Have an apartment viewing today, hopefully everything looks good because out of everything I looked at so far this looks like the best housing/neighborhood for the price.
that reminds me of a story..... [PARKER sighs deeply]
my wife and I were apartment hunting and we came across this great place and made the appointment and took the tour and everything was going well...
and we head to the apartment office and the apartment lady was kind of eyeballing us.... but I was wearing my well dressed man disguise at the time, full business suit, dress shoes the whole nine....
and I was all "it all looks great... we'll take it" finally the lady says ummm I don't know how to say this... but I don't think you will qualify... and I was all /wtf!?face ...qualify?
and she's like no...no... what I mean is this is um..you have to apply for it... and... well it's ahhh process that looks at your income and...
finally another lady chimes in and says it's section 8...
I exploded...this place is brand new!! it's nicer than the one I'm paying eight hundred bucks a month for now and you're telling me I make too much money to live here. WTF!?

Oh,
I bought "kerbal space program" for the ps4, looks silly as hell, try to launch aliens into space and hijinks ensue.
"conan exiles" looks promising as a multiplayer one, but doesn't come out until the 8th.
still don't want to work, but I'm starting to get a small-ish backlog.
