Pretty sure Verethragna out-dds Godhands in total dmg. Mnk's white damage is a larger percentage of its overall damage compared to other jobs.
Was under the impression they were very close and vere surges ahead under impetus but the fw/non-impetus phase favored GH more overall. Cant go wrong with either one in any case

So rank 30 takes 1 matter to make the item then 30 matters to upgrade along with presumably an insane amount of points?
We can get at most 5 of each kind of matter a week but if drop rate is near 50% as has been suggested then we expact it will take aprox 12 weeks or 3 months before people are completing

Since RP to next level (1) is 1600) anyone has table of how new RP work?
How much 1 matter RP up a piece? and given drop rate from chest is not 100% + 5 chest per week .. OMG how long to do this??
Since we have to climb for the chest the temenos / apo unit will be overflow and utter usless? since we have limited amount of +3 to upgrade to +4 ...
I honestly think Intern-Kun in SE forgot MATH and build new system without realize it make many thing so pointless

So I did read it right.
To augment you need a Murky/Alabaster matter.
The first one is used to "craft" the item, following ones are used to "augment".
So I guess this means it's better to farm a lot of points and trade the matter for aug only when you have lotsa of them, or am I wrong?

It's unthinkable that units would not going to be shared eventually, I know multiple people who have already capped all their armor, and they need to keep the currency valid for longer - either through consumables, or other achievables. If it were only for armors, we'd complain about not having anything to use it on!
Now, is the current one the best way to do it? Probably not, but ranking up the items is gated by matter which, apparently, has a very sucky drop rate, so it's likely we'll have a surplus of units anyway and this won't necessarily be a big issue.

It will get better as the level goes up (more points/hr).
I still think this is a very bad design though, an error they did with Sortie already (Galli being shared between Primes and Empy) and I was honestly hoping they wouldn't have done again.
There were so many different approaches to fulfill their goal (making sure people feel involved in Limbus for a long time instead of dropping it after 2 months) but also keeping it a simple event for relaxed people.
The convoluted gating they created for weekly points was very, very, very interesting.
Shame they didn't get that creative again.

Continuing with the theme of arguing semantics, I don't think the current form of "AI" counts as having a discussion.
It's like using those old "psychologist" question/answer bots from way back and pretending the advice it gives you is sage.
It's just regurgitating stuff it found online, it's not some deep discussion about the merits of the human experience as evidenced by an artificial intelligence.
The "AI" does inherently have human bias since all its inputs and data comes from human behaviour. Its learning data is entirely human made, there is no originality in its data that was not produced or made by humans.

Yeah SE tends to make things in a way that gives expansion opportunities. Copper/Silver Vouchers can yield Gold/Platinum potentially. Mars/Venus Orbs can lead to Jupiter/Saturn Orbs....but with Alabaster/Murky ... I got nothing :/

Empyrean knuckles seems good, but also heard Aeonic are good aswell.

The point/gear upgrade grind can be made easier if they allow NMs to drop units commensurate with your contribution, and matter direct drops from NMs. Also, killing the Limbus mystery NM should reward bonus units or some status effect (like awakening) similar to killing the final wave 1 mob in DI

Depends on your race so need more info. I have found that WS and step range are the same for me though, or at least both are satisfactorily outside of melee range. Don't use distance addons so I can't even tell you the number for taru even if I wanted to, sorry.

This is perfectly valid. I can agree with that. For a 3 to 6 month project I want to work towards an upgrade rather than a space saver. Guess that's why we're all really in agreement on the earring.

Think the issue with the WS cape isnt that its maybe a shade under ambu capes... its the amount of effort you'd need to expend to get something that's a shade under what you already have. Maybe 30 matters isn't gonna be that much. See what the weekly average is. Then its down to how many units it is per rank. Id like to think you should be able to earn more units than it would cost to upgrade with 30 matters... but who knows. And if +5s come out down the road, those are gonna be costly. Earring tho easy easy winner.

most importantly, if you're doing zerg method is that the DD's tp and ws set stay within 100 hp. same as the caster casting/idle set needs to come w/ in 100 hp.
what tends to happen is peoples idle/tp sets push hp 300-500 over casting/ws sets and it ends in deaths. whether it be from not having that 250 hp on that stupid moonbeam you swapped to on idle or unlucky mid cast when timber goes off.
Also, some of us used Poseidon's Ring for Water Spirit pet.

The enmity -10 on the cape kinda kills it.
Maybe, but you can be creative. All Jobs WSD cape that comes with -10 enmity that you can build off of. Make "All jobs-enmity reduction" WS sets, for times when you want to generate reduced hate on WS (Novia Earring, Kuchekula Ring, etc). I've used a variant of sets like this for certain ambu fights in tandem with High Jump. Not an amazing stat, but it has a use if you're into that kind of set building.

Alabaster Earring seems like the clear winner, actually really good earring.
Murky Mantle may be interesting? I'd like to see some sims on like lower tier nukes and helix spells.
The other two are meh, the Alabaster Mantle could be an inventory saver, but I believe it should be worse than any ambuscade cape.

It might be slightly better than an ambu cape if the WS has a str+dex mod, which off the top of my head would be something like tachi mumei or maru kala. But it wouldnt be by much and it comes at a cost of no PDT/DT aug line, which can be pretty rough.
Was thinking more for Savage Blade (important WS!)
Savage blade is str/mind so it's not good for it compared to ambuscade cape
