I cannot wait to change from mithra to elvaan
I'm so excited I may actually pay to resub when it is released

it doesn't seem real to me
first of all I understand the majority just wanting to change but not having an ultimate character

then I think of my case
having an ultimate character as a mithra
doing all the work as a mithra
then just getting to switch to elvaan

having so much done i've come to the conclusion the game is completely different depending on your race
I fully believe different races get things easier and harder
soloing, party play, obtaining items, exp, everything
and to get to build to ultimate on one race then just get to entirely change races
could be placebo
things like taru is a better mage galka is a better tank elvaan has bad acc etc
then having that change the rate you get groups

if you've played taru for 15+ years then you can just change to galka
it's going to be a completely different game lol

I can't wait to see how much more acc i'll need to add to my tp set switching from mithra to elvaan
if it's going to be like 5 or 20

always been obsessed with high lvl elvaan bst but when I did level elvaan bst I found it so much more difficult than mithra bst
now I just get to have a mlvl 40 elvaan bst lol

already got mlvl 40 mithra bst I don't think I could mlvl 40 a second char for elvaan bst.

This is most likely referring to losing access to racial gear, or things like that.

I was out of the loop, but is there still the restriction of unlocking a single relic piece per zone midboss?

This is something I always considered super annoying, I wish maybe a four zone midboss and unlock all pieces for all jobs

It depends on the time you enter alot.
Also beeing EU having 200+ pings doesnt help.
(mudfish helps a bit i noticed , but not much)

They changed some stuff on the server some weeks back where it was noticably better but now its back to having 2-3s from pressing a button to something happening.

It is better when you enter in the morning when US are going to sleep and JP arent awake yet, but thats not always an option.

Unironically, /shutdown can help... if the game's running a bit slowly everywhere, like you have a second or two of delay between when you type or press a button and when the game registers it, that's something that you probably want to restart PlayOnline for. I'm not sure if it's a memory leak issue, or if it's connections getting unstable after a while or what, but it's a thing I know I've seen happen and haven't found any other fix for.

If your problem is just choppy framerate and things not loading promptly in certain zones, that's a different sort of issue and this probably won't help with that.

Go into misc and turn on pc armor display to static (players gear won't visually change anymore, saves some data), it helps a little. I think in Ody it's mostly congestion during prime time though.
