Friggin server problems had me up longer than I intended to be last night.
Still can't figure out what's causing the server to crash on start up. x.x
There is not enough coffee in the world right now. I kinda wanna just move one of the large containers in the break room to my desk so I can just drink straight from the spout. I'm considering brewing another batch when I go home for lunch.
Also, have you tried turning it off and on again? Unplugging it for 30 seconds? Doing a rain dance? Deleting the WTF folder? The mods folder? Uninstalling and reinstalling? Calling Comcast and timing how long it takes to get a rep? Spitting in the face of danger? Constructing additional pylons? Playing a marathon match of Sid Meier's Civilization V? Looking at it intensely? Setting it on fire? Cursing its family? Curling? Creating a gaming community? Going antiquing™? That last 2 are on my to do list. |

Perhaps it is simply a canadian genetic fear of and aversion to offending anyone even slightly by stating a genuine opinion....

The Holy Emperor of the militaristic and isolationist nation Dàguó has invited you to his palace for a state dinner in an attempt to warm decades of frosty relations.
The Debate
1- “IT’S A TRAP!” shouts Admiral Hugh de Calamari, a military attaché who seems borderline paranoid. “Isn’t it obvious? They’re only inviting you over there so they can KILL you! They’ll either poison you or stab you in your sleep. Trust me, you can’t trust these Dàguó animals. They will kill you the moment you let your guard down.”

2- “I agree that we shouldn’t go over there,” replies Miley Rhodes, your personal chef, who is always dying to experiment with new cuisine. “However, that doesn’t mean we should ourselves embark on a policy of isolationism. Why not invite this Emperor of theirs over here and treat him to a state dinner? There’s much to discuss like their Tasmanian trade sanctions or the steady stream of refugees from the Maxtopian Civil War.”
Accept
3- “Dàguó’s leaders have historically denounced our great nation for covert operations that, err, officially, we still deny,” mentions Professor Tobias Yeats between introductory college lectures. “Meeting with Dàguó’s Holy Emperor would be a perfect way to begin to mend relations. Accept the invitation, respect their customs regardless of how strange they might seem, and act like a real national leader for once! Go out there and start advocating for world peace, and history will thank you.”

There’s a chance my scheme will end up causing a war, but if worst comes to worst, I’ve still got my jetpack and exploding attaché case.”

Coffee, kraken, tea, whiskey, etc. I... have some weird love for mugs. I have far more than one man could ever need, yet I see interesting mugs and think "I need that."
I enjoy drinking out of a mug more than a glass. I give mugs as gifts. I was upset when I broke my old work mug, even tried to salvage it with glue and tape (worked for a bit).
I went to a customer appreciation event for a company we deal with at work. They gave us all goody bags. It had a large, sturdy mug. Not some dainty 10oz atrocity. This baby holds about 14oz of sweet black tar heroin coffee. You bet your *** I will recommend them now, all because of a mug. A damn mug. A sweet, innocent, exquisite mug.
...I may have a problem.
Edit: My new work mug is a plain green stoneware mug. It's lovely. Nice and smooth with a large handle. Ample room to fit three fingers into comfortably.
I uh... Think we may need to get you some help Do I get a mug afterwards? Like a "I survived therapy" kind of thing?
