need to have a child dream to engage in that.
While managing an agule project using Github seems more niche, so not everyone will try to learn it, leave alone making a course out of this.
I actually searched for one, but the thing is, Github searches will be more biased to its repository functions instead of his project module.
Considering Im studying a bit of it to complete my current task, adding a little more effort, could probably make a course and use it as a passive income.
Sure, its niche, but if Im already learning, why not try to get the most of this time invested?

Who the *** makes a coffee at 11pm????? A caffeine addict.
Back in my uni days, one of things I liked the most is the "midnight coke" when I used to wake up aat that time and... drink a cup of Coke!
About making coffee at 11pm, I dont make them at that time, because I have them already made at this point.
But if Im awake, probably Im drinking a cup of it. I usually drink one at 9pm, thats 1h before my usual sleep time. Like this one.
When I was a caffeine addict it was pepsi. I would drink it first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Not to mention in between. Nasty stuff.

For those who are curious, these cards are from the leaked Starter Decks for the upcoming FF Magic set, coming out on June 13th this year.
Starter Decks are targeted at kitchen table casual players and the rares are included are unique to these decks only (but they are usually very low power level and not sought after). The commons / uncommons are almost always found in the main set as well with a few extreme exceptions over the years.
That all being said, this leak is due to WotC shipping out some boxes early in error to several areas (Brazil, Spain, etc). An email was shown online from WotC asking some suppliers to send some boxes back as they were sent in error. So far only these decks are spoiled but I expect we will see a slow trickle of full set leaks right up to the beginning of June. WotC does official spoilers about 2 weeks ahead of a set releasing, so that all lines up. Unofficial spoilers usually try to "one-up" WotC once they start rolling their stuff out.

Given the PLD Empy AF bugfix, and the implication here, we should just commit to submiting X number of bug reports each week and re-brand the website from FFXIAH, to FFXIQA.
Come on Rooks, change the banner! :)

Is crashing the medals market really a bad thing tho.
What's the problem with botted medals. Oh no, they're now worth very little gil. And?
Sir, please. Sit DOWN. -_-;

It invalidates w1 of dyna-divergence, which gets little enough attention as it is. I'm not saying a whole lot of people go in and kill boss for medals, but it's an extra prize for doing a quick in-and-out boss for someone. People farming W1 creates shards at a cheaper rate than medals and provides a secondary market.
Is it really that much better to have a handful of RMT sitting on 50,000 medals and providing all of them at 300k/pop so you can upgrade easily? Why not make everything worth very little gil? For that matter, why not make a NPC that lets you select which r/ex pieces you'd like and get them for free?
I say this as one of the people who would've been botting it.

Oh no this new thing is too good. I think that there's a difference between 'too good' and invalidating parts of content that should still be worthwhile.
1 medal per 500 login points means someone with a good bot can make 7000 medals per char this month. 1 medal per 501 login points means price will drop considerably and availability will spike. The latter is good, the former goes a bit past 'too good'.

Day zero players need login points for genkai
I'd LOVE the removal of genkai, but yeah. Could also remove seals from genkai. Could also give free seals on day zero log in. There's answers. Just no good ones.
(25 seals is like 3 hours of play give or take, with some wiggle for the wrong seals dropping)
I haven't heard the word Genkai used in a over a decade, but this hit me right in the feels. F those guys who decided to use LB1, LB2, etc etc. I'm going to this feeling of nostalgia just pass over me like a wave.
Also: {Master Level} {Genkai} {Team Up?} {Can I have it?}

That page doesn't mention the fact that Virtue Stone weapons can proc on WS too, unlike the other forms of follow up attacks in the same category, or am I misremembering?
