No, not really. Reasoning models are pushing close to "intelligence" though.

I'm not mad. I understand that being a troll is a cry for help. Dial 988. That's the suicide help line. There, you can get help and find someone to talk to. We care about you and don't want to see you hurt yourself.

its not a valid question ? you r already look'n to bail on those people you already got together ?

Since the question is on acc, what are your wsacc averages.

Currently having this debate among my group as well (triggered by this conversation of course), but I think the "wsacc average" is a tough metric to use because BH, SB, Dagda are all multi-hit, so you can easily be missing a hit (or more, with multi-attacks), your WS accuracy would still show 100% on a parser. Especially with Temper II on RDM you are very likely to have 3+ swings on your WS and can easily miss some hits without it showing a miss.

That said, I'll throw a shout-out to Grunfeld Rope as a good belt option for Black Halo that I haven't seen mentioned, I use it over Sailfi+1 for extra acc/atk. Lose 10 STR, but mostly that only impacts the mod because you gain 20 attack so attack-wise it's actually a significant gain.

you "gain" 20 attack but really you gain 0, because Sailfi has 15 attack (depending on your Unity) and 10 more STR (7 attack).

Grunfeld has:
13-14 accuracy (incl. DEX)
-3% DA
-2% TA
-10 STR
-2 ATK

So...if you really need an accuracy swap it's...fine...but it's definitely a significant drop in every other relevant stat compared to Sailfi.

this not memey enough for you?

They still let you screw with the shape of your face, but that's never been the cut of my jib.

In original Oblivion the shade of your skin itself had a slider and a lot more that influenced it, and you could make Orcs look really similar to Dremoras that way.

I had Orc in the original who was mostly blacker than deepest night, save for his nose/eyes and a couple other spots where the dark red really showed up. He really looked like he could pass for a Dremora.

Now your skin options are kinda memey, cause you can make your skin purple/pink/blue/puke green etc. But once out of the character creator the game adjusts them slightly.

Like if you pick orange in CC, then actually start the character, take their shirt off and BAM they're like the color of milk chocolate.

For RNG on old content, Dyna-D, segs, etc., it's totally viable and sometimes your best dmg output option from what I've experienced.

If you have Naegling and a K-club, you should definitely try DRG/dnc for fun shenanigans. Jump + Savage evaporates stuff so quickly it feels like you have a delete button.

Totally right, I forgot about DRG, used to do segs with a buddy on DRG that had one with me on RNG, we were always neck and neck on scoreboard (similar play styles).

I tried a bunch of WAR/NIN and WAR/DNC Klub offhand builds with Farsha and stuff, nothing really ever came close to fencer builds or even just GS/GA setups.

Full Acc set for Frazzle/Distract 2 you DO NOT full acc Frazzle/Distract 3.

This looks like a great learning opportunity for me. Based on the Frazzle III wiki page:

Notes

This spell reduces the target's magic evasion based on dMND and Enfeebling Skill with this formula:
Potency = [Floor(6/21)(Enfeebling Skill - 205)] + Floor(dMND/5); where dMND/5 caps at 0 and 10.
Lowest value at ±0 dMND compared to enemy: 0
Highest value at +50 dMND compared to enemy: 10
When Enfeebling Magic skill is 625, players will reach the highest value of -120 magical evasion. The value from MND above will be added to this.
Caps at -130 magic evasion.
This spell has an innate magic accuracy bonus of +150.
Unlike most other black magic spells, this spell relies on player dMND to target dMND for magic accuracy correction rather than dINT.

My Enfeebling Magic Skill in my Enfeeble set is 583 at ML 42. I feel like I have a pretty solid Enfeebling set (for the gear I actually own). Is it the innate 150 M.Acc that adds to the Enfeebling skill to push it over 625? Or am I not understanding it correctly? I ask because I'm trying to understand why I wouldn't use M.Acc set for Frazzle or Distract 3.

You want to be going all in on MND/potency/duration while getting the highest possible enfeebling skill of 625 which can be done! Most of the potency and duration gear do come with decent amounts of Macc just not the absolute highest. If you are having trouble landing either Distract/Frazzle III you can then use a full macc set for Frazzle II which has a lot lower enfeebling cap at 350, which you can cap without gear, and then you have an extra -40 meva and -50 with high enough MND.

Just for reference the Frazzle/Distract MAX POTENCY set in the RDM guide "Anything you can do, i can do better" has 623 enfeebling skill with Mlvl50, 8/8 merits and without a main/sub. With a r15 Contemplator +1 and Mephitis Grip you can reach the enfeebling cap as low as Mlvl 27. In a full macc set you would losing potency+48 and +25% duration.

