For everyone else's benefit - the final of pan-European football (soccer) competition Champions League will this year be between Paris St-Germaine FC (PSG), a team from Paris - France and FC Internazionale Milano (Inter), a team from Milan - Italy.

FC as in Football (Soccer) Club.

This competition happens once a year and the final is a one off. No rematches, no do-overs, no best of. 90min + extra time + penalties in case of draws.

I was rooting for Real Madrid, but between Inter and PSG, I think both teams have good stories to tell in the end.

Gonna expect for a match with lots of goals.

Rooting for PSG to win it, they have a very solid team. Though Inter are frighteningly good.

Private server players do not care about this forum at all, they have their own community discords and they stick to them.

The only people who care about this forum (from a game standpoint) are people who play retail. There is no greater community for FFXI and there never will be, each private server does not like each other because they see each other as competition and most retail players don't like seeing talk about ps.

Rogue One worked for me because it was a pretty bog-standard war movie that just happened to be in the Star Wars universe, as opposed to a lot of the current SW media, which is About Star Wars in some core way. I think the setting is amazing as a backdrop for telling all kinds of stories, but degrades real fast when the setting itself is important to the story.

Andor is a dichotomy lol. The story they're telling is compelling. All the extra ***around and inbetween the segments of story suck so hard.

Basically each private server has a discord dedicated to that community. Ffxiah is the ‘game-wide’ community server for retail XI for NA. So it’s understandable you would only get flak. I recommend just sticking to the discord server… this is why it comes across as intentionally antagonistic to people when posting private server stuff here.

But I agree with Rooks, I don’t think it should be banned on ffxiah.

It’s like a freedom of speech issue. We might not like what someone is saying, but they should be allowed to say it.

Imo andor season 1 is the best star wars series Disney has done. I even went into it with extremely negative disposition because felt like the character couldn’t possibly be developed enough due to the fact that his end was already canonized

Did you like Rogue One? If so, then yes, Andor is absolutely worth watching. It's a slow build by design. But the story it tells is amazing.
