Also, I only own one record. It's an originalearly-run (I'm not positive it's original) pressing of Led Zeppelin's IV.

Make fun of anyone for owning that and you should consider a hot cup of hemlock.

I never understood the concept of hipsters.
I know their "thing" is supposedly not being bound, expressive or identified through conventional brand name products and the like. Yet at the same time, they're caught with iphones, drinking starbucks, etc. and boast about knowing things before they were cool or mainstream.

I just don't get it. They're like try-hards of being anti-conformist, yet are?!

Yep, they're individuals, just like everyone else.

All I know is they're walking contradictions :/
Though I will admit, I dislike being called one simply for enjoying particular things. I can't help that tube amps and vinyl go together so damn well.

I LOVE my analog setup. Solid state stuff is fine for CD's and MP3's, but it's just not the same thing. And, like every hipstderp, I had them before they were trendy.

I guess that's the thing. I can take being called a hipster as a good-natured ribbing because a don't really care. Vinyl sounds good, I just actually don't have the time or patience to *** around with records.

But I despise Apple and Starbucks. Which...yeah. I don't get why hipsters like them. Because...it doesn't get much more corporate and mainstream.

The entire idea of "serious" hipsters is *** laughable.

Most of the "hipster" things I like, I liked before it was a trend and I'll like after it was a trend. I have zero shits to give.

Pretty much.

Though I admit it's nice having things that I like being available and easier to find/with a bigger variety. So I'll take it while I can.

Edit: I'll be interested to see how long some trends last, actually. I keep thinking the geekdom thing is going to run out of steam soon, but super hero movies keep coming, fantasy and scifi keeping selling well, etc.

I have to wonder how long the international community of adults who refuse to grow up can keep this going.

Seriously. I'm like, the worst kind of person. I really am.

I will take the things I like from any trend, make them my own, and then make fun of the things about that trend I don't like. Craft beer? Beards? Coffee shops and writing?

Gimme.

Scarves, skinny jeans, shitty bands that aren't popular for a reason? *** awful.
I think I finally understand myself... Thank you Remy.

As for the hipster discussion. I'm pretty sure what hipsters originally represented no longer exists and now like most things it's become very... Fabricated and mainstream, losing most if not all traces of the original style/culture.

...I live in shorts.

I despise pants. With a passion.

Even shorts aren't ideal.

Kilts need to be more socially acceptable.

First thing I do when I get home from work is take my pants off.

As long as I'm not at work I wear shorts any time there's less than three inches of snow and I wear them inside at home year round.

Admittedly most of them are cargo shorts or gym/basketball shorts.

Because those skinny, tight hipster things aren't shorts. They're ball-crunching fakes.

JAROMIR JAGR IS GROWING HIS MULLET AGAIN

Quote:
This is the most important NHL news of the year, neigh the entire season. Like, we didn't need a ton of reasons to be excited about hockey this year but JAGR'S MULLET IS BACK!!! Gosh it's so exciting. This is a challenge to you, people of Florida. The Panthers have had terrible attendance for a while. Now you have the option to see JAGR MULLET live and in-person. It's a privilege most of us would kill for. Do not squander it.

Even if you're not a hockey person you know the popularity of the mullet in hockey in the 90s. And Jagr's was always the best, the same way he was among the best players of those years. Follow link for projected images of what current-day Jags would look like with a mullet.

Not from the same story, but I saw a quote from the man himself saying he was going to grow it again to find out, "If he was just that good back then or if it was all the hair."

Not just one of the all-time great players, Jagr is seriously one of the greatest personalities in hockey ever.

yeah, I have no issues with fonts. the demo runs fine, but game itself is not running properly, and patches dont detect the game as installed.
also seem to be missing a file or 2 that do not appear in the data folder as they should.

all the installers i have , I got them a few yearsa go, and installed properly on the laptop (win8) before I clean installed win10
