If you don't have them already, Eabani earring/Reiki Yotai is a great combination to hit 11 and still keep stp with a little meva thrown in. Then you can hit 10 stp on the cape and prioritize high ta in some other slots.

After looking at the options I think I'll just set Molting Plumage for six points to get DWIV and only sacrifice one earring slot. Between Lehko's and my BLU +2 earring I'm good on accuracy so have some maneuvering room. That lets me use Gleti's Body / Legs with a DA or STP cape and a good belt plus other accessories.

To be fair, we see these posts every few months for a varying system. It wouldn't have been that hard for SE to recognize a correct trade and add an error message, or recognize an incorrect trade and note what goes with the R/EX piece.

I think I heard someone mention it before. but bg-wiki didn't.

Unless you looked at the pages that reference it, which are pages about mog kupons, the item's government name, and Vana'bout. But yeah, that's an extra click that could be avoided by labelling it as a prize in Vana'bout, much like mog pell (marble) is for mog bonanza.

The design here was pretty clearly "let's create a problem, and make it really annoying, so doing the quest that offers a solution is highly appealing."

The problem is, 1) Miasmal counteragents can't be used on every miasma, so sometimes you're hitting a "screw you, stand and wait" roadblock anyway and have to go hit your head on a wall until you find the intended detour. 2) Miasmal counteragent has no use outside this one problem created specifically to force you to use it, so nobody's going to waste inventory space on a supply of it normally like they might for prism powder and hatchets (especially at 12 a stack!) 3) You can only produce counteragent between visits to the zone, none of the materials required to synth it - right down to the crystals - exist in the zone unless you bring them in with you.

If you're leaving Abyssea - Attohwa and coming back day after day, yeah, maybe you'll start packing the "make the mean smoke go away" potions, but if you're going in like twice a year for marathon sessions when you want to make empyrean weapons, you're going to forget just how annoying the miasmas are, go in, get some light started up, hit your first red light, and think "argh this zone is do frustrating, who ever thought this was a smart idea."

P.S. is there any genuine data to prove shells and other items drop at a higher rate with TH or not?
I'm confident that TH helps with pop items, but not sure on the weapon items.

Of course it is this. But as they make old content easier this is a nice example where they could make the real zone and the abyssea zone consistent and waste less time.

Yes, I've just now pushed an update which adds R30 Murky and Alabaster gear, Archduke's Sword/Shield, and Blurred Knife.

You should only need to update the gear.py, item_list.txt, and icons32/ files to begin testing these.

Not a japanese story, but Jolies Ténèbres is quite interesting story.

I really liked how subtle and meaningful the allegory was written
