Some people posted cyberpunk 2077 switch 2 v.s steam deck comparison, switch 2 seems to win quite a bit.

If you want a handheld gaming device to play games on your bed, I think switch 2 is probably very competitive.

The best thing about MS obtaining Activision is now MechWarrior 2 is available on Xbox Game Pass whoooohooooo :D

MS knows what I want. More retro games more!!! ;D

My interest was piqued, since it predates their consoles... and yet... it's apparently the Arcade Edition (what the PS1/Saturn had) rather than the PC/Mac version.

Still, interesting, nice that they're using the IP for the older ones too.

That being said they are probably overall still stronger at ~24.8% haste
I seem to recall with Vere that's not relevant, but I could be misremembering.
Of course these days most people probably just use Godhands or Varga Purnikawa anyway, so yeah...

Hard to disagree with the rest of what you said.
By SimonSes on 2025-06-05 06:50:10
I don't really ignore them, but I don't think they really cap haste with 6%. I think they are slightly below. That being said they are probably overall still stronger at ~24.8% haste than af+4 would be at 25% haste. Unless I guess AF will also get some cool things like 10% DA :D

That being said, that "ain't stellar meva" adds up on everything and the result is just too low meva. Empy legs, empy body, mpaca hands, mpaca head and AF+4 feet with let's say 130 meva would be 188 meva below full Malignance/Nyame.

The problem is, I figure, mostly on Floor 3 and 4, right? Because on Floor 1 and 2 it's tipically not an issue, provided the support buffs you receive don't suck.

Some mobs can be annoying to oneshot regardless though because they can guard/whatever from the front, and you want to be on the front to use Overwhelm so...
Well also depends on if SV on first floor (some don't) or if there is aria or not. Lots of variables.

I get this totally for the feet, hell I still use them in most of my sets because Kick attacks give me *** on MNK, but the head? I mean why?
Is it for the Crit+8? I dunno, it doesn't seem like the sort of option that "omg it would be so good but I don't use it because its defensive stats are bonkers!"

Also AF+3, when it came out, had higher than usual values of Eva, Meva and MDB, but yeah compared to nowadays' average it's absolutely inferior to the other options MNK has.

I watched a video about Franz Kafka letter to his father.

It was an amazing watch as it resonated with me.

If you are a person that had problems with your father, I do recommend taking a look of the psychological analysis of this letter.

If you want a head to compensate low haste... shouldn't you be using Empy head, which has 9% haste? Unlike AF and Relic which have 8% and I doubt that's gonna increase.
Or there's Null Masque which is not too bad and offers higher than usual eva/meva, high HP and 10% haste!

8% on head and 4% on boots is enough haste. Legs are 7%, which means I only need 4% on body and 3% on hands, so I can fit almost anything for those 2 slots.

I didn't mean I want more haste on AF head and feet. I want higher meva, def etc. so I can use them for their current haste values without dropping my survivability and more importantly without being debuffed by everything that farts on me.

If I can go all out to gain TP and get a couple extra WS off for 99999 each... that's a whole lot of white damage to make up to accept any loss in the speed at which you can TP to 1000+

For this to happen, that 6stp would need to break your 3hit build with regular non Zanhasso hits, otherwise it wouldn't be more WSs, but just same WSs at slightly lower TP threshold still doing 99k. This is generally very unlikely to happen.

It's amusing that Sony are dropping the ball so badly, at a point when Microsoft and Xbox are weakest.

They have been so mindbroken by Microsoft obtaining Activision that they are just throwing anything at the wall to see if it sticks, no matter how much money they burn in the process.

Ugh, there are always those guys that do their workout at gym, then do the next day, then do do another more day.

Then come back for more exercises, what per se doesnt have any problem.

IF, only if…

That guy could change their friggig sweaty clothes…

Then that disgusting smell starts to fly. A smell so strong and with such large radius that can potentially hurt even me, who were like 4 meters away.

I wonder of they dont smell the odor, or if they just dont care

I have both and have used both extensively in sheol C. Even with masa and 3/5 nyame v25 etc (bis) I don't one shot many sets of mobs. Depends a lot on overwhelm and if mobs are facing you
By Akumasama on 2025-06-05 05:27:14
My average is much lower than that, with R15 Doji.
My WS set is very good but not BiS for sure.

The one time where I played a Masa R15 SAM my Fudo average was definitely higher but... I'd say not 60k average, nope.

"Better" than what? Better than Prime? Noway.
Which other options are you factoring? Masa? Because surely you're not considering Koga or Amano relevant, right?

