While I can understand the gearing by item level thing I hate when's one dps has to carry everyone else. I hate it more as the number of there people he carries increases. I almost want it to not even be possible... but then I'm a cranky elitist. Funnily enough (okay maybe only funny to me) certain specs in WoW the item level means absolutely jack ***. Fire mage was the prime example. For a fire mage, a 680 ilevel green PoS item with crit on it was better than a 720 ilevel with no crit. Crit was life. Fury warrior was another example because their haste break point was 50%. This was, literally, impossible to obtain. Thus, haste was life.
Druids just wore whatever looked prettiest... and unless they were resto never got to see it. |

as a wee young whitemage, raised with the idea that I was helping the party, keep everyone alive and cheerful and things would run smoothly.
boy was I wrong. that didnt last long.
tossed into the fire of camping and farming SKY even before I was at cap 75... and solo whm healing in a full alliance.... points of view change dramatically.
DPS being stupid, popping everything, ripping hate? here Haste/Regen and good luck. survive long enough (aka stop being dumb)? ok fine, I'll heal you. Dead? ok, im sure one of the RDMs can R1 you. maybe if im feeling good ill R2 you, cause still cheaper MP than curebombing your ***.
stuff is going down so smoothly that it is borring, or I need to go to the restroom mid fight?
Cure 4's - shred hate, make stuff happen, die, 5 min break. WoW version: Resto druid.
Tank: Put about 40 HoTs on them. Toss a nuke heal once in a while. Defensive cooldown on them during burst phases.
Other healers: Toss 2 HoTs on them. Toss quick heals if necessary.
DPS: If 1 Rejuv doesn't keep you alive, it's your own dumb *** fault. You're not worth the mana.
That one fury warrior: Sorry, didn't see your health bar.
The top dps in guild: SENPAI PLEASE NOTICE MY OVERHEALING!That needs to be changed to "I don't care how good you think your damage is, *** GET OUT OF THE BAD STUFF!" True, however, I am willing to sacrifice my mana for the 1-2 dps who are carrying the 8 dead weight "I looked up my rotation and only gear via item level". |

as a young whm elf growing up on the streets of sandy... I learned the hard way that some people have a significant learning disability... and they need to die a couple times and get R1'd before they will "hear" what you have to say about pulling hate off the tank...

Yeah, that's pretty accurate
Yesterday I forgot to take my store brand allergy pill, and that was a terribly mistake. On my way home from work I started getting the itchy and scratchy throat that always occurs when I don't take anything for my allergies.
After taking one as soon as I got home the scratchy throat actually started getting better, but I had the occasional red phlegm and the occasional mucus with a glob of blood in it
I'll just have a Marlboro Cigarette, it's just what the doctor ordered
