Question for clarity, as I got unexpected results when testing: I assume BP is a JA and thus has no midcast? Only precast? If so, I need to adjust my sets.

If you bid on something then immediately exit out of the menu the results appear instantly. It is a client side delay.
You can also just run away from the AH and force the window closed when you range it.

All the sets on the main page are up to date. Of the 4 physical ones listed, I think this one with the extra helios does the best for the multihits.

I very quickly glanced thru bidders code, and i dont think theres anything stopping you from doing speedy bids.
Of course, the server logs will show you making multiple bids per second, which isnt supposed go be doable.

if you do use bidder or another similar ah tool, you'll notice that the delay between placing a bid and receiving confirmation is entirely artificial. maybe it has some legit function reducing AH traffic, but mostly makes you wait for the hell of it to see if you won the item or not.
if you find yourself using it very often, repeater works to set your own delay, too.
It's called gameplay and it's very very important to slow everything down!
(would actually love it if someone made something to just make all AH purchases instant)

When it was happening to me years ago, it was literally like 40-50 people cycling, I don't think it's foul play at all, it's just some weird *** bug probably related to server lag somewhere

You are like me, they will not believe you because they call you a liar and because they do not know, and if you tell them that it is a secret, they will never believe you unless you explain it to them and they see with their own eyes, and I have deleted my private topics and I will never say anything again. I am very sorry for what happened to you. I hope to see you soon.
Somehow you showing up to *** suck a guy clearly cheating as if he is a martyr to the cause AND using the opportunity to try to earn yourself some pity points is so incredibly on brand that I'm shocked I hadn't expected it in the first place. You really are trash.
Listen, I can call you trash and everything. Anyone can say the same. lol

For example, sneak and invis won't be available for a short window after launch.
This is incredibly stupid. If someone wants a "fresh, still in beta" MMO experience they can pick any of the myriad new MMOs being created all the time.
It sorta baffles me why XI gets this kind of lunacy. XIV somehow escaped it. Absolutely no one wants a 1.0 FFXIV experience.
Probably because XIV 1.0 was insanely unpopular. Every popular old MMO that changed its game has this kind of stuff now. OSRS is more popular than RS3, Classic WoW has had multiple iterations that overtook Retail WoW at the time.

Every MH, including Jeuno, is still centered at 0,0,0 for that zone.
Like I said, the fact it's a Hume M 1A is a dead giveaway that the data is not populated. If the person showed up as normal there'd be more reason to speculate.

but this is jeuno?
I could see the 0,0,0 if it was a starting city

There's too damn many private servers as it is. Would be really cool if they all just merged into one so there'd be one populated "old school FFXI" and then retail FFXI. They're different experiences, so at least that would be something.

Most private servers are completley different from retail gameplay experience/community wise, that's why they exist. Especially so with the likes of 75-era ones.

It really is that simple, youll get hit by every debuff pretty reliably

Could someone have simply The mog house is located at 0,0,0. Some zones have a 0,0,0 in their real geometry that's accessible, some don't. Sometimes it's under the floor, sometimes it isn't.
Could it also be user-error with some poorly written or out-dated tool that tries to warp them to 0,0,0 in a zone that also has a Mog House? Or some connection or overlap between Labebe's Mog House and OP's?

there's also racial SDTs to take into account. Goblins tend to take increased elemental dmg in general aside from darkness, light moreso among them.
Apo is always double dark, yeah

what's the point of making a server that's trying to emulate very specific time periods and then throwing it all out the window with custom? Trusts are the antithesis of era in my opinion.
We aren't trying to perfectly emulate the Era experience. That would be impractical with the number of temporary changes needed only to undo them later.
Instead, we're focusing on specific features to create a meaningful sense of progression. For example, sneak and invis won't be available for a short window after launch. Along with a gradually increasing level cap up to 75, certain synthesis recipes and NPCs will be tagged to their respective expansions and disabled until those expansions are released. The goal is to create a fresh and dynamic progression experience, while also scaling in additions from post 75 content.
It's an interesting vision, doesn't really appeal to me but I can understand people wanting to do a like "FFXI what if" version.

Double weather plus ring I am guessing then. So does Apollyon have double dark? I didn't even pay that much attention.
Anyone worked out how much HP they have at ilv130? Feels about 100k exactly?

You should probably lead with a timeline instead of the idea of a progression

It'd be an interesting thing to try out if someone wanted to play around with, as im not aware of any of the PS in other games i played doing something like that, typically it was due to a rollback which understandably upsets people and they leave as that wasnt something they expected to happen and now opens up the (obvious) concern that it could happen again at any point.
I suppose the next hurdle would be how often you could do it without it getting stale.

consider collaborating with existing projects rather than recreating what they're already doing
horizon is the only server contributing back to LSB in any meaningful fashion, and they still aren't great about it
if this server stays committed to not hard forking and actually shares back content, that's exactly what they're doing and they'll easily be the most beneficial server to the overall ecosystem
words are just words though, horizon was 'committed' to contributing back on launch and they've been forked for longer than they've been consistent

Always thought the idea of a progression server would be really cool, but one hell of a thing to pull off. Just getting the formulas right based on what patch it is would be really tough/impossible more than likely. Recreating the pre-2004 content would also be tough with so little information.
It would be very interesting I think to play an era accurate version of pre-TOAU meta for example, no ones really done that and it would probably be fun to go back to the Ridill War+Mnk+Nin meta of 2005 with a 2025 lens.
The real sticking point here is it seems you are going really custom with Trusts and rebalancing, what's the point of making a server that's trying to emulate very specific time periods and then throwing it all out the window with custom? Trusts are the antithesis of era in my opinion.
