What does this mean on the Blade Kamu page:
"According to the JP Wiki, Blade: Kamu has currently attack +125% and defense -25% modifiers. That translates roughly to a 3.0 attack multiplier"
How does that equal 3.0x?

I use DW cape, Eabani+Reiki with Haste Samba down for 21% (exact cap).
With /DNC Haste Samba up I swap to DA cape (2% DW over cap). With Crep+Reiki I have 20 acc and 9 STP. If I used both DW earrings I would be comparing it to the QA+1 TA+2 windbuffet. The STP might outweight the being overcapped?

currently replaying dq11 and I don't mind missing other things but I gotta have those recipe books! definitive edition is quite good, some really nice qol changes.

Depends on TP thresholds, it should go from like 40k all the way up to 99k in Limbus with Idris Geo support. |

Curious if anyone’s tried Temenos with RDM/NIN Crocea + Daylight Seraph Blade. Anyone get any fun numbers with that? Or just wet noodle? Haven't tried but should be solid with malaise it just has its damage halved like other elemental ws. Tenemos of course gives you double light but you'll need someone to give you weather in apollyon to cancel out the double dark.

I too played for years with no sound, but can still hear them in my head when I visit a zone, easy. could also probably navigate from and to anywhere in almost every zone without a map.

Something funny I also realized is it's possible to do this with no risk of 5/6 of the accounts of being banned, as technically only the Paladin needs to use Tako.
So hypothetically speaking, someone could run a setup with 5/6 "mains" and 1 burner account (being the PLD) and be able to get potentially 130k-140k/run without any of the main accounts being banned, since they aren't using Tako at all, assuming that's the trigger that causes people to get banned here.
That being said, it still requires using packet injection on the Bitzers, but it is yet to be seen whether SE flags/bans for that specifically. It's also difficult to pinpoint since it's likely anyone who injects Bitzers is also using Tako to some degree.
I think if you have a track record of being in a group with person hacking the game in front of your eyes in like 50 sortie runs, then you would be banned for clearly continuously accepting the fact that you benefit from hacks done by someone else, but I might be wrong. |

Jinpu does behave very strangely when hits are missed, how do you tell which hit landed?
My WS acc feels like it dropped massively since adding AF legs+4 into my set. I need to use /checkparam to see if they actually add the acc they say they have on them but keep forgetting.

I can't even remember last time I heard XI music that wasn't from someone else on discord. I've had it off since about 2 years into playing, but I remember liking Rabao... about 18 years ago. Always listening to music or learning from YouTube videos in the background. |

Probably 3-4 years ago at this point, but I had an account suspended within 2 days of using AH packets to buy Alexandrite(at a rate of one bid/3sec, not even max speed). I wasn't leaving it running, my version autostops when a bid fails, so I just cleared out AH. I assumed it was for botting at the time, so I logged back in and did nothing besides buy alex the same way the following few days before it got permaed. I didn't even leave Nashmau.
So, I can decisively say that at one point in time it was clearly banworthy. Not a whole lot of things where you can tie a ban to one specific activity, so I've been ultra cautious about sticking to the legit cooldown since then. |

Microsoft being Microsoft and becoming more and more intrusive.
Out of nowhere, without proper asking consent, they started to automatically sync my home notebook to OneDrive.
And I take a quick look to disable it, and didnt easily find the option.
So, basically they are automatically grabbing every one of my data without individual consent and uploading it to their cloud.
This is a grave privacy infringement. What if they upload my criminal files that would result in my death penalty, and gave it to the authorities?
So, am I hiring a policy to *** me over? If that is the case, better to have it for free...

Top geared Overwhelm 3000TP Tachi: Jinpu with Masamune and marcato Aria (capped attack ofc) can technically break 500k damage (2x QA proc) and will often do 200k+ This clearly shows that 50%DT double dips for hybrid WSs (1st 50% reduction on physical damage, making magical 50% weaker by reducing base damage by half, then reducing magical by another 50%), otherwise you would do 99k Tachi: Jinpu very frequently in Limbus. Fully buffed with 3000TP and some very lucky QA/TA proc you could still make 99k Jinpu in Limbus, but it would be very rare.

I guess ask 10 different people get 10 different answers. the v25 atonement 3 fights were the best fights IMO. Truthfully the most fun and challenging single fights I have ever done and enjoyed. I still remember getting the first v25 Ongo down on Asura, and just like sweating all over watching the timer count down and trying to get the last 1%. Getting a double wild card luck, the silence on the discord on the last skillchain. Adreline took hours to wear off.
Oh my god...Playing FFXI (and romanticizing Ody v25) is exactly like being in a relationship with a narcissistic abuser. *** ...lmao. If you love it so much, why don't you go help the 90% of the player base that doesn't have it? ...oh god, I want to throw up. You do know I helped get you your bumba 25 win right?