Doji is impressive each time you can exploit Hybrids, which is... quite often I gotta say, but it depends on your luck in the random monster groups each run.
Then there's piercing weak/slash resistant mobs, and for those usually you go with Shining One anyway.
Between masa and doji. Mythic might be good, again under the same condition that you can't 1 shot a mob. SAM ws really aren't that strong (excluding hybrids). Can anyone share a parse where they even average over 60k with fudo? Or low 50s?

Um...I think the word you're looking for is more like "undiscovered", "novel", "new", or something like that.

"secret" means that it is hidden on purpose and not supposed to be shared with others.

I don't have an issue with a particular word this guy used, but rather with the fact that his post(s) are so horribly unreadable. It actually hurts my brain to figure out what he means, and in some cases I legitimately have no idea what his gibberish is supposed to mean.

in Deathborne Gate need 1 def. buff or 2 buff from 3 buffer cor brd geo .. Gallant's Roll or Indi-Barrier or Knight's Minne V and if u have rdm need phalanx and carefully aggro all mobs u need pull 3 mobs every pull .

What is this run-on sentence?

In Deathborne Gate you need 1 defensive buff.
Or 2 buffs...from 3 buffers (COR BRD GEO, in case you didn't know what buffing jobs are)
Gallant's roll or Indi-Barrier or Knight's Minne V
And if you have RDM, you need phalanx
And carefully aggro all mobs
You need to pull 3 mobs every pull (no more than, no less than?)

My questions:
Do I need 1 defensive buff or 2?
Do I need to have a RDM, or is the phalanx only IF I have a RDM?
What does "carefully aggro" all mobs mean? If I'm aggroing all of them, that doesn't seem very careful?
How many mobs should I pull at once? 3? At least 3? No more than 3? Up to 3?

So...I think his horrible writing skills detract from what could be a useful guide, and it's incredibly relevant to point out how his writing is ***. I also think it's reasonable to ask someone who's putting out a "guide" to write it so that it's clear.

the secret of solo job do all objects on vagary and clear all mobs aoe ws and kill all nms (and no one before me know that and i not heard or see any one use it .. i am reasercher in game i test all things )

What the *** does this mean?

The secret job which is capable of soloing all the objectives in Vagary and clearing all mobs.
It has AOE WS and can kill all the NMs
And no one in the history of FFXI has ever figured this out
And he hasn't heard or seen anyone use it
He's a researcher (?) in game and he tests all things (?)

So...um...that's helpful information to put in the guide. Glad that's there to give the reader an aneurysm.

Asura.Aragan said: »
and only need 2 buffer with whm brd or geo to capped magic haste with whm haste and brd march or geo haste and can with rdm(healer) geo .

OK so let's figure out what the job setup is for this. Clearly there's a NIN, since that was (sort of) explained later on.

Only need 2 buffer
With WHM BRD or GEO...?
To cap magic haste with WHM haste (OK, can get this from BRD/WHM or GEO/RDM or GEO/WHM)
and BRD March (BRD can cap haste by themselves)
or GEO haste (GEO can also cap haste by themselves)
and can with RDM GEO

So...the suggested setup is NIN with...what? 2 buffers? WHM + 2 buffers? RDM + GEO? Is RDM one of the "buffers" in this lineup, or do I need a second buffer? Is WHM one of the buffers?

It's written like trash. The whole thing from top-to-bottom is filled with horribly written, unintelligible nonsense. The "tips" that do exist are like "did you know that Tachi: Jinpu makes SC?" and "You can not switch into your WS gear to avoid doing too much damage." which...yeah I guess if it's your first time playing FFXI this could be great advice.

If this not secret why you ask ?

My most anticipated lowkey expectation are much better defensive stats for MNK af head and feet (especially meva), so I can wear them to balance low haste on empy legs.
By Jakey on 2025-06-05 04:20:55
Yeah thf is one of the jobs I most look forward to seeing their +4. They still have several good af and relic tp peices but they are dangerous to wear atm.

No DRG for party, camp spot site with 30 dmg, but is it for 20 like 30 dmg when you no hit be it for dd, for 30 dmg instead? or half is 10 for 20 dmg?

Ah, I see what you're referencing! This phrase is actually a well-known meme in the Final Fantasy XI community. It originated from a confusingly worded post that left players scratching their heads, trying to decipher its meaning.
While the exact interpretation is debated, it seems to be discussing damage calculations in relation to Dragoon (DRG) not being present in a party, a camp spot dealing 30 damage, and whether a hit for 20 damage is equivalent to 30 damage under certain conditions. The phrase became infamous for its cryptic wording and has been referenced in various discussions over the years.
If you're looking for a more structured breakdown of damage mechanics in FFXI, I’d be happy to help! Let me know what aspect you’re curious about.

I am disappoint
