It would be nice if they would add npcs to Selbina too and rotate old ambu fights there. We could have 4 ambu fights a month. Also it would give us another month with a fight that we’ve been doing.
MONKEY PAW CURLS
They add Ambuscade to Kazham, but the entry point is as far as possible from the Home Point.

Screenshot from the Sandy raid in XIV.
I do not remember mobs like these at all. What are these and when were they introduced? Also from where?
Thanks!
Found this vid from 21/4/2006. Double Souleater Guillotine was fun.

Just got shield block +10 on herc legs. I'm sure it's useless on any armor but was surprised since I had never seen more than 5 before.

They need to add more queue lines for Ambuscade
Takes like +30 minutes to get in on Asura
Easy month going to waste ><
Complain that you were unable to participate. The lines were longer than you spend online. They'll be forced to give everyone free gold tier.

whm is fun, gotta know all the potential statuses of every enemy and what order to prioritize heals vs removing them. default UI makes this pretty unfun though, staring at tiny HP bars in the corner of the screen or chat log spam.

The problem with WHM isn't the healing itself. It's the players you're going to be healing in most non static instances are just flat out morons. They're only capable of hitting the WS button on repeat without any concept of game mechanics or defensive measures. Which is why everyone wants to play DD. Hitting a button is easy. Healing idiots who can only hits button is frustrating

Because there are too much going with healing. The deeper you go down into the Whm rabbit hole the more gear and care you need to juggle around until you realized that a well balanced party is what gonna save your sanity while a wacky out of balance party will probably give you heart attacks.
At the beginning, your whm life is simple. You have 2 sets of equipments. You focus on Cure potency for cures and refresh for idle.
Then you need a FC set to fires up your cures faster and an emnity set because you couldn't get a tank and need to survive in low emnity environment.
Then you get taken to pound town anyways and need a DT set to survive the idiots.
At thing point, you might as well get an enhancing set, an enfeebling set and make serious adjustments to your cures sets so you can somehow "tank", enfeeble, cures and do some serious buffs.

There's no reason to progress beyond 720 plaudits unless you want the title or want to complete potentially easy objectives for sparks/xp.

TY. "There is nothing out of the ordinary here"
:(
Well, only 1/6 of my characters actually received the points. 5 got the "There is nothing out of the ordinary here" message. Strange thing is, I haven't done Limbus in over a week and the last ??? I got in Apollyon I got on all 6 characters within seconds of each other. The last time I got the ??? in Temenos was quite awhile ago.
Is it confirmed it is still glitched?

Is there any purpose in continuing to earn plaudits once reaching Gold Tier (this is my first time participating in a Vanabout)? Was planning to just take Old Cases+1 for gambling copium.
Personally, I usually recommend the mog kupon for 6x abyssea items.
Not for making an empy weapon, but for keeping around to be able to insta-finish arbitrary empy gear easy.
Between the I-kupon and the abyssea item kupon, the only thing you have to go to abyssea for is to pickup the base NQ item, after that it's all just trading in kupons.
I usually go to Port Sandoria specifically cuz the VW npcs are right beside the bonanza moogle to trade in at, so you can pop both kupons and jump into abyssea in one trip.

I find the people that are willing to jump on WHM
Are usually the better players

When i came back to the game and joined an endgame group ilvl era the rule was if they didn't already know you, you had to have a mage job you could play. I think its good for most people to take turns at support. The perspective can improve your game play and its good to let people play different roles.
Personally i don't like whm i much prefer to heal on sch just to be different and often the regens give me time to find ways to dps depending on the content.

Primes, like relics, have a hidden occasionally does 2-3x damage on the first swing.
2x at stage4, 3x at stage5.
Proc rate is higher than relics, about 30-35%.
The important part about this is the fact that this can only proc on first hit of the round, so if you triple attack, only one of 3 attacks can be double or triple damage. This make this effect significantly weaker than AM on empyreans, especially on jobs/setups with high Multi Attack rate which are usually the ones taking highest advantage of this mechanic anyway. There are two exceptions. Verethragna can also only proc on one hit per round, so there is no exception for Prime h2h itself, but there is exception in comparison to empyrean counterpart. Now true exceptions are ranged Primes which can proc x2 and x3 damage on each shot of double-quad shot, so the effect is about the same as AM1 on Empyrean.
Thank you for the information!! Like I said, this was probably all well-known but I was gone for quite some time and have only been keeping tabs from a distance. I knew the Weapons were powerful and had the PDL boosting things going on, did not know about the Occasional Double/Triple Damage being there as well and when I tried to look it up on BGWiki, there's presently no such information. Just a listing of the weapons and how to unlock them and such.

I normally do v25 Gog KI1 as PLD, RDM(Mexentius) and KI2 as RUN, iGEO, SCH.
Basically KI1 the RDM buffs, debuffs, black halo till 94% while the PLD tanks and heals and KI2 I fire Gambit/Ryake and MB Pyrohelix II which usually gets it down to 77/76%, SCH puts up the usual buffs and regen V takes care of the healing.

I honestly dont like WHM-ing.
I do end up doing WHM stuff when multiboxing, but it is such stressful job.
I dont deal well with keeping up with debuffs, haste, cures, there is so much going on. It would be even worse without Yagrush.
As mobs become stronger, its always a matter of few secs you can spare to throw a cure before the player is taken down.
When I cure my mules, I just end up throwing curagas on them to at least not having to care about HP and can focus on status effect / haste stuffs.

I started this game as WHM, in 2003. I cleared CoP in pickup groups on WHM, I cleared Dynamis on WHM, I camped kings on WHM, I got a Yagrush for WHM. I don't even mind being blamed for a wipe, because I'm competent and it's rarely my fault anyway; I know whose fault it is. I'd still play WHM today (if I were playing), but sometimes I avoid advertising that I even have WHM. Why?
For the same reason I don't always advertise my RMEA Bard. Sometimes I want to play something else. I have SAM, I have BLU, hell, I have an Epeo RUN. But once people learn I have WHM or BRD, they want me to come as those jobs 80% of the time. But sometimes I just want to whack things until they die.
The solution to this is that you have to put your foot down. Don't be the only WHM in a static group and don't let yourself be forced to go WHM every time.

It actually takes less time, because you'd need 4 non-charged amped bumbas to get the same RP as one charged amped. So, instead of sitting through bumba 4x you sit through bumba once and 2 others once each.
Okay now, what jobs can easily get V25s down 5%?
Im guessing for the other 2 "dump" NMs you can just do whatever the easiest T1s are, if you're just looking to recoup segs and charge, right?
What easiest to gear strats for those 2 NMs do folks recommend, for soloing (and carrying my mules/alts/ls mates)

The problem with whm is you have to heal dd's. Even after you spent 47 minutes buffing them before the fight.

Random Question and forgive me if it was commonly known and I simply missed it:
Do Prime Weapons receive a Melee Damage increase similar to Relic Weapons or Empy with Aftermath?
I'm not seeing this trait anywhere on BG Wiki and I don't remember anyone bringing up discussions about it on these forums either, but I could very easily have just not been reading the days they were talked about.
Is this a thing, or did my LS mates pull fast one on me for being away for so long? lol
