Yeh so like why cant you all just post in the regular LS thread? Always complaining about not being accepted by society blahblahblah well no wonder when you segregate yourselves.
Ever consider the possibility that for gay folks, threads with constant talk about straight sex might be as uncomfortable as you having to read about gay sex? That, and you've already attacked them as "abnormal" and other terms with zero provocation in the past. These guys quietly started their own thread. They didn't complain. You were the one that found the need to be a ***.
No really though, seeing as this is a thread for the gay community can someone shed some light on why the gay community feels the need to have gay pride marches? I don't know any other minority group that feels the need to rub it in other peoples faces, does it not shout hypocrisy seeing as your free to choose your lifestyle choice (which is an opinion the gay community all preach religously), surely its unfair to enforce it on other people, you gays.. I mean guys, would know this more than most?

We dont exactly rub it in your face. We just quite simply like to enjoy the fact that we can be who we want to be. the gay marches are just to show confidence i guess, its exactly like having the Manchester Pride here.
That prolly made no sense but im kinda drunk etc.
in short
Gtfo our thread, you have your thread and we'll have ours
We dont need trolls
in ALL honesty, its the straight people thats *** up society

We do not feel the need to rub it into others faces, but you sure seem to feel the need to come in here and try to put us down. You simply can not look in this topic, it really is not hard.
Also, as for no other minority's making themselves known, what do you call black history month?(And no, I do not mean to use black history month in the way you referred to gay pride.)

/bow thank you Jaerik, :] I seriously didn't feel like explaining myself to that person. Your the best, *hands Jaerik a "Friend of the LGBT community badge", your official now. /hug :D

Whys that then?
Dont see many gay guys trolling like you are, dont see many gay guys insulting you straight people, you need to get over yourself, we are slightly different to you. why should it matter? you have your life, we have ours. this thread is for the LGBT community, where we can ACTUALLY be ourselves without worrying about people like you insulting us, but yet you just have to waltz in here and ruin it

Not that it's shouting in everyone else's face, but other minority groups have their own private celebration about their unique identity. Take Black History month for example - is it not about celebrating the history of African Americans (in US) and how far they have come? Why are you to deny us of the right of bonding together and finding like minded people to express how we're PROUD of who we are and how we fit in, at least here.
I am free to choose my lifestyle - I chose to live a relatively private and secluded one amongst friends who don't discriminate. But at the same time, I cannot choose who I am. I believe I'm born bisexual, and that's my business, my partner and my family's business. You're a stranger who just waltz into here to question who we are as people. Why is it any of your business who we are in the first place? We aren't the ones making five topics after each has been nuked to force our presence onto FFXIAH forums. We have one topic, one only, and we're not adding flashing banners to get your attention - ignore us if you're not LGBT or an ally. One topic should hardly cramping your style.

I'm just going to point out a small detail here, but not all gay people are out marching fyi~
I personally enjoy peace and quiet as much as the next guy, gay or straight. :P
I was also not aware that the agenda of these parades was to "enforce" (you should've used "force") "lifestyle choices" on other people. Maybe I need to get out more. D:
Edit: /sadface at topic ban. I was hoping this could be productive. ._.

Over here in the states theres a little thing called Mardi Gras. Google if you must.
And while we're at it, since when was the objective of a pride parade to PUSH our lifestyle choice on others? Last I checked people didn't go gay just because they saw a group of them going down the street.
Response video to recent legislation that left out the anti-discrimination clauses to protect sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression. These people started a movement during spring break (nothing better to do :D) where they advertised through Facebook to phonespam the Attorney General's office.
When I say left out, I mean left out on purpose because before, there were these clauses but they were omitted in the most recent legislation after the new Governor was appointed.
Just curious to see how many of us actually play FFXI. **Now, let's try to keep this clean, please don't respond if you have nothing nice to say.** :] Don't be shy, speak up! :D
EDIT: You don't have to be gay to post in here, if you want to be apart of our conversations.. feel free to join in! Don't be shy, we don't bite.. well some of us do! :] Anyyyyyways~! This thread has become a home to many from the LGBT community & even some from the straight community who are open minded and enjoy chit-chatting with us, :] so let's keep it drama free, we deserve a place where we can be ourselves without being made fun of/harassed.
