JP's couple years ago would always swap equip to boot me from viewing their equip. Now i know to /check "name". ^^ I'm axle and i'm a checkaholic.

I don't freak out about it, but I don't tend to do it, either. That being said, I think your advice is a bit drastic. 8P

I find it hilarious when I check people who freak out about it though they have a bazaar up. Don't sell it unless you want people to look. Seriously!

Only time I ever got a GM call on myself was because apparently I checked a JP player and he didn't like being checked so he filed a harassment call on me. Half an hour later I get kicked off and had to wait 4 hours for the GM to tell me what the ban was for. Apparently since I had checked the player more than once it was considered harassment @_@

Some girl was seeking and bazaaring in the dunes once when I was a noob. Since I was right next to her, I checked her to see her job/level instead of /sea'ing for it, and then checked her bazaar. She blew a gasket on me, so I told her to take her bazaar down, /anon herself, and sit in her house all day if it was such a problem. I think she blisted me. D:
Edit: Check me all you want, I try to have cute check box comments up usually just for the checkers. xD

I... don't understand the phobia about being checked. I routinely /check other PLD just to see what they're geared like and get ideas. If someone's got a neat looking item equipped I wanna see what it is, and what the bonuses are. If someone wants to check me... well, whatever, big deal. It's not like /check offers a window to the user's soul >_<
Though occasionally I like to stand in a populated area and type /em examines you. Just to see what happens without me actually checking anyone.

I don't check often but when someone changes gear when I do check them...
It's on. /check name AND SPAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow did I piss off a THF hunting VE like 3-4 years ago. Went to see if VE was up. THF JP hunting VE. I check gear swap. started spamming and gear swaping didn't stop. I got claim because he was to busy switching gear.

I check people a lot just because as a noob i got in the habit of checking mobs even if I know they're Too Weak. Idk...
I check people to see if they are brave enough to augment stuff. I check people to see what their wearing. I check people to read bazaar comments. I check people on accident. I check people on accident. Seriously, I always accidentally check people. I check Impossible to Gauge mobs mid fight out of habit. I check mobs while I'm running by even if I'm 75 in West Ron. Idk... idm being checked if I did I'd just put a filter up anyway.
