Nyzule is my favorite event in game. I could talk about it at length for hours. My record was 96 to 32, legitimate, with 15085 tokens earned. We got 0 lamp floors and 2 free floors! How crazy is that? Also, if you didn't realize this already: You can never get 2 lamp floors in a row!. This has been helpful to me when choosing to push past the 5-minute warning. :)


I get it, but if y'all are turning pitchforks on Byrth, you need to go look in the *** mirror. Re-examine your life and your priorities. Maybe start back up those therapy sessions on BetterHelp? For the first decade of this game's existence, BYRTH was (and perhaps still is) basically "FFXI Jesus".

Pretty sure purely gpt generated code falls into "public domain". The original author maintains copyright and chooses license to distribute with. Author being not a human in this case.

You’re right, the repo was missing a proper license at first. I have added Apache 2.0 now to make things clear.

No strong opinions on licenses, Apache just felt like a reasonable, straightforward choice.

I think my highest ever was 18k. I've made.. 6 mythics. And enough nyzul tokens to make 4 more.

If I had time and interest id do a hackathon to see who is the better coder ;) Unfortunately I dont have either. I use tools to work efficiently and share something useful.

People don't hate nyzul, they hate the order lamp floors.
The players that would claim nyzul skip over cat's eye only do it because gil is meaningless to them so they can just buy their way thru alexandrite part.
If they had to farm the alexandrite manually they'd all take the cat's eye over nyzul skip hands down.

I'd 1000 times rather see someone win the mog bonanza who values the cat's eye over someone who goes for Wyrmseeker of Areuhat.

I miss the time when moderation was slower, so we could have some fun.

I think that plan kinda negates the fun risk factor involved with pushing hard for max points, similar to oddyC runs where you've got 2 minutes left and questioning whether you should kill that pack of penguins. (Don't do it!).

Personally I'd prefer a system wherein upon entry each member is subject to a 60-second basic IQ and following instructions test and those that fail get booted from the party automatically to keep them from blowing lamp order floors because they think they're playing W.O.W.

If you could spend tokens to remove certain objectives/maps from the pool, it'd probably be a worth while investment (particularly solo) remove the order/same time and large map (1k tokens each?) would be a net positive.

Is the whole GUI part of the addon or assumptions you use some form of HUD addon? Its not made clear.

if it helps someone though even with the vibe coded, that's nice and all but (and I'll probably get flack for this) should be transparent when used LLMs, maybe unpopular. Code itself looks to be harmless though.

I'm not sure what value it brings as game shows it pretty visibly when you're locked to a target but I like to play the GUI pretty vanilla.

This is my general use weapon. I absolutely advocate for using it in main healing situations. Likewise, it pair well with Srivatsa. I've tanked most endgame content with it with minimal issues.


Don't forget, that Regen/Refresh can't be dispelled, save for removing the weapon. It might not be game breaking, but it's a lot better than "not much above useless." At least in my opinion.

The only "bad" part of nyzul is just an order lamp floor where they're on opposite ends of a needlessly large floor, otherwise it's pretty chill

Wow, I had no idea that so many people hated Nyzul Isle. I still really enjoy helping people with it to this day. I suppose I understand hating it if you play solo.

If you're comparing efficiency in something, thats probably not the right time to be hyperbolic.
