What's more interesting than your subtle racism

That's kind of what is already there, with upstairs bosses scaling up in difficulty and then increasing further in the basement, wings themselves are also different ilvls. Only thing that it would really help would be getting aminon access i guess? And if you can get to aminon then you should be able to do the other bosses in heir current form too.

Not sure how this would impact XI, whose servers were all in Japan afaik, but there ya go.
By Reiden on 2025-09-27 12:40:27
It seems to be stable now. Maybe they pressed the eject button.
By Geloudia on 2025-09-27 12:36:41
For those that still can’t login:

Type into windows search cmd, press enter.
Type into the command window: „ipconfig /flushdns“ without the „“
Press enter.
Restart pol viewer or windower, it worked for me after that.
By Dodik on 2025-09-27 12:35:36
I was getting constant R0 whole day today.

Anyway, sign to go do something else.
By Paulu on 2025-09-27 12:33:58
XIV was impacted at the same time too. Seems to be recovering.
By RadialArcana on 2025-09-27 12:28:29
Servers have been shitty for over a week.
By Autocast on 2025-09-27 12:24:45

FFXI players after this massive outage

By Reiden on 2025-09-27 12:20:31
All of mine just went down. First r0 and then came back, to then connection terminated.
By Eiryl on 2025-09-27 12:19:33
Epic. aight.
By enoch on 2025-09-27 12:18:42
Apparently FFXIV too, maybe a prob at the data center.
By Vargasfinio on 2025-09-27 12:18:00
Yeah, Error 0011 in the middle of a Tenzen HTMB. I'm barely able to log into POL, let alone even try to do the XI step afterwards.
By Eiryl on 2025-09-27 12:16:19
Did the whole thing just implode (playonline.com won't open either) or is it just my turn to have problems.

I still wonder what they think players are doing to obtain this quantity of Alex. Forget the cost and time burning old content, just trading that quantity is insanely irritating. Then you have to get Beitetsu, do trials, etc.

Same as previous players do it; you'd trade as you go. If there's something id like SE to add it'd be a currency moogle similar to the crystal moogle who you can store all the rema currency into, slap it into the mog garden. We have currency npcs for just about everything else so i dont see why this would be any different.

As for changing the amounts, in a healthier game with content coming in regularly and a stronger player base they might look to being more lenient on older stuff, but as is it's better long term to keep the limited player base on the treadmill as long as possible, as once they run out of stuff to do, they're likely not gonna be back for some time as nothing new is really coming out, for example within the past yr i think we've only had besieged additions and now limbus, and that'll likely be the same by the end of this yr with limbus maybe being partially done and besieged maybe being complete.

So keep them stuck on older stuff for as long as possible, cause once they're done, they're done, there's also that SE doesnt seem to like touching the legacy stuff too much, whether that be lack of know-how or respecting older stuff, or what have you.

I seem to recall one where he said some fast groups would finish within six months, but more directly stated they could be soloed.

No, that is someone's poor comprehension or a poorly worded(possibly translation) question. Also failure to count.

The interviewer asked if people would be able to finish in 6 months. Fujito said 'a few people may finish by the end of the year'. May through December is 8 months kids.
By Dodik on 2025-09-27 11:14:17
That's what I remember also, though also don't give enough *** to go look for it.

SE's imagination of what is reasonable to expect of players to do and what players are actually willing to do are wildly different.

What was the question exactly. Just showing an answer with no context is not helpful.

I would love someone to ask Fujito-san face-to-face - "You said getting a prime weapon is possible solo. What setup have you used to beat Aminon solo to be able to make that claim."

Idk how accurate this translation is but the quote isn't remotely what you said.

Quote:
Fujito: Yes, it will be. We have tried to make it so that solo players can work hard to strengthen the game in line with their current style of play. However, the final stage may be a little tougher.
