SO! Had to buy a new laptop and I did. I'm excited because its MILES better than my old one. Just have to finish with the updates then work on reinstalling FFXI afterwards. For a laptop its pretty beastly, lol. I know for a fact this sucker will be able to run XIV without a hitch~!

I soloed it on SCH/NIN using drain+helix spam @ fay spring. If you intend to straight tank it though it could be a problem; it has enstun and hits like a truck! Idk though ~ if the PLD kites it and the PUP uses nuke automaton you should be ok! Good luck guys :) Oh, and watch out for the elemental! I think my setup was, RDMx2 [1 of them had to log-off before the NM spawned], NIN, THF & me BRD, and halfway towards the end of the battle a WHM, needed the extra healing power.. that thing hits like a truck! :P
