Now, in terms an idiot like you can understand, going 70-80 haste is changing every 100 delay from 30 to 20. This means you're getting 1.5x as many hits in per samurai. 3 SAM * 1.5 damage means that before considering box step, dnc cures, or dnc's damage themselves, you're looking at the same damage as 4.5 dncless SAMs. DNC is good, albeit most people are terrible at playing it and even more people are too stupid to realize how good 10% haste is.

Double march + haste + hasso = 70% haste. Let's say all 3 sams are equal and we add a 4th sam. Each sam will represent 100%. 400% in total of a sam. (which makes sense as we have 4 equal sams) Now let's take all 3 sams and add another 10% haste As compared to the 100% of a sam, haste samba will increase haste to 80% 10/(100-80) = 10/20 = 50% increase Each sam that represented 100% now gets a 50% increase 150 + 150 + 150 = 450% of your original sam 450 > 400. The haste samba alone is worth more than the extra sam. This is w/o even considering the enfeebles, cures, and damage a dnc has to offer.
