Sorry to chime in when you wanted this over with, I'm just hoping to diffuse the hostility a bit. Your points are very valid, and we know that we can improve when it comes to code review. Some cases are difficult to handle, this was one of them. Other cases just get forgotten in the midst of a hectic week, and this was one of them as well.
I can't speak for others, some of us were extremely busy lately. Life do be like that. While I, personally, have been rather busy in the last six months as well, I would still have had time to look into it - in my case, I simply forgot. I generally don't go through our backlog, because I *usually* reply with suggestions and then get notified when someone replies back, so if I don't get notified, I don't *usually* have a reason to go back to an open PR. So when I miss it during one stressful work week, it goes under, and I am not disciplined enough to maintain our backlog regularly. This is definitely on me, and something I need to improve on. While it's not your responsibility, I always appreciate people reminding me, or bumping a PR that has been forgotten.
All this said, I'm sorry to see it come to this. If you decide you want to open the PR again, feel free to, I'll look it over. That said, Lili's comments still stand, and we would definitely prefer to have it share code with findAll, since that is a pretty annoying and complex set of functionality, that we really don't want to duplicate. If you just want to discuss this with us, without an open PR, feel free to hit us up on our Discord, or even DM me (here or there). If, however, you plan to just go your own way with this, no worries, no hard feelings, and best of luck with the project. Can always still ask us for advice (again, preferably on Discord, but here would do as well).

Ambu V1 VD: Run, Brd, Rdm, DD, DD, Cor
**Logistics**:
-Run runs in, does Foil to get hate.
-Brd sleeps adds.
-Rdm silences BLM and Drk and does enfeebling on both.
-Rdm is ‘healer’ but can help DPS if needed.
**Positioning/strat**:
-Run tanks boss.
- 1 DD is assigned to WS behind boss to remove aura.
—> The aura can only be removed by WS aura from back. Aura appears every 20-30 seconds. Boss does invincible at 75, 50, 25% HP. This can be prevented with stun such as by Leg Sweep. Boss CAN aura during invincible. Magic WS will not remove aura.
- DD, Brd, Cor roam and kill ads one at a time.
—> kill order: BLM, Drk, rest, boss.

Now having said that, theres a big difference between a 10 point Pest Repellent and a 1500 point Sweet Tea. I said upgrading an item or Anniversary stuff. Bout isn't either of those. |

I doubt you'll need to kill Fafnir or Nidhogg too, it could be something simple like just click the spawn point with the boots equipped and get a cutscene (of a dragon). Or perhaps the questline gives you the ability to force pop an "event dragon", but then again from the text RadialArcana posted, it says nothing about fighting a dragon, just that you saw one, so zoning into Dragon's Aery might even be enough. Compare that with what is said about Shadowlord, which implies a fight with Prishe alongside (maybe a special fight and not the htbf).

Your initial PR would have actively broken things for a subset of users, as Lili outlined. It bottlenecks that sort of thing, too.
Your attitude comes off as very much full of yourself and insulting to Windower, when the quality of your work is rather low compared to theirs. |

Could be, or maybe not necessarily doing it all while wearing the boots, but maybe after acquiring the boots or lockstyling them (maybe for cutscene effects, similar to Sortie F - empyrean Lockstyle chest). Or maybe trading the boots to a ??? at each spot along the adventure
-Ride Chocobo from Lower Jeuno to The Boyahda Tree
-Kill Fafnir/Nidhogg (or pop UNM?), or merely click the pop for a CS?
-Hall of Gods, click Statue, go back to Ro'Maeve (these are the only ruins I can think of, but that's weird because it's before the next step, which is

It could be that the special event starts Friday with the actual anniversary, as they started the repeat Mandy event today.
 I'm gonna go with this, it might not even be live.
But if theres a scheduled start time, then it stands to reason theres a scheduled end time and getting the +1 boots is a limited time event. |

Oh, that reminds me... You'll never believe the dream I had last night. In it, the two of us were going on an adventure all across Vana'diel!
We rode chocobos from Lower Jeuno and then headed out to the Boyahda Tree. After that, I nearly jumped out of my boots when we came across a giant wyvern!
Then we were exploring a great hall featuring a statue of Lady Altana herself, followed by some ancient ruins... And before I knew it, we were somehow soaring through the sky! It felt like we were birds or something.
Our next stop was the Shadow Lord's castle. Fortunately, that big pushover was no match for the two of us together! Lastly, we took in the sights as we looked out over Tavnazia from Blueblade Fell. The whole day was like some epic adventure! Isn't that the best dream ever!?
But wait, there's more! I was thinking it'd be nice if you could go out on an exciting adventure like the one we had in my dream.
To that end, I got you an awesome pair of boots! I personally vouch for these babies. They're the best you'll ever own. If you rock them on your next outing, you'll be the envy of adventurers everywhere! I'll leave them with the moogle, so be sure to stop by and pick them up when you get a chance.
I wonder... Do you think my dream will come true eventually? I mean my dream of us setting out on an adventure together someday. I'm sure it'd be a great experience for both of us. So I hope you'll help me make it a reality.
On that note, get out there and continue enjoying your time in Vana'diel!
