Maybe they used the same coding that spawns the Temenos ??? with the matters. That is brutal Simon.
After conquest tally, I ran one climb and got my matter (not even sure if after tally it is 100%) but I got x3 matter and called it

I got the D 18 time through a flight school in Akron OH where I took multi engine and instrument instruction. A selling point was they had a cargo and mail business and free right seat D -18 time was included. YOU BET THIS WAS THE DECIDING POINT. I logged over 50 hours in them. Great plane.
It's just not something you hear about much. My CFI started flying in the early 60s and he had time in them but I can't say I've ever met anyone else during my time flying that did other than him.
I can't even think of the last time I saw one that wasn't in a museum or at an air show. I flew out of a really busy airport in GA and don't think I ever saw one there, even though we had some wild stuff (there was an A35 (yes, A, as in 1947ish) Bonanza across the ramp from us). They are such elegant, cool airplanes with a lot of neat history. I can't imagine the cost to maintain and operate one now though.
I saw photos of one not long ago that had a period correct executive interior and I've never wanted an airplane so much in my life, it was amazing. Military surplus D 18 variants were dead common in the '60s. They had sold really cheaply in the post WWII period and after the Korean conflict. They were said to have a wing spar problem but what really killed them was fuel consumption. Hardly a problem in the '60s but deadly in the '70s.
My dream planes were the converted A 20 & 26s. Only bomber I know to have shot down a fighter dogfighting. Executive transport conversions were cheap for a big twin but I didn't have the money for even a ratty used Piper cub.
And yeah, those early Bonanzas were cream your jeans pretty. I think we all wanted to fly them.

im gonna grab it to equip on all my jobs and lockstyle my stage 5 horn over the top, therefore allowing a prime afterglow on every job
You would need to keep the instrument equipped for that to work.

My father as lots of story like that, the kind of stuff people would never believe. Except everyone of his family and friends do believe them... cuz we have all live through 1 or 2 of his stories seeing it first hand.
For him it all seems like it come from living with the flow, not just "going with it".

my only taildragger experience had been in war surplus Beech D18s, WAY bigger than these
I can't begin to express the level of jealousy I have over this. I have time in Barons and Bos but never could find an 18 to even let someone sit me right seat in, always wished I could have. I was once talking to a pilot who's job was flying a corporate owned Cessna Citation. HE was jealous of my D 18 time. I was astonished. I mean he flew JETS!

You 100% did a run you don't remember which got you your first guaranteed one.
That or your inventory was full first time you climbed and you lost it. Either way, the first one in both is 100% guaranteed.
Quote: Prior to this week had done 1 full climb in temenos and 0 NM kills.
Isn't that your first temenos climb. Didn't you get a matter then. First climb of temenos was right after release before items/matter were in the game

I had done Apollyon already and got the guaranteed one there. I expected first temenos to be guaranteed as well but I went 4/6 on that first climb
First one in both Temenos and Apollyon is guaranteed. You get the base item from the first one, which is guaranteed.
Anything after that is /random.
The earring is the guaranteed one.
my WHM 100% did not get a drop from first temenos maybe a bug or some edge case but that lead me to believe it was not guaranteed because I had gotten guaranteed drop from apollyon already

VR content is pretty lacking, but there is some absolute gems out there. Star Wars Rogue Squadron is really fun with a flight stick. Assetto Corsa is really good for racing/driving and has a huge modding community. I always fall back on Skyrim and Fallout 4 VR tho, they are still the best games out there imo.
The tech is really getting advanced and progressing quickly right now. The Quest 3 is a really good value, but I'd hold off because it seems like more and more headsets are coming with micro OLED displays. OLED is such a game changer from LCD. Being able to hit those no-light emitted black levels is amazing for immersion.

With Sterk's and the rest of above:
72/211=34%
This is aggregated across all weeks. Average across servers and all NM kills.
Basically I want to see if there is a baseline. It won't tell us how much NM kills affect it.
main 5/5 (earring and +4)
That's 4/4. First one is guaranteed.

I have been absolutely obsessed with these 3D full 360 captures lately. I just found this app called Scanniverse and I can't wait to try it out a bit. I've even been debating on buying a Quest 3 VR headset just to try it out more.
I'm pretty obsessed with VR and this kind of thing gets me very excited. It's refreshing to see more than stupid first person zombie shooters being developed for VR.
I've been trying out a bunch of travel apps for VR after getting my new Bigscreen Beyond 2 headset. It's almost unsettling how realistic it feels with the insane clarity of this new headset. It's almost enough to make you belive in simulation theory.

16/30 closer to 50% just means you got very lucky.
He had one guaranteed so thats more like
4/4
0/4
1/4
1/4
2/4
2/4
10/24=41.6%

In FFXI, frame rate controls animation speed, but actually running faster would require messing with your system clock, I think?
|
|
 |
|
|
I remember reading that old games, I think the mentioned example was tomb raider, had the the movement speed or the overal speed of the whole game tied to frame rate so if you played it unpatched on a more recent PC the game supposedly played much faster than intended. Maybe you uncapped frame rate in your graphics card controls and XI has something similar going on?

Very lucky or previous week NM clears increased chance from ~40% to ~50%, but on Bahamut im 0/2 on main this week (im 1/9 on my main since I started last week and I actually killed 10 NMs...) and 4/12 on all chars...

QM takes precedence over all
If someone acts (lot or pass) on an item in treasure pool, it will force to whoever has QM.
Thank you! I’ll let my friend know
