FFXI is heavily dependent on two things only; Time and gil. To make gil you need time... so i guess you could argue it's only dependent on one thing if you so desired. Communication should actually play only a slight role in the success of a group anyways.. the players should know how to do their jobs. Anything that needs to be known can easily be transmitted by a /l or /p macro.

Is it gill like a fishy? Or some other stupid pronunciation... i do have a jp friend irl who says giroo when talking about ff13 lol... so if a jp says giroo then i'd wager its gill as in the fishies. But i shouldn't make fun of her too much cuz i sometimes mispronounce it as "girl" with my f'ed up vietnamese accent. Giru = Gil
