OK, storytime, 1968 a good year decade for stories. Bellingham WA.
I had hired a local geology professor and aerobatic pilot to teach me aerobatic flying. He had gotten into flying to study mountains and into aerobatics because precision fun adrenaline sport. He was GOOD, like airshow performer while school is out for the summer good. Not an old fuddy duddy professor in the slightest.
I walk into the pilot's lounge (also the airport's passenger lounge) dressed in a common hippie chick look. Peasant blouse, jeans, fry boots, long hair down and flowing. Dead silence. Found my instructor and we walk out to his plane, a Citabra, while I put my hair in a ponytail. I preflight the aircraft we hop in and at his instruction I take off for the introductory lesson.
I had learned to fly in planes this size, Cessna 150's, but my only taildragger experience had been in war surplus Beech D18s, WAY bigger than these. So I was a bit nervous about the landing. It wasn't a three point landing but it wasn't a three bounce landing either. Well into the any landing you can walk away from bracket.
We walk into the lounge he says "Well, she can fly." Bang! I am instantly a member of the club.
Ancient history: Hippies were discovered by the media in 1967. In '68 Time magazine ran an article about how hippies were moving into mainstream America like real jobs, even important well paying ones.
The guys in the lounge had just been talking about this article. "The next thing you know some hippy will walk in here and want to rent an airplane."
That had been my entry line.

Ok right. Figured I'd ask if you maybe were just killing the fetter only.
But anyways, yeah just bad implementation on drop pools. Ou/Omen bosses have the same problem. I have no issue with them making getting drops easier, but it would seem to accomplish far more if they stopped making distribution for gear so terrible to begin with. They think it's extending the content for longer, but all it's making people do is skip the fight altogether and just buy the ***from Trove.

When you say fetter, are you talking about killing the spitewarden or the actual fetters?
Both. You need to kill the fetter in order to target the spirewarden and kill it, like Sheol.

Getting there, slowly.
Those mandies took the longest.
One of my goals is to get all the mementos. For profit, obviously.

I will see if I do my homework and restart reading JoJo from the beginning (despite already knowing the entire story already).
Back then I started reading way before the scanlations from the part 1 were even complete.
I simply gave up reading because there were so many chapters and no scanlation available.
Now that JoJo is "mainstream", I suppose I can find the entire serie completely in english

Trailer of Steel Ball Run.
The part where I see most people claiming is the best of the JoJo franchise.

My point is there's already a system in place for Lilith that unlocks an additional drop slot, just nobody bothers doing it.
The difficulty/reward benefit is not there that's why. I did do the wardens stuff for a while. I saw one double drop in maybe a dozen runs like that. Mostly FA as usual.
Meanwhile kill times were 4-5 times longer than just a straight zerg and much higher risk of wipe.
Since it does not guarantee a drop, why bother with it.

Don't mess with my monsters.
I do not f around with rearing.
Lol it's all good.

Yep, that's what I was thinking too. Thanks for the code example it gives me some ideas of an implementation. I should have something ready later this week.

I like how Nomura created names for all his character designs.
Hume female with blonde/black hair in a ponytail is called Morgana, black haired hume is Alexio etc
This is giving some super main character syndrome feeling, as my name is Alex Wynn...
Alexio and Wynne were the box art characters lmao.
Though I wound up being Gerard.
Where the Galkas at?

I still don't see the infatuation with terrible drop rates to begin with, and then measures to improve the drop rate later. And they still haven't learned their lesson with Limbus matter, which is another problem. Idk, just stop making fights with ridiculously bad drop rates and make them reasonable (not guaranteed, but not excessively long either). Seems like more work fixing these fights multiple times instead of just getting it right the first time (CoD)
Considering their previous htbs CoD feels like a fluke or an apology. And noone does lilith the proper way because itd take more than 2-3 people and those farming lilith are likely low level geared, and would rather burn out beating their head against ve/e rates then attempt NĂ— with some others.

Has anybody done testing on the easiest way to achieve capped Imperial Standing Accolades during Besieged? The most recent update gave us the following:
"The system that was applied to certain monsters has been revised, with players now earning a contribution level based on their actions rather than a set amount, and experience points will be awarded according to their performance."
I have since done 3 Besieged. The first one I killed two mobs, then spent the rest of the time curing and hasting NPCs/Generals/Random players. Capped at 400.
Second Besieged, I fought no monsters and only buffed/hasted NPCs/Generals (Prot 3/Shell 3/Haste). Less than 200
Third I did the same only buffing NPC/Generals, this time adding cures, less than 200 again.

Nobody bothers with it because its not 100%, its the same ***drop rate as the other slots.

Bump!
I'm still on the lookout for a casual/small group setting to do events with. Anyone looking to expand their roster?
PM or reply!
Thanks!

The amount of times ive seen people say you need to farm lilith when theyre starting out, it only makes sense to target that set as it makes getting everything else easier (should just change the rates to be more in line with other htbs and do the same with shinryu but ah well)

If a new player asked you to help them
|
|
 |
|

Some weeks ago I asked info about 2 pets in the Mog Garden that I couldn't seem to evolve.
Korrigan and Adenium.
Both don't have an evolution food, both were 3 stars, I was trading a "good" food, but couldn't get them to evolve after more than 1 week (I think about 10 days).
I followed the suggestion Eiryl gave me (that is: perform the good interaction, but feed them NO food at all and leave them on "evolve" parental status).
Result? In 2 days they both evolved.
Maybe coincidence and they would've evolved anyway, or maybe it's not, up to you guys to decide but for the time being I'm just sharing the experience!

I wonder why they're doing this for Lilith "only", isn't there a "method" to improve drop rates in that fight already?
If a new player asked you to help them prioritize which HTMB to do, you'd say Lilith first and Shinryu last. It's basically an easier foot in the door for newer players and those who don't have a full group at their disposal to unlock extra drop slot.

That's what I meant by "identical proc system", but I wasn't clear in referring to the original system
