There's no level 160 content is there? There's 150 content but are the newest master levels 160?

Do you just rawdog mob grind? Curious thing occurred, in that this person had a lower difficulty level set than me. The monster checked decent challenge, rewarded about 76 exemplar points, and did not progress my bar for the floor at all.
We know this from the patch notes, if the difference between your content level and their is more than 10, the mob doesn't count for you at all. We're getting higher CL eventually, I personally bet it's going all the way up to at least 160 one day but who knows.

I missed the convo earlier but how do you maintain the motivation to go to the gym every day? I enjoy using the treadmill when I can gather the energy together, but it's so difficult to form that habit.

I'd wager if the JP post is factual, and theres a NM that spawns that drops the ??? at its feet, which is a random lottery from ANY mobs in the zone....
Then the fact that the 'standard' way of doing the content is fighting stuff the the beginning of the zone, or running to the end teleporter and killing stuff there, is barely if not even killing the placeholders for the NM at all. Not only that, but 99% of players arn't checking each, or any, of the mobs to see if it's "Impossible to Gauge"
I think when the content came out people explored more and killed more random things in random pockets, which lead to the NM spawning/dying more and thus us finding more ???'s.
Apollyon is a much smaller/more straightforward zone and its easier to accidentally kill random mobs in the area
So I've been going through Temenos /checking everything.
Turns out when you check it before engaging, the monsters will all con 119 (or at least as incredibly easy prey to an ML42).
Once pulled or agro'd, however, they changed to con as Tough--.
Reflecting the way the set difficulty level works.
So it seems to me that the, "Impossible to Gauge" won't happen until you agro it, and that this is the intended mechanic to stop folks from sleeping things and porting up(as the monsters will reset to their base level once agro is lost).
Have also helped folks struggling solo when they agro'd too much. Curious thing occurred, in that this person had a lower difficulty level set than me. The monster checked decent challenge, rewarded about 76 exemplar points, and did not progress my bar for the floor at all.
Also some really funny hijinks with trying to fight Djinn off the path... If the game registers you dead when one Hypothermally Combusts, or whatever Djinn's self destruct is called, the bomb deagros and resets to full HP without dying.
This is some whacky content.

I know the unobtained points carry over week after week but how do you actually catch up if the open chest count is still limited? Do you just rawdog mob grind?

How do you get the Beastmen Banner? (I like flags and stuff)
I've never gotten really fancy with decorating my Moogle House, but I always put the bed near the fireplace, and a couple of figurines out on the desk or somewhere.
Very modest, and I like to hang as many of the mission flags as possible, too.
Hadn't bothered looking into the second floor or upgrades, because I'm still really behind as far as ultimate weapons and MLs go and stuff, so not at this stage of endgame yet.

High ranked nyame is often your best or 2nd best TP piece. Moderate DA, high acc/atk, and very sturdy
A well rolled QA/TA or such chironic can easily come out ahead but thats pure RNG, and its also much less defensive

Paying the extra 2 bucks a month to save yourself the effort of running all the way across Vana'diel, just to find out that the other auction houses(they used to be separate) don't have what you want. Worth. I had two alts and five mules. The AHs were separate back then. I started on NA release and left before Rhapsodies.
I may need to research elsewhere.
It was like that as long as I can remember. I only had the 2 mules in the cities other than main. People weren't really doing the alt thing until much later unless it was a teletaxi or camping ToDs.
The only thing that was different was the billing cycle.

So umm what's the big differences between the changes? Presuming Nyame is reserved for WS, how big of a change is it to use it for TP also?

Y'all are very right that I forgot Escha - Zi'Tah gear (Nolan), and Escha - Ru'Aun (Abjuration), in my mind they're wrapped together because it's all Escha but they're definitely different categories of stuff, with some really good pieces still. Imma edit my post.
nobody bothers to update the wiki anymore. I was building SBII sets on various jobs, so I went to the BG Wiki Subtle Blow page. It had the first few common items from Omen era and Su4/5s, and nothing after that.
The bgwiki team has kind of given up on mantaining those pages - it's a royal pain in the *** because the wiki is not setup as a database, and each of those tables needs to be mantained manually. They're probably just going to disappear entirely someday in favor of people using FFXIAH's power search.
(if anybody here doesn't want them to go away... well then maybe they could contribute mantaining them, don't need to edit all of them, just amending the one you found lacking is plenty.)

I can try out Hybrids later with Malaise but they were meh with standard melee buffs.
I think it's a matter of that 50% DT double dipping there. It would practically reduce hybrid damage by like 70%, instead of just 50%.
Yeah sadly I think that's the case. Poorly coded. Makes hybrids irrelevant in Limbus.

Nah its male (I'm male Taru), like the rest of the JSE, which I can equip (nothing else is +4 though).

Straight *** annoying man. 3 years of friendship down the drain because he didn't like the way I talked to him. Not implying that it's easy to accept/get over, but the silver lining is that I'd take a workplace "friendship" down the drain as an outcome of your situation over anything else that might negatively affect my work/career.
As someone else put it: be friendly with your co-workers, not friends with them.

I finally got one after like 2 years of runs. The last 8-9 months have been 7 days a week too. Before that 4 days a week. The first year or so was 6 boss clears. Rest 8 boss clears.
I got SCH which I didn't care about ?
NGL that much sortie nonstop is actually insane, no idea how you can pull that off, but shout out to all those who can stomach that kind of grind for that long. I can't do a full 7 days straight of sortie without throwing up in my mouth.
Our group's main focus is perfecting our toy train sets in our respective mothers' basements, the sortie grinding is just a side hobby really. The rare +2 earring is nice I suppose, especially when they are min aug! We'd probably be doing Aminion too if SOMEONE had an Idris
I can't tell where the jokes in this post end and the real content begins, but you absolutely do not need an Idris to kill Aminon.

I've lamented many a time that there doesn't exist something along the lines of talking to Gama-shama with a completed prime equipped for a choice of a +2 of a job listed on that weapon.

At least you finally got what you wanted. I know players with 4 primes still chasing +2s they want.

Must say the symphony of this was just too much perfection not to share in this environment. But nodding back to several posts in this thread mentioning, hell flat out begging, for some kind of trade-in system, I just cannot stop laughing at the ability to make both Stage 5 Prime Ranged Weapons before I saw a single RNG+2 earring- which my first one finally showed up not 2 weeks after finishing the 2nd Prime.
If one were to just blankly analyze the data, they couldn't be faulted for thinking that SE values the earrings more than the Primes. ;)
