I'm wondering what your opinion on my TP sets is.

well, most of the time you're gonna be /war, no? so alternating between focus and aggressor sorta makes a focus up set pointless. If you *really* need the acc then eat pizza or sushi or w/e

Would use the second tp set and use aesir instead of moonshade. Would reconsider the moonshade, 3 counter and 4 acc isn't so great.

PC up set is fine, think that's really just 2 pieces though.

Is'nt focus up\down sets pretty lame anyways, unless you know the exact evasion of your target? (Like greater colibris back in the day)

Melee Gloves +2 are a viable option. I believe you are only short 0.4% haste from the true cap. BB, Tantra Head and Hose all have a lot of Haste on them in 1 junk, this is better than a lot of gear with small %s of Haste stacked up.

Atm I use 2 sets myself:

Tantra Head, Faith, Melee Gloves +2 - Just good allrounder

Ganesha, Rancor Collar, Tantra Hands +2 - When I want more power and dmg taken dosn't matter

Both setups work around +1D from skill. Bruisers not needed.

I like ganesha, rancor, tantra hands better because you're only losing 5 acc and 7 str ... but you gain 5% crit rate and 4% att.

Again, if you *need* the acc, eat fewdz

You'd be surprised, both setups are pretty even on ATK in reality. Faith + Melee Gloves +2 actually have a little edge with buffs.

I don'T know why but the more buffs you have the better the first setup does against Ganeshas setup in the attack part.

For example:

No buffs: First setup 1ATK more
RCB + berserk: First setup 7ATK more

It must be the way the % ATK are calculated. My guess is Berserk, Boost and other buffs simply ignores the 4% ATK on Ganeshas in regards of increasing their own potency.

So it really only comes down to +16 Suble Blow vs +5% Crit +10% damage taken. Obviously the Crit is better, the first setup more comfortable for lowman things.

Some more data on the Ganesha's Mask issue:

MNK/WAR naked: 507 ATK
MNK/WAR with Ganesha only: 527 ATK
MNK/WAR with Mel. Gloves+2: 528 ATK

With Berserk

MNK/WAR naked: 633 ATK
MNK/WAR with Ganesha only: 653 ATK
MNK/WAR with Mel. Gloves+2: 660 ATK

This should count for % Boosts like Berserk, Boost, Chaosroll etc

I use Red Curry Buns on everything that isn't Voidwatch (except for a few), and well... on anything we aren't zerging in Voidwatch I use Marinara Pizza +1 so I can lolproc stuff easier.

I have 78 cooking, but unfortunately cooking isn't exactly profitable enough for me to bother gathering materials when I can't HQ everything. :/

well, i assume people at least use yellow curry... red if you have the gils.

so pizza(+1) or sushi if you need acc, whatever floats your boat :3

Ditch the TOAU ring, switch the Ammo piece out, the new +15 attacks good sub and lose the Kemas, should be capping acc (Unless doing Voidwatch then that's different)

Edit, if you dont have sea togue, use rancor collor :)

This is my ws setup for Shijin Spiral.

I was questions on heads pieces, belt, neck and hands.

I have Aias Bonnet for head wonder would that be better then the Tokon?
Would Tantra hands or Melee Gloves+2 be better?
Light Belt or Anuguinus Belt? Why?
And should I ws in Ire Torque+1 or Agasaya's Collar?

If you could leave a reason why would be awesome.

melee +2 cuz 21 attack > 7, anguinus cuz fTP on light belt isn't on all hits like some other new WS, and both of those necks suck *** for it, so use something like justiciar's, moepapa, or ele gorget if you're cheap

Is what I use most of the time. I've been switching between Brutal Earring and Bruiser's earring, playing around with it. Of course I love the Brutal for the +DA, and wouldn't imagine anything else when I /nin, but 90% I'm /war, So... +Bruiser's gives me 450h2h with everything else pushes att to 652, iirc. Can't log due to payment issues atm. I know the "haste boots are bad, m'kay" rule, but this brings me to 24%, and helps ACC, Kick att+, and Subtle Blow, and I hit pretty hard. Been contemplating what to drop the Rajas ring for. Open to any suggestions. I have Ulthalam's Ring, and couple other options. Just curious about the general opinion.

Drop the silly looking feet and use Emp+2 feet. They are definitely better. If you're going to use the +2 relic hands I would highly suggest dropping the Ganesha's Head for the empy +2 or relic+2 head to get your haste back up. It will make a difference in your DoT. And make up your mind on earrings. I go with the brutal/bruiser's combo personally.

Like I said, I often rely on the Aesir/Bruiser's, unless I'm /nin for some reason, then I usually Aesir/Brutal. /war, have played around with Brutal/Aesir and Brutal/Bruiser's a bit. That's a loss of quite a bit of attack swapping the Ganesha's though. And, why are the Sava feet silly? -.-'
I'm not trying to be controversial, but the loss of 1% haste doesn't seem that huge, I don't recognize a huge difference, but I'm sure there is a bit. And, I was mostly curious about what, if anything anyone would suggest swapping with the Rajas ring with.

I guess in a situation where you have haste full time and marches the 2% haste isn't going to matter. But if you are unbuffed and in a low man situation those extra few hits are going to make a difference if the fight gets drawn out. I would advise you to download a parser and check your sets out in dynamis for a week or so trading gear sets out every day to find what works best. That's what I did and that's the suggestions I made to you. Because with me it did give me more DoT.

You could use Strigoi ring > rajas if you wanted extra attack. Aside from that I've never really bothered with rings for MNK.

Also those feet you are using just increases the chance of kick attacks. The emp+2 feet give kick attacks damage plus~ So you are losing out on 8 STR which will increase your base attack. And losing out on the extra Kick attack damage, which makes you do even more damage.

Edit: This is my TP set, plain simple caps haste and get's the most attack I can without sacrificing. Also I use Toci's Harness when Impetus is down.

You lose 5atk/5acc/2str/MA bonus with impetus down using Toci's, why?

Also, Rancor/Brutal/Aesir is better than Faith/Bruiser/Brutal.
