First Merge Impressions?

We had over 4,000 people online and about 48 LFP. LOL!

but really, that's a ***load of people.

I would of thought so too, but I was expecting at least 100 LFP. However I noticed a lot more shouts for isnm, missions, nyzule isle, etc.

Hmm, may be everyone that plays doesn't have a low level anymore?
To me the funnest part of the game, is starting a new job, getting new gear etc.
But there is no such thing as a party from level 12-40.
At least on Fairy, well Slyph what ever our name is now.

Most of the Pandemonium players seem pissed to be stuck on Asura and shout a lot of negative things at us. We're getting along great obv.

How can you tell if its a merge person?
Like from another server?

Meh yeah lots more people not that many more seeking though a bit disappointing but hopefully that will improve as people get things strait and everything settles down.
As for 1st impression goes I will reserve making any major lasting judgments from the shouts I have seen there are a few people understandably bitter about names and being a bit lost finding their friends but misplacing their anger aiming it towards Sylphians making it look bad. Although, the few I have actually talked to so far have all been good people, redeeming their server from the few who made it look bad.

I personally haven't noticed a difference at all.
But yet I haven't been to white gate sense the merge.
Hopefully things will change, I already canceled my account for the month, if I hear that things improve, I'll try just once more.

Not really surprising that people might not be partying as much.. The day after a version update. I mean, new NMs, new weapons that actually don't seem to suck and cost nothing to get, some people got shipped from their homes to another server in which they likely had to spend time and effort getting back into their previous groups..

A bit too soon to really tell whether it will be much of an improvement, especially considering that there are likely more people on than the norm just from the update and merge, "to see how things are."

My night was spent with Lakshmi players, haven't really pegged many Garuda players, yet.. Did have a Garuda party show up in E Ron while we were doing Colibris.. They were polite enough to take another camp, so I can't say anything negative.

And yeah, this is in Sylph, but it's a general thing with the server merges. Population statistics and whatnot says we're all more or less the same, anyway :P

Today was one of the few times I've ever felt Bastok being laggy. Will this become the norm?

Asura doesn't really understand our pande humor yet. A lot of my friends got /blisted today... /sigh

But overall I like asura. So far... we'll see how you guys are with end game content...

I would have to say overall i like the merge, might actually be able to find people to help with random events. Some people were negative earlier in the day but they'll probably start getting along when they actually start to know each other

I have to do the update over a few days (Dont ask -_-) So, I Dont get to have an opinion yet.. Cant wait to get on and hopefully get a million PT invites on BRD though..

So far, My impression on Leviathan is that they're all stuck up and don't give a damn about trying to bond with their new roomies... It makes me want to quit the game... honestly.

This scenario is visa versa as both "servers" were doing it.

This is just ridiculous...I really thought there was going to be a flat out war in the middle of whitegate this morning.

Ya i saw that too this morning, total BS, my buddy bern started handing out free teles after that. Honestly they should of changed the name of the merged servers to something diffrent :) and made everyone rename! Im really looking forward to getting to know the transfers, need to meet more crazy mofo's like myself

I've heard about some very immature actions taking place on behalf of remorans.

Immature actions have taken place on both sides and they still continue. TBH this merger was meant to help people get things done...not hinder it even more than it is...

/shrug I'm not being a *** to people just because theyre from remora; i could care less. ive just been blisting all the people who started bitching about which server was greater than which server, and the other complainers.
