Again, we didn't say it was impossible, we said it was impossible without exploits. And he WAS using an exploit. Poorly I might add.
Revisionist for literally no reason. The claim was it was outright impossible unless specifically they figured out a way to repop bosses. That was an entire page and a half til people went "wellll actually maybe if you can use the y juggling trick..."
Why are you trying to revise a history anyone can just like, go back and read? Its all right there on pages 19 to 21
There's no way to gain an extra 40k unless you somehow respawn bosses
Carbuncle.Maletaru said: »You can't do 130k unless you can respawn bosses, straight up. Even if you teleported everywhere you went, you can't get another 45k on top of 9 boss, period. You'd need to full clear all of the basements of every enemy in there and then some.
Even if you have all the tools in the world, you still have to wait for enemies to gather together to be cleaved. Also: cleaving with a 9 boss setup is WAY more dangerous.
Carbuncle.Maletaru said: »You can't do 130k unless you can respawn bosses, straight up. Pretty much.
Its fine to admit "okay it is possible without any new tricks, we were wrong, 130k is physically possible just warping"
But to be revisionist and try and pretend there wasnt like a page and a half of people going "Its LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to even get 130k in the first place without some new exploit like repopping bosses" is weird, it 100% was absolutely a discussion that happened.
Some folks (like Thorny) were able to admit "okay looks like it is theoretically feasible if you practice", which is fine.
But like, don't go pretending people weren't saying stuff and try and be revisionist about it, thats even more cringe than the person's initial aloofness about their method. In my defense I didn't know people as stupid as Sepo existed.

FFXI and WoW aren't a good comparison here because the progression models were completely different. WoW launched in a mostly complete state in vanilla. There were certainly a number of adjustments to classes and even armor/items that had a significant impact on the game, but the world was mostly finished. You could play it without any expansions as a standalone game.
FFXI progressed horizontally, so the world(as far as it relates to level 75) wasn't really complete until 5 expansions into the game. If you were trying to set XI and WoW shoulder to shoulder, WoW Classic is based on the last patch prior to the level uncapping in 2006. FFXI's last patch prior to level uncapping was Walk of Echoes in 2010.
Ironically, this was also the patch that removed level cap from CoP missions. Up to that point only about 30% of the players who started those missions had completed them... 6 years later. Why are we talking about progression servers again?

Doomsday I presume you go with Matk / WSD / Magic Dmg? Is that considered the best non-DREAM option? I presume between:
Doomsday: 25 matk / 7 WSD / 10 Magic Dmg
vs
Moly: 30 matk, 25 AGI
The former comes out ahead usually?

But to be honest, some people knew the secret but did not mention it in detail. I think it was a coincidence or a stroke of luck. But the truth and the method were much greater. We were shocked. And there is still a missing particle, 20 minutes of the video.

Just in case anyone wonders about how much Elon cheats...
the terrifying truth about why Tesla’s cars keep crashing
Biggest reveal:
Quote: the NHTSA had flagged something strange – something suspicious. In a separate report, it documented 16 cases in which Tesla vehicles crashed into stationary emergency vehicles. In each, autopilot disengaged “less than one second before impact” – far too little time for the driver to react. Critics warn that this behaviour could allow Tesla to argue in court that autopilot was not active at the moment of impact, potentially dodging responsibility.
This is not nearly the only reveal.

Needs more Leaden, less Sword WS.

Leaden Salute. Either through spamming, but more reliably just 3-4 stepping it can down say wind eles pretty reliably. Leaden > Fast blade > Leaden > Wildfire. Can rep fast blade with wasp sting/viper bite if main handing dagger

Looking for some guidance on Sortie Casket #B1 (Vanquish 3 Biune foes within 30 seconds of gaining enmity.)
Im mostly doing solo runs as cor, and folks were saying you should be able to just solo this easily by using magic WSes on elementals, but I dunno if my gear is just too *** or what but this seems way off, is there a combination of trusts that make this more viable or is this just an issue for cor?
I tried Shining Blade, Burning Blade, and Aeolian Edge (on elementals weak to light/fire/wind respectively) and it just seems like the damage is way too low to get there.
ItemSet 400023
This is my current set, mind you my Nyame is still pretty low rank (I've been focusing my odyssey efforts into gil rather than ranking up my gear to buy a Rostam, after I get Rostam done then I'll start ranking my gear up), but my Nyame is around... Rank 8 I think? I don't recall.
I'm hitting for around 9k on elementals or so, which seems way too low to zerg them down in 30s. Using Matk and Regain rolls, Joachim+Sylvie+Arciela+Uka+Ygnas for trusts.
Is the magic sauce gonna be skillchain+magic bursts, with someone like Shantotto II?

