It could be that the special event starts Friday with the actual anniversary, as they started the repeat Mandy event today.
 I'm gonna go with this, it might not even be live.
But if theres a scheduled start time, then it stands to reason theres a scheduled end time and getting the +1 boots is a limited time event. |

Did you hear the news? FINAL FANTASY XI's coming up on its 23rd anniversary. It feels like just yesterday that we were going on our first adventure together. I guess it's like they always say: time flies when you're having fun.

Oh, that reminds me... You'll never believe the dream I had last night. In it, the two of us were going on an adventure all across Vana'diel!
We rode chocobos from Lower Jeuno and then headed out to the Boyahda Tree. After that, I nearly jumped out of my boots when we came across a giant wyvern!
Then we were exploring a great hall featuring a statue of Lady Altana herself, followed by some ancient ruins... And before I knew it, we were somehow soaring through the sky! It felt like we were birds or something.
Our next stop was the Shadow Lord's castle. Fortunately, that big pushover was no match for the two of us together! Lastly, we took in the sights as we looked out over Tavnazia from Blueblade Fell. The whole day was like some epic adventure! Isn't that the best dream ever!?
But wait, there's more! I was thinking it'd be nice if you could go out on an exciting adventure like the one we had in my dream.
To that end, I got you an awesome pair of boots! I personally vouch for these babies. They're the best you'll ever own. If you rock them on your next outing, you'll be the envy of adventurers everywhere! I'll leave them with the moogle, so be sure to stop by and pick them up when you get a chance.
I wonder... Do you think my dream will come true eventually? I mean my dream of us setting out on an adventure together someday. I'm sure it'd be a great experience for both of us. So I hope you'll help me make it a reality.
On that note, get out there and continue enjoying your time in Vana'diel!

The boots are Rare/EX, so its not the usual buy 2 and synergy
EDIT:
There's also the Prishe's teardrop item from the DATs, not sure where to get it
Also theres 4 Temp KI's associated with Prishe:
Vision of a destroyed city
Vision of a dreamy forest
Vision of strange ruins
Vision of anger
Assume you get all 4 KIs, then you'll get the Tear.. and synergy Tear + Boots = Boots +1? Needs confirmation Ah my mistake, didn’t see the Rare tag. I looked at the login campaign page, clicked the boots and it popped up with “ Synergize the specified item (required rank: Amateur) to receive a high-quality version.” |

How to +1 the Prishe boots? Is there a quest or something? Usually you need 2 of the same item and synergize them. Login campaign items are typically 10 of a singular element, so hitting the correct fewell once (it’ll appear in the log) and hitting end synergy will produce the +1 |

So I guess Prishe's Teardrop is used to upgrade the Prishe's Boots from login points to the +1 version. Didn't notice Prishe's Boots was rare/ex instead of just ex, I just assumed we synergize two like usual. Now where can we get that teardrop...

Literally gave you the blueprint five years ago (2 pages back) and you're asking if there's any reason you can't do in 2025 what was done half a decade ago. Lol >.>
Just did a 3 BLU strat that involves spamming Entomb in max MAB set and dumping tp (Naegling or Tizona main, Maxentius offhand) on boss. Adds are petrified the entire fight, PLD main heals the group, and RDM/GEO are there for support, though, you can drop the RDM and probably a BLU and do it 4-man. Took about 7 minutes without deaths. |

Yes precisesly, glad that we're on the same page.
Windower devs don't have time to review code and I don't have time to sit arround 6 months for feedback so that other players can enjoy new addons.
That's why I'd rather not deal with Windower anymore as it's a massive bottleneck to innovation, so I decided to part ways and just share addons with people separately.
Nothing personal against you in particular Lili, on the contrary you were the only one who ever replied.
It's just not working for me.

The AoE BLU way is how my buddy and I would duo BLU it. Well, he has a pocket GEO, but other than getting bubbles up, just spam Entomb til it's dead. So you go that way, facing opposite directions so that you each take "turns" in resetting the aura according to who the boss is facing.
And how did you handle healing?
How many Entombs on average until every orc (except boss) was dead? |

Hate reset is every veil, so every 15 seconds full reset Yes but the boss was pretty much fixed on me (BLU), it wasn't jumping around from target to target every hate reset, it felt strange.

With proper GEO bubbles the orcs should die in a few rounds of AoE spells, after which you can swap bubbles and focus on boss.
If it weren't for the hectic hate issues I mentioned, it would've been much faster than the typical melee setup, and without having to worry about Dispels and Silence to avoid Death and Dread Spikes.
Sounds much quicker and faster to explain to random pugs, instead of giving strict instructions to follow about silencing, kill order, having the BRD sleepga and blah blah. |

DW belt runs you into haste issues, can compensate through putting haste on the linos but thats a dip in i think DA or QA, forget what slot haste is on. While putting it on the cape means you lose out on the 7 STP/DA plus 50 acc/macc/meva/eva, i think its a bit of wash no matter how you cut it, ideally you're using samba anyway and the problem solves itself since you only need +9 there

Null Masque
Changed Attribute Singular Long Name- "null masuqe" changed to "null masque"
will this be annoying!? Previously both names were accepted by gearswap (Null Masque and Null Masuqe) beause one was the short name and one was the long name.
Now only Null Masque will be accepted because "Masuqe" disappeared.
So, tl;dr, if you had "Masuqe" anywhere in your lua, that probably won't work anymore now. |

Set is ~2% under the DW cap. Which is probably fine, but I wanted to make sure you're aware of it.
You could "solve" the issue by:
1) Using a DW belt
2) Using a DW+10 Ambu cape
For option 1 the ideal is Reiki Yotai but that's not exactely easy to solo farm, which brings us back to Shetal Stone, that you can easily farm on your own, or NQ gerdr belt. Each of these options means you won't be able to cap haste with the Waist slot, meaning you will need different options. For instance Null Masque or Ayanmo+2 legs.
If you go for option 2, that frees up the 2 earring slots of course.
Nyame feet are an interesting feet option alternative (but only R20+ probably) and likewise Bunzi Head (again, probably just R20+).
