well odds gotta be better with just the fact of them deleting those cursed items, as by far, Ive gotten more of those on LT then any other item.

This event doesn't really feel any different to me. There is a higher reward tier, but they promoted too much *** to the pool so it's essentially the same as it was. Venus orbs are 'more rewarding' but for the cost, you're still possibly getting better mileage from mars orbs.
By gregchiro2013 on 2025-11-10 20:10:33
For best results for anything using random numbers, keep all other variables the same. I do same zone, same pattern, same orb, and yes, same time of day (I find times of day/night when traffic is lower gives better results) I most likely have done most orbs in the game with 15 full time fully geared and mastered chars....Yes...no life...

If it's true that the double attack ammo still procs 25% while only depleting 10% of total gil when it's below 1k it would still make that ammo BiS at a heavy discount exclusive to people who already benefit from the reward multiplier - multi boxers.

They'll simply have their pocket GEO hold the DDs gil and feed them 949 when their threshold falls below 50 and they don't need to go all out.

SE made this to funnel gil out of the economy and instead of draining it where most of it is accumulated, the multi boxers, they let the solo players pay the bill.

Screenshot didn't work, but I have the log.

I started with the front center chest and worked my way around clockwise. When there were only two chests left, the final one - immediately to the right of the first one I opened - turned prismatic.

Still 8 here, but friend jumped from 7 to 8 on login.

Will be interesting to see what common ground these r9s have, Apart from a escutcheon (plz no), the latest couple of master trials and 2 mog garden titles (over a year away from them, lol) I don't really have anything meaningful left to do apart from let my game time rack up...

Would like to see this too - will put together something in a few days for a formatted post. I do have an escutcheon but still 8, so I'm gonna try to knock out a few more campaign ops since that's what ranked me up last time. I do have a 3 99 monstrosity monsters (slime) and something like 145/154 species unlocked.

Yeah, Monstrosity matters a lot for some reason. That's what pushed me from 7->8. Just max out as many as you can.

EDIT: Also, don't forget Chocobo Digging. That pushed me from 6->7.

Yeah, I've maxed digging and crafting and most other things possible. Several chocobos raised and dozens of race wins, etc.

The last two things I ever intended to "complete" in this game were the escutcheon spirit grind and the monstrosity species grinds, but I might have to reevaluate them now. I just find the latter so insanely boring as the most efficient way to level is spamming synced level 30 EP mobs or whatever was shared. It sucks the campaign is basically useless for extra EXP on it. I regret not taking advantage of the moogle ambu for it while it was up.

At the very least, I've been very lackadaisical over the last half year since I "already hit 8" and was slowly working on things with low motivation, and this kind of reinvigorated me to play more at least.

Got this from an ITG. It had 30 Astral D crystals inside.
By Jakey on 2025-11-10 19:32:02
Hmmm. so far it sounds like continuing the ML 50 grind is more worth my time than going for mastery over 8.
By Meeble on 2025-11-10 19:25:30
You're not getting 30 stat, though. Most players aren't even MR8, much less 9 or 10.

It's still good at MR6~7, but on top of the gil cost low MR players are faced with potentially hundreds of hours flailing around at old content and checking their profile to hopefully see number go up.

So now mastery rank means something lol

Classic SE, releasing something with no "initial" reward or meaning a long time prior to it meaning something, and then watching the masses tough mudder RUN to complete previously "meaningless" objectives that have been sitting there for years. I gotta pop my collar to whoever at SE has been hitting us with these Sabiki Rigs for years. We still aint learned to get AHEAD of it before the major update that is inevitable. Just masterful, works every time.
By Byrthnoth on 2025-11-10 19:06:46
idk if a +30 stat earring is really the best item in the game. In terms of DPS boost, the Gil Toss ammo crushes it for most jobs.
By Eiryl on 2025-11-10 19:02:38
It always meant something

Now it means you can use the best item in the game

Mars or Venus?

Prior to this update, a Loud Thud was a Loud Thud and it's contents did not vary depending on the orb used. I don't see a reason to believe this has changed, since. I believe that still the only difference between orbs is the chance to get a loud or itg in a single battlefield.

They must have changed something I was rank 6 before this update.
15 with rank 7

I'm doing a quest in Carpenter's Landing that requires an item from monsters on the barge, and just learned there is an entrance to the Landing and Barge Pier from North Sandy. Over 20 years in and never knew this existed xD

I just want to read the trials and tribulations of the new people throwing themselves into full game completion for a few more stat points. There's.... So much content, oof

People who don't normally do quests going title hunting and experiencing things like the tavnazia fisherman escort quest or other dumb ones just gives me a big smile
Yesterday I rode an Airship from San d'Oria to Jeuno on a Full Moon just for a title. NMs in low-traffic areas like Tiamat, Jormungandr, and Ash Dragon have been dead every time I have gone to check on them (*** asura). People are definitely sufferingexperiencing it.

Haven't seen it mentioned, but does anybody know if killing the wave 1 boss in the new dynamis triggers the armor unlock for everybody in the zone or just the party that got the kill?
By Tokimemofan on 2025-11-10 17:12:29
Well as far as I’m concerned this Dynamis divergence shared thing is a complete waste for its intended purpose. There’s a bug that arbitrarily prevents you from summoning trusts so at this point there’s not really any use for the content for “solo” players

Whereisdynamis.com wen? Lol

Wasn't what you were looking for exactly but, thanks for the idea (this website is absolutely awful please do not judge me too harshly please and thank you)

If you're looking for suggestions, maybe add a time elapsed to the active ones so it's clear which one just started and which is about to time out(if not already cleared).

It looks fine, tells people what they want to know without any fluff.

Solid idea, thanks, will do that

Incoming mass of gil sales. Gotta have it for proc rate lol

Asura.Zirk said: »
Do you get a higher proc rate at 999 gil?

Just tested with 999 gil, and the rate definitely degrades as you lose gil, so maybe the rate is gil/1000.

First test I started at 500 gil, so that's probably how I got ~25% (starting at 50% and going to 0%).

Maybe this is set up similar to the raetic weapons and mp?
By Boredwithyou on 2025-11-10 16:40:20
If you need I have Buukki, definitely makes it easier to play
By Eiryl on 2025-11-10 16:38:27
Hey quitter you can't do that. You're not finished now.

You're compelled to rank 9.
By NynJa on 2025-11-10 16:37:04
Finally had time to turn in my pre-farmed temps, time to rake in those matters knowing we have the max possible drop rate!

2/6 in Temenos
3/6 Apollyon

i don't think i saw anyone testing it on here so i might as well ask (unless i missed it)

what happens if you don't have 1000 gil with the enchantment up?

Ok, I tested this, and it is weird:
-0 gil: no procs
- between 1k gil and 0 gil: randomly procs but will use 10% of your current gil

So you will go from 88 gil to 80, 72, 65, etc.

Maybe about 25% proc rate. Was dual wielding and never got a 4 hit round, only 3s.

Were you wearing 0 double attack in other gear / sub job? Like it wasn't a regular double attack proccing with the ampulla buff active and it was triggering gil loss.

Yep, 0% DA/TA/QA other than the ampulla. It was working for a while until I got less than 50 gil. Watched for a while after that but no more procs.

I was watching my gil, and whenever I did get a proc, I'd see the gil drop.
