She can't be forcibly removed from office, but the commissioners should have the authority to suspend her pending a decision to impeach and most definitely have the authority to suspend or fire the staff. I think KY as a state opposes same-sex marriage still and many KY politicians simply don't want to be associated with supporting same-sex marriage. She is on her way to jail and the deputy clerks will issue the licenses. Except for one, her son. Kentucky clerk won't accept gay marriage deal, goes to jail
