As a biochemist its as dangerous/safe as most of the fat burners on the market. Just watch your caffeine intake.
He want's gains so I'm telling him what works. Every supplement, including multi-vitamins, are bad if you take too much. If you have doubts go ask the guys at your gym about the product it's pretty well reviewed on body-building forums.
Creatine is also bad for your kidneys if ur not cycling it. But everyone takes creatine, it makes for nicer muscles. Just make sure your drinking tons of water.
