I'm inclined to agree with the "Silly *** Texas" part right now.

TIRED!

Does flooding Aelius's house prevent male pattern baldness?

*ahem*

Because you're a big boy now, Dread. You're expect to track these things on your own.

What Dread needs to do is start pounding tumblers of coffee, and by lunch, he won't remember what he blasted through in the morning!

Well how long have you been on my pearl!? I feel like I should be doing you the favor of reminding you of these things. It's my duty as a largely absentee shellholder! (Though I have enjoyed the dual-shell functionality these days. It's nice to be home more.)

It's *** morning time.

someone has to teach me to play civ 5 proper. I'm stuck between warlord being too easy & prince being doable but fairly annoying. money seems to be my issue. or lack there-of that is.

Mid-game money and happiness are at a premium, unless you prepare for that. Early markets are your friend. If you have luxury resources to spare, don't be afraid to trade them for gold per turn, or even lump sums if needed. Don't fall into the AI trap of trading luxury resources for strategic resources, and here is why.

Let's say you have 5 iron. You build 5 swordsman. Now France is like "Bonjour mon ami. I will give you 3 iron and some gold for those spices, wii?"

So now you think "Sweet, 3 more swordsman! My army is invincible!" Not so fast. 30 turns later, you no longer have access to the 3 iron, putting your iron at -3. Do your swordsman vanish? Certainly not, however, all off your iron based units will have a penalty (I believe 20%) to their fighting strength until you get out of negative iron. The AI knows this. They will try to give you resources knowing that they are essentially useless to you, unless you are currently at war. So if the AI offers me horses or iron etc, I always switch it for more gold.

Also trade routes are a HUGE help for money gain, though I don't recall if they are in vanilla or not.

hmmmmmm... I suppose it depends on how bald he is before it happens?....he certainly won't be getting any balder if he doesn't quickly figure out what is going on and swim his way out of there....

Had an lsmate bitching that it was cold yesterday because it was 60 degrees and raining.

I was absolutely astounded.

"I'm sorry, I can't hear you behind all this snow and my hood and hat because my ears will freeze off."

Next thing you know they'll try telling me some ***like 90 degrees isn't too *** hot.

There are people here who complain when it's 40 lol.. They don't know real cold so that's cold to them.

I remember walking around florida and the heat was literally sapping the life from me and and those *** were walking around without a care in the world.
