One important distinction (that the wiki has) is whether a piece of content is pre-iLevel or not.
Many suggestions here are for pre-iLevel (e.g. regular Dynamis) and should be easy to do for a fresh 99 (sparks/ambu gear).
Some other content mentioned is post-iLevel (Omen, Odyssey) and will be much harder to farm until getting at least Ambu +2 and maybe a few Job Points.

This being said, one decent source of gil which offers a great way to test your skill against a wide variety of enemies is UNM. Worth a shot when you get 99, if only to get a sense of what types of enemies you can most easily/safely deal with.

Do you guys think SE will take these Curator moogle items and make them incrementally used towards future rewards? Like if I skip Crystal Board this month, will I be screwed because 6 months from now a Rainbow Mog pell needs a Crystal Board? :/

2. Weekly sell ROE items for a 2m allowance. This is sound advice, however I would hold off on burning all your sparks, as you will need them to upgrade weapons and armor as you level up.
Whatever you're farming at lv30 you can farm exponentially faster the higher level you are. |

While the cells don't change, you need to update this for af/relic +4, as they all got a bump to the amount of WSD.
True. I was going to wait for SE to fix all of their typos first before I do that. (But who knows? Maybe SE will update them with +5?) |

Worth mentioning also for QoL stuff if you're still at it OP: I set up red proc macros to equip the 1DMG weapon and also fire off the weaponskill if I have TP. Sort of a one-button deal that makes the whole thing easier.
Good point. I find Mercurial Kris the BiS offhand for this content for any one-handed procs.
I have a whole pallette just for nin/war procs weapon swaps with an /echo to remind me what the proc is so I don't need to think about it. |

Knowing for sure you will get a KI is better than relying on dumb luck.
This is essentially the argument for why you should be changing jobs. I'd rather take the 60 seconds to job change and get 100% drop rather than spend all the extra time farming boxes or waiting on respawn because you didn't have the proc.
I get that some people like the gamble or the RNG, but I'm only trying to focus on things that are a guarantee. Leave the luck for events that you can't affect the outcome. It's also respectful to other players who might be competing for claim that you at least force the KI rather than wasting it. |

I aeolian edge alongside my Fell Cleave war, but solo thf is fine with aoe/non aoe kills
