No. All these items, cheap or costly, are not the same with minor differences. An easy example is hypoallergenic. Or sunscreens, many order European sunscreens shipped from Europe as they have far different formulations than American sunscreens.

The +2 neck is in a weird place. It's good, but has such stiff competition in the slot for related stats that it's often questionable if it's worth the cost to buy and further augment.

Moonlight has more Enmity+, while also having the highest SIRD, and meva+15 is nice too. Lacks DT/HP
Unmoving collar+1[R15] has vastly more HP(+200 vs Knight's +60), while having the same enmity+, and and very similar total def values. Lacks DT
Loricate+1[R15] has only 1% less DT, and nearly the same def. Also has 5% SIRD, which can matter sometimes. Lacks enmity+/HP

These leave PLD+2 neck in a position where it is only very slightly better at two things. Total def(2.5~7.5 def ahead of next best), and highest DT(1% ahead). I suppose Knights is also the best chivalry neck(MND+15), though that is incredibly niche, and is a good atk capped savage blade option.

I do have a PLD+2 neck, and I did fully augment it. But it gets used in... surprisingly few places. The need for enmity+/SIRD, or more HP often see it replaced. And... if you didn't have it, Loricate+1 is a fair alternative for raw DT and DEF, and is much, much, cheaper to augment.

Doing a few hrs of nyzul is way less painful that grinding out 70+M gil (or farming the alex yourself in salvage or w/e) I only have 1 mythic and I earned most of my points when nyzul was fresh and relevant content, but I've helped friends so not sure how many tokens I even have now. Doing it once in a while feels fun and nostalgic anyways. (def. not grinding it though)

Also seems way more fun than spamming the same fight over and over again for something that'll never drop.

Although I think I'm gonna do shinryu a few times over the next week or so, maybe I'll get lucky (yeah right....), then I'll adjust what I pick accordingly.

Tryed to talk to several NPC in the circuit, but nothing. Also tryed to change registered chocobo, but same: no option to start a Free run.

The argument "just buy the cloak" doesn't work outside Asura. That ***don't get sold. You cannot buy what no one is selling.

You can choose to get something you *can* buy off the AH, or something you cannot buy at all and may never see again.

I've been rewatching Gen 1 Indigo League of the anime. It's so dopey and the dub is over the top, but it's super comfy nostalgia. Plus I never saw all of the episodes back then anyway.

I would get Crep Cloak because I'm burned out on over 500 VD Shinryu without drop, and the only 2 times I've ever seen a Crep Cloak sold on Asura it was ~200m

Skipping Nyzul is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than skipping Alex, imho.

At least that's what I think in general.
I have a few LS mates who had accrued so many nyzul points they had enough for a plethora of mythics.
Also I guess Nyzul is a bit less bad when you have a Mule.
That way you use the mule's points to go up and your main gets full points.
What really kills my motivation is that even if I do 9k or 10k nyzul runs solo, then I have to remove 1900 points from each run because that's how much I spend to go up.
If you have a Mule to do that instead well... nyzul accruing suddenly becomes much faster I suppose.

The thing about human body is that it is way more complex than the world tries to believe it is.

That is way I hardly believe in people who like to pretend they have control over it.

What I try is to simply apply heuristics on myself and do hypothesis on my own body: if I feel something is not right, or that should improve, I try figuring what could be the reason, try to change variables then check for results.

Some things do work and I can change my condition by changing my routines, others are still hard to understand.

I think I've seen maybe 2 Cloaks being shout sold during free campaign and I wasn't monitoring shouts constantly. Prices for this and similar items (crep dagger, helm and armor) seemed to be somewhere between 25-50 mil if I'm not mistaking.

I don't think the debate about r2 is all that clear cut. Say alexandrite is 300k/stack, that's 90m for a mythic, roughly, meaning you're equating (with good nyzul runs) 7h = 90m. You make 13m/hr? Doing what activity?

Now, for some people gil isn't valuable anymore, but for the person who has 0 mythics (or very few, to the point that they want/need to skip part of it), gil is very much valuable, especially when they still need to buy beitetsus and swarts.

Now granted if it's on a mule you can't take cats eye, but you could make the same argument for the "buyable" stuff like crep cloak. If it sells for 100-200m (idk, nobody sells that ***on Carbuncle), then it seems clear that unless you're making 15m/hr, nyzul isn't the best skip.

this is an interesting question, can you inject cutscenes, maybe create alternate dialogs for the characters in the scene also? I kinda looked at the discussion on the reddit thread and saw that some folks are working on multiplayer, which is awesome! this tool/app/ whatever you want to call it has ALOT of potential, idk if you realize that, but this thing has tons of potential!

We just run/pull from entrance to exit, anything and everything to the end sleep/kill. Any floor/tower/temenos/apollyon/119-135 tankless, most mobs de aggro on central. Only thing is make sure the BRD ain’t far behind, his job to keep it safe.
