Best time to get a new puppy is when you got lots of free time to train em...

Cats are just such a problem for me... spent a week with one all it did was annoy me... tried to break it of it’s nocturnal tendencies cuz it would walk all over me while I was asleep and when you locked it out of the room it just shined or destroyed something... I was led to believe they were low maintenance and such but no... I prefer taking the dog out and playing with me to a cat any day...

Sorry to hear it passed so quickly though...

I'm ready for a new dog now. Bf wants to wait longer which is the smarter idea so I wait. I used to spend a lot of time each day out of my room taking dog out and junk. Now I'm just in my room and next thing I know it's like 10pm.

Dogs are great and as I’ve found out first hand recently cats truly are a pain in the ***.
Cats are awesome pets too. I had a cat that showed me the light of owning cats. Then she died after like 2 months of having her -_-

You better just get a puppy when you're done grieving. They're great to have around. I've had depressive tendencies my whole life, and animals are great for putting things into perspective. regardless of my feelings on the thoughts of the day, they still need me to get my *** up, let them out, and give them food and water. they don't know what's up, they are just homies. I can't really afford to be a lazy piece of ***with them around, and sometimes that little kick in the *** is all I need to get moving. sounds pretty pathetic now that I type it out, but *** it, it's the truth.

wild animals are great for that too. it's nice to see love and understanding out of things that aren't human. universal truths and all that. neat.

or wait! I mean yeah, don't get any pets. for reasons. uhhh..... save money on foods? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This year has been pure garbage. My dog died suddenly the weekend I started a new semester. Then less than a week later one of my rats died. Another week later my last rat was depressed since his brother died and stopped eating. So we took him in to let him pass since it was coming anyway. I have no pets atm, it's quiet and sad. This past fall I was accepted into a registered vet tech program. Basically a nurse for animals.

well that's ***! Life seems to lump a bunch of bad stuff together like that, it's never real fun. my condolences. My middle daughter got a rabbit, if that makes you feel any better.

School should be fun. Bless all you docs and nurses, I couldn't do it. I find our innards and inner workings and such to be highly revolting. My wife is going to school to be a nurse for humans, and tells me what they're learning about, and I just say "icky".

Rabbits are so cute! We recently volunteered at a rabbit shelter. Would not recommend. I have high grades so far, interesting and keeps me busy. The advanced courses have like surgical stuff I'm excited. Going to try to not get new pets but it's hard when I've had dogs and pets for stress relievers for like 19 years of my 29 years alive.

I hate people so much.

THIS JUST IN....from the useless advice given way too late to be effective department...

Swim EAR is what we used to clear the "water" out of the kids' ears when we took them to one of those bacterial / viral gestation and mutation factories...

of course every time I start to rejoice that godawful phase of our lives is over I am reminded that grandkids are just beyond the visible horizon...and we'll have to live it all over again.

Morning NI, I hope it finds you well.

All apologies for the delay, I was in a place only Dante could describe. GREAT WOLF LODGE!!! as the boy is fond of yelling at the top of his lungs. It's a god damn parent ripoff center that they advertise on the cartoon channels 24/7 and it was all he could talk about for the last couple years. THEY GOT HIM. my small boy, targeted and nailed to the wall by scumbag marketers. There were stupid booger pickin' knee high monsters as far as the eye could see. so many rubes that enormous stupid lines formed for the elevators at nearly all times... I hate people so much... inevitably some hick would go right past the entire line with his rabble of children, and just hop on the elevator like no one was there. I nearly bit my tongue off trying to resist the urge to kill him in front of 35 toddlers... no one watches their kids. no one notices anything. I had a lot of bloody marys there.

anywhoooooooo

I'm still pluggin' away on grand kingdom for the moment. I might have grown too lazy.

sup in the rest of the world? the hounds still at the door? what *** day is it?

Bonfire of the thursdays! throws yours cares aways friends...

my biggest gripe is people told me that it’s cheaper to live in a red state

You have no one to blame but yourself Sugar Britches. It's your own fault for believing them...

People lie for a lot of reasons... but one of the biggest reasons is they simply don't know the truth. And they don't want to look stupid so they just blurt out the first thing that pops in their head.

There is an ancient and mysterious Sicilian Method of "facial tells" to detect when someone is lying to you... but it only works when you are speaking to them face to face. It's a subtle art passed down from father to son, through the generations, for thousands and thousands of years. But, since you obviously were born with the tragic inability to tell when people are lying to you, I will share it with you now....

ewwww.....TMI

also get a job ya bum...

early retirement....pfffft

I probably wont get to retire until they start shoveling dirt on top of my coffin.

I recall hearing you chased a skirt to okc... but I must have been to poor to pay attention to the details...

miss chicago yet
I do miss it but I won’t be stuck here forever... we plan on moving back in a couple of years... I’m still considering if I want to go back to work or not...
You run, you run from this hell hole and you never look back.
The biggest difference is the main cities... Chicago blows okc away... the “hip” part of okc is a joke... as for the suburbs there’s not too big a difference... my biggest gripe is people told me that it’s cheaper to live in a red state like this and that’s ***... it’s more costly to go to a movie theatre here and the theatres are just not as good either... you definitely don’t get as much bang for your buck out this way...
