Aspirin has two major side effects. The first is that it can be stomach irritant. In fact, it can irritate any tissue it comes into contact with (thus chewing aspirin gum is not recommended because it can irritate the gums and mouth). Also, people who know they are allergic to salicylic acids in general are urged to avoid aspirin.
Do you really know what the words "not recommended" mean and how that applies to your idiotic powdered aspirin!?

That and what you linked doesn't actually say "don't take aspirin", the person is asking is mentioning aspirin being bad for you... The answerer does not actually say "do not take aspirin", but instead says to be sure to read the warning labels
That and they make sure to mention all of the adverse side-effects of all of the pain relievers, not just aspirin.

TAKE A GOOD LOOK AROUND! We're all three!
Aspirin is no longer recommended by doctors for headaches.
You probably shouldn't be taking Ibuprofen or other NSAIDs while drinking alcohol either, and I'm fairly certain the stomach bleeding risks are pretty much universal among NSAIDs weather it's aspirin, Ibuprofen, Aleve, etc. |
