Problem being with your theory is that the nationalists in this country are the people who hate communism and socialism. I was in two weddings last year. Cake eaten zero. Drinks consumed umm the usual amount !

I'm not going to instruct you when it's ok and when it's not. I encourage you to explore a "trial and error" method. Repeated attempts will likely qualify as "repeated acts of annoyance" and result in harassment charges as per most state harassment statutes.