Guy came in all "I have super secret", got told what it was and that it's not a secret, then showed video doing exactly what the first guess was in page 16.
Sure some people doubted anyone would be dumb enough to cheat *that* hard just for an extra 30k.
I guess they were wrong.

I tried charm in Limbus, excited to be able to charm things in the wild again.
It lasted maybe 30sec before un-charming and turning on me.
Charm+ gear going back in storage.

And the whole thing was less "it cant be done"
No one doubted him. He said it was an exploit he discovered. Thats what people didnt believe.
There was literally an entire page and a half of people outright claiming it was physically impossible to even get 130k points without a way to repop bosses.
Til then folks figured out maybe you could abuse the trick to make enemies warp on top of you.
Which, it turns out, was the "trick" they had "discovered" (not realizing many of us know about it, but I can forgive them for thinking its a new thing cuz most folks don't ever use that trick for anything useful, and no one really ever talks about it)
Why are we being revisionist when the entire page and a half of that discussion is right there for anyone to go look at? Did yall just forget about it?
Again, we didn't say it was impossible, we said it was impossible without exploits. And he WAS using an exploit. Poorly I might add.
Why are you insisting on going to bat for this guy?

No one is saying that era servers play exactly the same as zero information 2003 nostalgia. Classic WoW has been insanely successful while also not playing that way, people enjoy the style of the game even if it is impossible to go back to 18 hour long Alterac Valleys. They've now made 2 different Classic Vanillas, 2 different Classic+ game modes, and 3 expansions, and most of them have been wildly succesful. If it wasn't fun people wouldn't have came back after the 1st time.

I have my own simpler but more versatile version of this solution I maintain:
https://github.com/SteffenBlake/popper-ashita
It uses https://github.com/uleelx/FlatDB for very fast lookups and saves, which means saved pops are shared across all your mules instantly (no need to do a "save" or "load" command, it just works)
The premise of mine is you simply register a pop for any given npc and then it'll remember that, and then moving forward you just /pop it and it'll use the saved trade you registered prior.
Very handy for all manner of npcs you frequently trade. Keys to doors, goblin keys, abyssea pops, mog gardens, quest trade ins, etc etc.
And since you can just re-save what you have registered, its handy even for stuff like escha NMs, where on one day you might be repeatedly popping 1 NM, and then another day you'll be popping something else.

People have figured out you can hax0r the bitzers and get them to warp you to any boss room you want.
That will definitely save you time. If you cleave on top of that, it's feasible.
Super duper secret though, don't tell anyone.
When Sebo said that he takes 120-160 galli daily no one believed him..
Literally told him what he was doing.

When Sebo said that he takes 120-160 galli daily no one believed him.. Now everyone has become an expert after he say this big secret and amazing discovery.. No one knew this before.. And how can he explain to you something that you did not know before, did not see and did not hear about it ever.. It is funny for these idiots here.. I do not mean all but some.. And I respect the wise people here.. But the idiots who talk a lot do not know anything and are only looking to steal information..
I have always said that cleave strat is big, no one knew and did not believe that it works, everyone was follow one strat, there was no research team and everyone was following one strategy, and they were calling the explorers and researchers noobs, and they were the noobs, but they did not know, lol.. It is a funny thing.. Otherwise, now the game has a lot of mystery and secrets that no one knows, such as the secret of sortie lxion, no one knows the whole secret, but it is possible that some people do not want to disclose this secret, and it is possible that no one knows them, and in the end, I follow some topics here, but I do not like to be a chatterbox.. and I still say that I have some secrets, and I said some of them and deleted them for personal reasons, and I said one of them in the ivaar channel in discord and deleted it after that, and some people got it.. and I still have a big secret that I do not tell anyone about, except maybe next year if I finish some things so that some players here learn the lesson, and I know that there are those who believe me because they saw some of the secrets that I deleted, with all due respect, and I did not see anyone Idiots here don't have any useful topics, just bad language towards people. That's all they have.
thnx sepo for telling this big secret and new discovery
You are completely incapable of shutting up aren't you. You already felated him once, no need to go back for sloppy seconds.
Anyone who complained about me harassing poor Aragan here wanna take it back yet? Or does he have to make a further *** of himself.
