The shield sometimes drops after the final benediction when he's using a TP move, but not always. I just look for the visual effect to go away, at least on D. My group is now very confident that we've got the mechanics down, so we'll start on VD tomorrow and see if it's any different.

0 item drops, mass linking and aggro in Tem, needing to touch the next floor manually to advance (no afk).

All of these contribute to making it harder to merc.

I can’t really see this being merc content. It seems catered around returning players — which is good!

Also you get about 6k Capacity points per mob kill at lvl 119. So that’s really nice! (Was at 200 job points during test.)

So you unlock access to the buffs on second clear, but then the level of the buff power depends on how many people have been opening the box in total?

BPALL+5 right off the bat. LS members ideas on what BP stands for ranged from, "*** Please" to "Base Parameters."

You don't even need to cite 1.0. The current XIV has datamined for ages. And in that case it's a competitive advantage. Looking up Zones for Raids, Text dialogs, Move lists, etc. It's just accepted as is ACT and other addons that are used. It's just a few people whining about datamining. Just ignore them and move on. It happens in literally every MMO that doesn't full post what's available on patch.

All you do is stand in the same spot for weeks on end, so what does it matter?

I've logged off and back in several times since the update, Windower should be up to date. Good to know it's still ok with Grace active though, will try some other avenues to see if it fixes. Cheers.