ItemSet 391011

This is the set from the guide, which has all the potency gear as well as +60% duration.

Forgot to answer the question: the innate +150 macc is just macc and not skill so you need to get the 625 skill in actual skill.

That is my standard Enfeebling set with two small differences. Let. Earring +2 instead of Malignance, and My Obstinate Sash is not augmented enough, so I have Rumination. Everything else is the same.

Yup.
it sounds to me like you have something save in profile 2 so Whenever you load it thats what you get and see in POL

I'll add a delete options to cleanup things faster, for people that might have gotten save/load confused

I'm on the fence about playing it since I never played the original. Every remake I've ever played deviated from the original so much or in ways which were significant and it ruined them.

Once people have played it, please let me know if it deviates enough to irk you.

With how strong weapons are now, is Kraken Club just a trophy these days, do DRKs still zerg in it, or is it just for like fun non-serious solo/party play?

Ever since the Souleater nerf, I don't think DRKs have zerg'd with K clubs in over a decade (someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I was a 7 REMA DRK and I never found it viable).

For RNG on old content, Dyna-D, segs, etc., it's totally viable and sometimes your best dmg output option from what I've experienced.

RDM Crocea/Klub is pretty nasty too, but I never really went crazy on RDM with it.

Since the release of primes, I have no idea where it has a place anymore tbh (I retired almost a year ago from ffxi).

I don't play any of the jobs that actually benefit from it. It was just my white whale.

It gave me a good night of "wait, dancer isn't on this? dropped!" dad jokes. Now I guess it's my bard club.

I keep gear out for MNK, THF, BRD, BLM, RUN, DNC and have SMN, SCH, GEO, and PLD gear squirreled away, so I'm truly about the worst person to get this club.

That's hilarious lmao. Getting k club drop truly feels like a "beat the game" accomplishment though. RNG savage blade/aeolian edge/flaming arrow/trueflight spam builds were some of my most fun things to do with that stick though, highly recommend if you ever get around to it!

One minor issue I've found: Swooping Zhivago doesn't seem to pull in the right picture. Ready moves are fine, it's just using the wrong image (the default Brave Hero Glenn, with little weak-to-frog Falkirk LMAO). I haven't encountered any issue with the handful of other pets I've tried out so far: Arthur, Randy, Bertha, Shizuna, Fargann.

Aha ! Good catch ! I actually did a typo in the image for Swooping Zhivago, there was a space between the two parts of the image name, and in game the Pet names are actually a single string so it wasn't finding a matching image and defaulting to Glenn.
If you manually remove the space between the two parts of the name from the image it should fix it.

I'm about to upload a fix to GitHub and also adding pet icons for some NQ jugs.

About the only other possible things I might suggest as a future improvement would be:
(1) A small notation with the ready moves to indicate type: blunt, pierce, slash, magic/element, buff (though perhaps that's trickier to implement than it may appear, would totally understand if it's something like the move names/charges get pulled in automatically through the move ID and would need manual editing to add more info)
(2) List ready move SC/MB properties, but I could see a reasonable argument against it due to adding more clutter.

Ah yes it would definitely be a cool idea, I'd need to find an elegant way of storing/pulling all that info for each ready move on the fly.

You can consistently kill it and still be relatively slow or have room for optimisation. That's the debate, optimisation.

Neither of the groups I run with struggle for time here. I don't really time the fights, but if forced to make a claim about them I'd say they're on the faster end of the spectrum not the slower end.

We had a run last week where we had a number of issues in the run. A disconnect due to a crash, some random deaths on B boss of all places, someone getting lost. Some idiot (me) telling the geo to bolster on F because he didn't think we actually had time to get to aminon due to the issues.

We went for aminon at the end anyway, pulled at ~4:30 on the clock. When we timed out he was at 17%. So I don't feel like we're struggling to optimize. We're also not struggling for damage output as that was without bolster.

Personally, I don't think either method is better or worse than the other. I don't think either is going to make or break a run.

After finishing Ilrusi Atoll today, I gave "Lost and Found" and "Desperately Seeking Cephalopods" a big update. I felt they needed better explanation and more information, so I hope they are more useful than they were.

With that done, I can safely say this is version 2.0 of the Solo Assault Guide! Please let me know if you feel anything is inherently wrong or may need a tweak. I'm happy with it though, and I hope it helps players with this old content for years to come. Cheers.
